Il be real honest this place looks lovely . Food on display looks amazing however, I ordered a cluck burger that came with chips salad and mayo in the burger. I made sure to tell the waiter please just a “tiny” bit of mayo on the burger , plus a glass of tap water as it was hot outside and I didn’t fancy a soft drink. I sat in the back however all of a sudden my hay fever kicked right in. I saw a door by the toilets open so decided to take a look and boom there was a huge tree full of pollen out back. Obviously I feel sorry for anyone who suffers with hay-fever as I’m guessing they have to keep that door open because of the heat from the kitchen, not quite sure. My food came with the burger smothered in mayo. Looked like they used a server spoon for it. Not sure if they forgot or didn’t care also my glass of water did not come either but I am sure if I had ordered a drink that cost money I would have received that no problem. The breaded chicken was so chewy,hard in places and stringy. Yes it was not nice at all. I would definitely never order this again. I would probably give them another go one day as benefit of doubt but I would have to order something totally different.

My husband and I stopped for lunch - he had avocado and bacon sandwich and I had a sunrise toastie (egg, bacon and sausage) both with a pot of tea. Both were delicious and a very generous sized portion. Staff friendly also. We sat outside with our dog who appreciated the bowl of water left out.

Very good food, excellent service, very friendly, nice atmosphere, very competitive prices. Very clean .We definitely will be coming back, as regular customers. Thank you for everything 😊

We have eaten here on many occasions for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and cake. The staff are always friendly and give great service and the prices are very competitive. Spotlessly clean and plenty of comfortable inside seating. There is also the option to eat outside when the weather permits.

My husband and I stopped here on a Saturday during the time the market was there. We sat outside with our dog. My husband had a prawn salad sandwich, I had a breakfast sandwich both with cappacinos and we ordered a burger only for our dog - it all came to a little over £21. Can't fault the food at all or the service.

Always a good bet for breakfast or lunch they have a good range of food options and will happily put together something not on the menu. Speedy service and smiling staff makes this a good place to eat for an hour or so.

I ordered 2 full english breakfast and the toast that was delivered with the food was burnt and when I called to complain, he was justyfing they sent burnt toast, £26.00 wasted . he promised to send another toast but nothing came and aim of having breakfast has been defeated .

Many of Dartford’s restaurants, particularly those serving Indian or Thai food, remain obstinately shut at lunchtimes despite their websites advertising otherwise. Not surprising then that some of the most popular venues at lunchtime especially for those not needing a beer, are cafes such as Bella Venezia. There’s a full menu of sandwiches and paninis as well as more substantial fayre such as spaghetti bolognese or chicken escalope and chips. I settled for an omelette and chips with my choice of three fillings ham cheese and tomatoes although tomato was duplicated in the accompanying salad. And a mighty fine omelette it was too which with a pot of chamomile tea rather hit the spot this lunchtime.

Delicious breakfast today in this friendly cafe in the pedestrian area of Dartford High Street. The smoked salmon, scrambled egg and avocado with plenty of toast was some of the nicest I’ve had anywhere, and my partner was equally pleased with his full English with black pudding. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The menu is huge. There is some outside seating.

Me and my partner visited this cosy little gem for lunch. The staff were very welcoming and attentive upon our arrival. We both ordered sandwiches (prawn and a toasted BLT, respectively). The sandwiches were freshly prepared and the quality of the ingredients was exceptional. The side salad with a balsamic vinegar dressing was also a nice touch and complemented the sandwiches. The orange juice was also freshly prepared, served in a nice glass and was very refreshing. 10/10 for this establishment who clearly take pride on the service they provide. Possibly the best cafe in Dartford!

This is the best cafe ever! The food is always exquisite! They have great coffee (and I’m hard to please)! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I would always recommend this cafe for any meal of the day!

Popped in for a coffee before an appointment and then after for lunch . What a superb place . They remembered our coffee choice and the quality and amount of choices on the menu were great . Best of all was the service . Fantastic. Will definitely be back .

I cannot believe that I have not visited here before, being local there is no excuse.I have been missing out on a little gem. Really interesting menu with lots of choices and the food is ever so good. Do try the Veggie Egg, perfect.Friendly staff, looking forward to return visit.

I have a life threatening nut allergy, I asked for a dish and confirmed with the man serving/preparing that it would not contain any nuts as none of what I had ordered had nuts in it. I ate my chicken some salad when I moved onto other parts of my salad I found a walnut in my food (luckily I didn’t put it into my mouth with other food) it was pot luck I found it, I explained this to the man who said sorry but there was no nuts in this food I don’t know why it’s there. Quite clearly he was unaware of how to prevent food contamination. I explained that it was my life he had put at risk and should be more aware so that this doesn’t happen again to someone else, and if I’m honest he didn’t seem to care. So I will not be taking the risk of eating there again!

Having used this establishment quite often, I thought it time to let more people know what a wee gem this place is. Fantastic service, top notch breakfast and lunch. Friendly, efficient staff. This is our new goto for fast, nourishing food. Braw!

This is a very busy local café, which has a wide variety of food on offer at reasonable prices. The portion sizes are generous. The service is also good and the premises are clean and well looked after.I'd recommend arriving between midday and 12.30pm to avoid disappointment!Very nice

Mouth watering display of food and cakes in a lovely surrounding with efficient service at a reasonable price. I regularly pop in for a cuppa or a Panini and have never been disappointed. 5 *****

The atmosphere here is good - not too loud, but still busy. The staff are excellent - efficient and friendly. The food is varied, but all of a high quality, and the coffee is lovely!

Hemos tenido café aquí en muchas ocasiones pero recientemente disfrutamos de su desayuno inglés completo que ofrece. Bacon, salchichas, huevos (sin embargo te apetece) croquetas de patata, setas, alubias y pan tostado. El plato estaba lleno a casi corriendo y la calidad de la comida era excelente, así como el precio. El restaurante estaba muy limpio y ordenado, y el personal era muy amable. Probablemente uno de los mejores lugares para desayunar en Dartford.

Joya escondida de dartford literalmente. Si no sabes dónde comer para comer o nunca lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Y la deliciosa selección de comida, excelentes precios, satisfaciendo las porciones y por encima de todo el personal inmejorable! El personal es muy amable y va más allá con su servicio de atención al cliente su actitud a la satisfacción del cliente crea un entorno que es una maravilla y sin duda hace que la gente regrese allí más de una vez.

Excellent food. Simple inexpensive, friendly. Good coffee and ice cream. Salmon and chips was just how I'd make it at home! I'd prefer a non cucumber based salad but that's just me. Thanks Bella's.

Lovely choice of food served by friendly staff. Gets very busy at lunchtime so proves it's good. If I had any negative comments it would be that the toilet was a bit wiffy, my friend advised me not to use ift!

A lunch time visit which turned out to give excellent food, cheerful staff but slow. Considering it was quiet when we arrived at 1230 hrs and only having the lunch menu choice we didn't get out until 1300 hrs. The food was great and the staff helpful but slow.

I have first visited this restaurant with my husband nearly 4 years ago when it first opened. Their delicious healthy food was a hit in comparison to others. And we took the kids in the evening for an early dinner. Now, I came back after I moved to visit my friend on her birthday. We had lunch there. I was so delighted to see how busy it is. The food counter looked so colourful and lively. Staff are smiling and welcoming. They are patient to give you the best options that suit your need. I had a lovely healthy salad mix of 3 types, couscous, coleslaw and greek salad. My friend had a mix of prawn and greek salads. They were delicious and the ingredients were fresh. We really enjoyed it. The price is excellent. When I go back, I will definitely eat there again.

I went here for lunch and it was buzzing with all sorts of people. Those retired and others on lunch. It was friendly and quick and I had a cheese and onion toastie and tea and it was served with a salad and a whole pot of tea which was enough for two. Nice waitress and busy but friendly/ It had lots of comfortable seats and competitive prices and I would visit it again. People were ordering meals and everybody was chatting away happily and it was a nice atmosphere.

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times now but cannot say why I have never reviewed it before!It is not the cheapest eating place in Dartford where every other shop seems to sell food! It is however very friendly - the staff have fantastic memories for their customers.The girls who bring the food over are very charming,always smiling and have a cheery word to say. The food is always fresh (in my opinion) and well prepared. It is always very busy which is good for the business and shows it is well liked by a lot of customers. I have had various meals there - Caesar salad, spaghetti bolognaise, chicken chips and salad are a few that spring to mind. If I did not enjoy the meals I wouldnot continue to return there. I find the meals are a fair price for what you get. I can taste the food and do not find it bland. There is a fair amount of choice to suit most people and there is also a take out service. There are a couple of tables outside for the hardy. I even turned up once and found itfull! A rarity these days. All in all it is not fine dining with wine glasses and finetable clothes but it is good wholesome food in a pleasant atmosphere. Keep up the good work.

I went here on a weekday with my friend and we only ordered a cappuccino each but both agreed it was the best one we've had! £2.70 for a large coffee was excellent! The staff there are so friendly and welcoming and the food that they have on display all looked delicious. We will be returning and ordering some food next time!

Walked into the establishment, at about 12.30am queued up to order my food, decided to have what was on the menu! On the wall, I asked for the Breakfast Brunch! The guy behind the counter told me that they don't serve breakfast, after a certain time???? Why call it BRUNCH then!!! To this I walked straight won't be going there again.

The setting is very modern and the premises is surprisingly roomy when you look at the building from the outside. The service is usually friendly. The prices are slightly higher than most cafes in Dartford but I think this is reflected on the quality of the food. I have bought various types omelette for breakfast or lunch and they are always cooked extremely well.

I love Italian food and Italian coffee but was sorely disappointed.This was very unauthentic. Produce wasn't freshly served and sin of sin - by coffee was burnt and bitter!There are better coffee places just around the corner!

Food is all cooked from scratch. There is a wide range of choices and loads of healthy stuff! By far the best cafe in Dartford. It's always busy and therefore you may have to wait for a table, but that's because it's so great!

The staff here are wonderful. They take care of, and are kind to, all their customers. Their food is fresh, delicious, and great value for money. I love their breakfasts and the freshly-squeezed apple juice. The also have the best coffee in Dartford.

I have been to this gem a few times for both breakfast and lunch. The cooked breakfasts are delicious and they are always willing to adapt their menu to suit your tastes. There is a lull wide variety of fresh salads available. Perhaps most importantly is the kind hearted staff. Everybody who walks in is a valued customer and they don't hesitate to go above and beyond to be helpful.

Today I went for a coffee here with a friend and our two toddlers.I member of staff saw us coming to the door with pushchairs and immediately rushed to open the door for us. We sat in comfortable chairs at the back of the restaurant to enjoy our large lattes while my child slept and my friends was entertained and given a biscuit by a waitress. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I can't remember the last time I've been somewhere to have a coffee and had been treated like this. Manners and Politeness has certainly not been lost in this place. We even good a thankyou and goodbye from the 3 staff that were there when we left. Again the door was opened for us before we even had to ask?a The food also looks fantastic so will definitely be returning to eat.

Generous portions but most importantly good quality food, good coffee and nice service in what is definitely the only place in Dartford where I enjoy eating. And I'm rather fussy with my coffees and food.

The only decent place in Dartford high street nowadays unless you want your nails done or place a bet... Great selection of food choice from breakfast to jacket pots and panini's. Bit more expensive than the greasy spoon cafes down the way but you get what you pay for...

The service here is cheerful and the staff remember your preferences. The coffee is very good. Excellent selection of food cooked on the premises. Best banoffee pie! Salad dressing perfect.

I sometimes come here for cup of coffee. It is nice place with pleasant staff. But the prices are quite high. I ate here just once. I had an omelette. I had requested vegetarian without bacon and I got one with bacon. What a disappointment!

Mum and I were out today in Dartford. She wanted tong onto the Church cafe along the road. God, that place is so depressing! So glad I made her go here instead. I had no idea what to expect but my prawn salad was something to behold! Really was pretty sensational! Will definitely go back if I'm nearby again. What a surprise to find such a great eaterie! :D

Been here several times now and always friendly and good value food.Can get busy at peak times but never had to wait more than 5 minutes.Lots of choice and delicious coffee.Particularly enjoy the wide range of salads available and the daily specials.Will keep coming back!

I absolutely love this place and have lunch here whenever I am in town. One of my favourite places to eat.I usually have a lovely ciabatta with fresh ingredients and they never fail to be absolutely gorgeous.I am so glad that Dartford finally has such a lovely restaurant. It is also very reasonably priced for what you get. The only thing I do not like about it is that it is not open on a Sunday :)

This is about the 5th time I've had lunch here on a Saturday over the last year and I'm pleased to report that quality is consistently good, together with prompt friendly service. I ordered the homemade minestrone soup which came with a baguette and my daughter ordered a tuna melt. We were not disappointed with either quantity or quality. See you again soon!

This little gem of a restaurant/cafe is lovely. Situated amongst other cafes/pubs/fast food restaurants it should battle for trade. however, this small but perfect place provides comfortable dining, excellent service and quality when it comes to their food. The plates are huge so be prepared with what you order. Slightly more expensive than other places in the town but here the quality far out ways the cost. £6.50 for a tea, jacket with cheese and coleslaw and lovely fresh side salad. Great staff and clean and quick to clear your plates once you've devoured your lovely food. Would definitely consider eating there before a show at The Orchard where possible. Lovely Italian bistro, lovely staff, lovely food ad a wonderful atmosphere. Love going here with my mum, as there are dishes that we both love. It is a wonderful place to go for a mother and daughter lunch.

Have been here 4 times, and on each occasion the food has been very nice. I have been as a couple, with family (inc children) and as a group of girls before visiting the theatre. Would thoroughly recommend but don't go if you are pushed for time. Before the theatre they are very busy so allow enough time! That way you will enjoy your visit!

I love going here for breakfast. Their coffee is one of the best I have tasted and their scrambled egg is wonderful. Their lunches, sandwiches and salads or really fresh and I have enjoyed everything I have eaten there. The staff are very polite and helpful and the atmosphere is extremely welcoming.

Bella Venezia is a gem. The place is immaculate, the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. We can't recommend it highly enough.

We have eaten in this cafe a few times now when in the Dartford area. The food is presented to a very high standard, extremely tasty and excellent value for money. Example being a breakfast of smoked salmon, scrambled eggs with brown toast to include drink of your choice. I had Americano coffee for £4.95. Would have given the extra star but just feel some of the faux leather seats need attention.

This was my first visit but definitely not my last.Had the daily special of meatballs.Yum!Coffee was hot and good.They remembered my daughter who has been there several times before.I will be returning soon.

I have been here for lunch on a few occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed every time. The food is lovely and the services alway good and friendly. My only disappointment is that they don't do evening meals.

I had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and it was perfect. I wasn't expecting it after visiting a few of the other cafes in Dartford but the dish was actually really well composed, I would expect to pay £12-15 in London for the same thing. Coffee was great and there was no need for sugar which is always a sign of good coffee for me

Wonderful cafe. Great food and service. Staff are wonderful. We go every Saturday morning and always are do well looked after, staff can't do enough for you and the food is scrummy. Definitely the best cafe in Dartford and surrounding areas. You won't be disappointed here.

Walked into town and around Central Park with a friend for a bit of exercise and decided to use Bella Venezia as our pit stop, after seeing the reviews on here. I regularly go to dartford but usually go in the 'greasy spoon' cafes which we love, but this was a nice change. Just had a coffee which was great and a nice atmosphere, will definately be back for some food as the open sandwiches behind the counter looked yummy and reasonably priced

We absolutely love this place. The food is lovely and really well cooked and presented, the drinks are great with a great choice. The cafe is clean and stylish and the staff are really welcoming and helpful. There is soya milk available- I believe this is the only cafe in Dartford to do this. Excellent value for money and we come here every week. Recommend 100% to all.

had the most disgusting breakfast here! i normally go dolly's diner in longfield but thought i'd give this place a try. The coffee wasn't strong and tasted cheap! As for the rest of my breakfast, I could have made a better one at home!!

Great little place!Met a friend for lunch here and really enjoyed it! We were worried there wouldn't be anywhere for us to sit because it was so busy, staff were very helpful. All the food was well presented which made ordering easy. We got a ciabatta, a pastry and 2 coffees, all for under £10. Food was lovely, as was the coffee.Makes a change to the usual high street cafés, will be returning next time I'm in Dartford. Highly recommend a visit if you're in town.

Excellent selection of good quality food, with an emphasis on Italian deli-style and pasta/salad options. Delicious panini's and baguettes. Really decent coffee. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Friendly staff and efficient service.
