Bella Italia in City of London, Westminster

Had matinee tickets booked at the Apollo Theatre so stopped at Bella Italia for pre-theatre lunch. We had no booking but were promptly shown to a table. I am a coeliac and the menu catered very well for a gluten free diet. The food was excellent as was the service. We would not hesitate to come back here pre or post theatre.

This was a great spot for a dinner before the theatre. The server was amazing as the place was very busy with theatre goers like us. Food was good with special attention paid to gluten free requirements.

Delicious food attentive waiter and quick service by Zoltan. Very nice experience. I will be back again for sure. Best choice is the lasagne.

Terrible experience We ordered one pasta carbonara and one pizza Pepperoni The carbonara were tasteless and not even well cooked.. it seems there were cooked without salt in the water, the cream was really fat and the bacon not enough cooked. The pizza was fresh frozen ! All this for 50Pounds … The staff of the restaurant should be ashamed of what they serve !

Very convenient for Apollo Theatre. Attentive staff, very helpful. Reasonable priced food especially for being in central London. Quick service too being served and on obtaining the bill. Quite a tight squeeze on the tables for 2, but does create a cosy atmosphere.

Called on on a busy Sunday and was seated straight away. Nice atmosphere and we looked over the menu. The wine list is very small especially for red wine. Ordered the combo. We shared a stater of mozzarella sticks and cheesy dough which were both hot and very tasty. Our mans were pepperoni pizza and spaghetti carbonara. The pizza was warm not hot which cooled very quickly which was a shame as it was tasty. The carbonara was also tasty but the temp was also warm. The bill was reasonable except for the compulsory service charge. I hate this compulsory charge. It should be left to the individual to tip.

Waited more than 20 min to be seated even though at the time they had 3 tables empty. The restaurant seemed to be running understaffed ( 2 cashiers for 15-20 tables) . People were waiting 20 min for drinks 30 min for their food and...

We were off to the theatre all 12 of us and pre-booked. Shame the pasta machine broken but we all have a fantastic meal, desert was to die for. Monica was absolutely amazing. Will definitely go again if ever in London

Little but cozy place for quick meal just before theatre. Food was tasty and fresh I ordered pasta gamberoni with prawns and my partner seabas. Service was polite and very helpful. Thank you for serving us just on time.
