Bella's Coffee House in Cannock Chase

Took my 1yo with multiple food allergies and they were so helpful and went out of their way to make things easy for us - checking ingredients and making things separately and in a different way to ensure no issues. Food was lovely and service was even better! Would definitely recommend!

I decided to visit a local caff after having one too many lunchbreaks at my desk, and I'm glad I chose this one! I plumped for a slice of mocha cake and some tea - healthy portions and very reasonably priced; I took a look at the menu after I sat down and there's something on there for everyone (and you'll likely get change from a fiver). The staff are super friendly and attentive, and there was a nice chilled vibe - there are bookshelves where you can take and donate, local art for sale on the walls, free Wi-Fi and a pay-it-forward system. Loyalty cards for regulars, too. Everyone there was relaxed and in good spirits. After reading their site (I remember the Chase Independents mentioning them), they do a great deal to support local - it really embodies the ethos of a community hub. As someone who works from home I'll definitely be back!

Nice small cafe right on the high street, Friendly staff, yummy food and unlimited tea! Also has a great cake selection.

My daughter ordered afternoon tea for us the week leading up to xmas, The delivery was bang on time, there was an excellent choice of sandwiches, scotch eggs pork pie pickles and salad. there were scones with jam and cream and an excellent array of cakes. I dont write many reviews but felt impelled to do so. This was better than i have had in any hotel.Support your local business i promise you wont be dissapointed.

We went for breakfast on Saturday very homely cafe with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast and the coffee delicious nothing was to much trouble . Will certainly return. Good value for money.

This is a gem. Friendly staff, gluten free and vegan options on the menu; it ticked all the boxes. The menu was extensive; breakfast and brunch options, light bites, full afternoon tea. A brilliant choice of cakes to suit all tastes, tempted by the blackcurrant and avocado, I opted for the carrot cake (additional cream was offered but not necessary) while my sister had a plain scone with butter. Both were excellent. So, thank you, to Mark, Leah, Sarah and Ellie. If you visit Hednesford as a one-off or regularly, head here; it’s worth it.

Went today with friends for afternoon tea. Lovely fresh produce, tasty sarnies n scones. Couldn't fault it. What let's it down is atmosphere. Tables incredibly close to each other, lacking privacy, defo needs some quiet gentle background music as when cafe starts to empty there is an awkward silence and u find yourself whispering. Gentleman serving was very efficient n lovely but two ladies seemed quite stern and stressed. Needs a more relaxed atmosphere and could be a good hit with a few tweeks.

Called in for breakfast on Saturday, since our last visit it has been revamped and decorated to a high standard. The breakfast was delicious and very good value, service here is excellent nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend a visit to Bella’s.

Just had a cheese, mushroom and marmite toasted sandwich, served with side salad and slaw, personally delivered to my shop in the rain. Best sandwich I've ever had, made me very excited and moist. Insert smiley face here

Classy and comfortable with a lovely atmosphere and good quality food and drinks. The cafe is very much a central part of the local community thanks to the caring owners, staff and customers. The recent refurb has only raised the profile of the cafe further. Highly recommend.

Visited here for the first time today at lunchtime- it was really good value, staff friendly and delicious food that was prepared to order - most certainly will visit again if want a coffee or meal in Hednesford.

As a family we visit every Saturday for months now and have always ordered from the beautiful array of Specialist cakes. Our favourite is the Cream teas - the scones are huge and always served warm with lashings of Clotted cream, butter, Jam and the tea is wonderful enough to 2 very large cup fulls. The atmosphere is very warm, welcoming plus very clean and the staff so wonderful they can not do enough for you. Highly recommended you visit when going into Hednesford Town on the entrance to the Light works.

We have visited here a few times lately for breakfast as our kitchen was being re-fitted. However, we still pop in when we can because it’s so nice.

Just popped in for a quick coffee, the place look warm and inviting. It was a nice coffee quickly served. I the observed the lovely cakes. Then someone sitting close to me had some hot toast. This made my mouth water. Some hot toast was ordered. Lovely .Plesant service. Tables. clean and space to move between then good value.

We went for a quick lunch whilst my daughter was on her lunch break. The staff were lovely tonthe children, food was delicious and very fresh. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had all that we needed and that we had a good dining experience, the coffee was really good. Something that is hard to come by.

Visit here quite regularly when in Hednesford, sometimes making a special trip just to visit for breakfast.The food is a very good with a good range of breakfast items and menu and the staff are always very friendly and polite. Reasonably priced and a lot better than the major high street chains. Has become our "go to" place if we fancy breakfast out.

Yesterday I attended a friend's baby shower afternoon tea at Bella's. I had never been to Bella's before but everything I had heard about it had been very positive. I was not disappointed at all. Beautiful tea rooms with friendly staff. The afternoon tea itself was amazing with tea/coffee replaced and topped up frequently. Absolutely gorgeous looking and tasting cakes. The sandwiches were spot on. The highlight for me was the delicious scones with jam & cream. There was such a big selection that we couldn't finish them but were given little boxes to take it away for later. My husband and son really enjoyed them when I got home. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the whole afternoon tea and the beautiful venue. The friendly service made it even more enjoyable. Would definitely be telling everyone about Bella's and returning with friends and family soon. Thank you again for an enjoyable afternoon.

Although lived in Hednesford fir 15 years have only just discovered Bella's.Staff are very friendly and polite. Only sampled the breakfast menu up to now but has been 100% tasty and good value for money.

I visit here most weeks with my elderly Aunt she loves it and so do I. The staff are very friendly and the food is consistently good

Visiting the area with friends to walk on Cannock Chase after the previous night out at the NEC Arena, we chose Bella's thanks to previous good reviews. They turned out to be accurate. We were greeted by friendly staff on a Monday morning and the order was taken at the table. We all chose the full english. The staff were very happy to allow one of us to change the toasted muffin to bread and another to gluten free bread, which was available without hesitation. The food was freshly cooked with minimal delay, and the quality was much better than expected for £4.20 each. It was superb! Two rashes of thick unsmoked bacon, a good meaty sausage, fried egg, toasted muffin and beans, all cooked extremely well without a trace of grease. The alternatives to the muffin were not cheap sliced bread. The gluten free bread was a granary style, and the other a thick slice of tasty, crusty loaf. It represented excellent value for money and set us up just right for a 9 mile hike around the Chase.It is not local for us, which is a shame as we were given a 10% off voucher when we paid, but we certainly would not hesitate to call again if in the area. If the breakfast is this good, I am sure that the rest of the menu is worthy of the same rating. I can certainly recommend Bella's for good food, friendly attitude and willingness to meet our requests.

We don't come here very often but when we do it's fabulous. Food is ready within 5-10 minutes, lovely service with smiles which is hard to come by these days! Lovely little cafe for a breaky or lunch!

Visited Bella's today with my mom for afternoon high tea. Never seen so much cake! The table was set out with a lovely tablecloth and looked very attractive. We had two cake stands one with sandwiches and cakes , the other with scones, jam and clotted cream. Had a choice of tea or coffee, we had coffee and we had two cups. A delicious selection of sandwiches, which where lovely and fresh. My only conern was which cake to eat first. We both only ate two of the selection of cakes, but was kindly offered a box to take the rest home. Staff friendly and chatty as usual. Couldn't be any more helpful. A lovely afternoon high tea, money well spent. They have gift vouchers for afternoon high tea, a wonderful gift for anyone. Will definitely be going back again. Thanks to sarah mark and staff for a lovely afternoon x

This is a lovely little independent café in the centre of the town. Nice friendly atmosphere and staff very welcoming. The food is of a good standard and very reasonably priced. Some interesting items, my wife had a toasted cramberry tea cake with lemon curd - really nice and a little different.Well worth a visit

Went for breakfast at Bella's, fantastic service from waitress, food served quickly, staff friendly and prices are cheap.Although prices are cheap the food was very good quality, portions very good and food served how we wanted it cooking.This is not a greasy type cafe this is a lovely quaint coffee house - well worth a visit!

This little gem is just wonderful. The staff are always friendly, and right from your first visit, you feel as if you are friends. Variety of hand made coffees (not the machine rubbish) and teas, including Fruit teas and Earl Grey. It's rude not to have cake with your drink. They cater for allergies, including coeliac and lactose, and have Soya milk if you ask for it. Just the best.

Popped in for brunch and were not disappointed.A nice range of dishes and drinks on offer.Everything is freshly prepared so a slightly longer wait than some places, but as we were sitting enjoying the décor and watching the world go by on a lazy day off, that's no bad thing.Service was good and we took some lovely cake home to enjoy later.

I have become a regular at Bella's over the past couple of years. Once you go in, you'll see why! It is decorated beautifully, it is very clean, the food is amazing and the staff are always attentive and chatty. It's perfect for everything from lunch out with the kids to coffee with friends. There is something for everyone on the menu from a full English breakfast to salad. You won't be disappointed.

A great little coffee shop with full service. A cuppa and a cake costs the same a branded cuppa further up the road. Treat yourself and support local business instead of a global brand whilst you are at it. Highly recomended.

A quite unassuming coffee shop, but once inside your greeted like the staff have known you for years, the place is clean,modern and spacious. Dont go in expecting fast food but what you get is hot fresh food in a very reasonable time. If you just want a hot drink there is a great selection add to that a slice of delicious cake and you wont leave dissapointed.

Looks lovely on the inside. Decent reasonabley priced menu. Tea was good. Breakfast not so good and ordered runny egg yolks with breakfast ! They were hard and not eaten. Would i return? Probably not.

Without a doubt the best place to stop by and have coffee/tea and cakes in Hednesford, and arguably in Cannock.Choice of coffees is great and superbly done. Cakes are given at generous portions.Owner is always around and you can see he's dedicated to giving all the customers a great service.If you're in Hednesford you'd be mad not to stop here.

An old man sitting outside with his dog, asked me if I'd mind going in and ordering him a coffee. So I went in ordered a coffee and explained it was for the man sitting at the table outside, all I got was a filthy look and a mumble that seemed to say 'yeah ok' I passed her the money and said thanks but there was no thanks back! I will never visit again. Too stuck up for my liking, no politeness at all!

The ham and cheese omelettes are great! Whenever I am in Hednesford I have to have one. ‘Home-Cooked’ taste with daily specials from a choice of many much loved meals inc. Cheese Pie - Cottage Pie - Lasagne etc, and then you have the healthy option which includes Wraps - Paninis and more all served with a generous portion of side salad. Bella's coffee house is a delight. It's light, VERY clean and the decor is fresh. The breakfasts are lovely. The food is cooked to perfection, the ingredients are high quality and the presentation is first class. Prices are very reasonable - especially given the quality of food and service. Talking of which, service is by waiters and they are courteous and efficient, in fact they soon get to remember all aspects of your order - quirks and all - if you become a regular like I have. They do 'high tea' which I have yet to try but I will be doing soon. They also give you a loyalty card that is ink stamped each visit (how quaint is that?) and after nine stamps you get a free drink. Food excellent, service excellent. Like I said, a little oasis.

I love this place. I live in Bristol, but still regularly come here when visiting family in hednesford. The only thing wrong with this place is that it's not in Bristol! The food is simple but nice and very good value. The staff are great, really friendly and brilliant with children. And this makes such a lovely atmosphere. I always look forward to either breakfast, lunch, or afternoon coffee and cake whenever we're in the area :-)

We made an unexpected lunchtime visit having missed the train by about 30 seconds. We were not happy bunnies, but by the time we had had an excellent Panini and sandwich, refreshing tea and some sympathy we were able to continue our journey in a much better frame of mind! Great change from the commercial giants - staff who actually seem to CARE about you and the food. Brilliant will be visiting again soon - thanks

Went here with family not expecting much as it was our first time.There was 8 of us in total and we all had different types of coffees, the staff handled this confusing order perfectly. The coffees were amazing, best I've had in a very long time.The coffees were that great we decided to all get cakes, again we all had different ones. They were amazing, not dry at all and the portions were not stingy at all. They even came with cream! Usually in coffee houses the portions are stingy and they have no idea what cream is for with cakes!Highly recommended, it can get really busy in there but that's expected.

visited here with a freind. tiny inside, very cramped, even if you get a seat you have to keep moving to let persons get past. food menu was limited to mostly sandwiches, very basic and extremeley over priced. staff were ok but spent most of the time gossiping and i was left at the counter waiting for 10 mins waiting to be served...interupted in the end to get served. staff constantly standing outside having a fag..not a good look and not hygenic....no going again

I have never been greeted with anything less than a warm friendly atmosphere. The staff and customers are like friends. They are great with children and offer a great service. The place is always spotless and is an asset to Hednesford.10/10 all round.

Visit Bella's regularly and am never disappointed the service and the food are always great! I have read the previous review by Macy G and could not believe she was talking about the same place! How dare she say people prefer down to earth grub, doesn't the fact that Bella's was full when she visited tell her that that's exactly what they sell!I love visiting Bella's and will continue to do so as will all the other people who know that Macy GM's review was unfair and untrue!!!
