Bella Italia in Mansfield

Great food. Staff were really nice. Love the pizza here with all the extra Parmesan. The garlic crust turns it into one of my favourite pizzas ever. Definitely recommended

Had a fab meal here on 04 Jan. Was pretty busy but still managed to get meals out in reasonable time. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend meatballs starter

I would tick more reasons for the great experience which my friends received because I love this particular Bella Italia Restaurant above others due to the consistent warm reception, attentivness and lovely atmosphere, but the quality of the food and drink keeps my family and friends returning as often as we can.

Young staff run off their feet but trying their best. Cheap takeaway standard food at best but at prices same as other restaurants. Decor uninspiring. Spent £116 for 3 of us, 3 starters, 3 mains, 1 desert and soft drinks.

Food was brilliant, hats off to the chef however the service we received was overall shocking. Our first waitress with pigtails didn’t manage to get her name was lovely even though service was slow. We started to notice that even the simplest of tasks was taking a while Ie clearing our table from starters to mains, offering us fresh cutlery! We was even waiting 25 minutes for a pint of beer given they was only two other tables within the restaurant. When asked we was told they would check but when I asked again and told them this was unacceptable I was greeted by a non remorseful response… “i’ll go look” no apology.. but continued to tell me that the 4 staff he has on shift two of them are going home so they are busy! This however is not my problem as a customer. When asking for his name I was greeted by them all talking behind the bar about our table. Very unprofessional. We will not be returning to this store given the negative response we received, it really is a shame as it was really lovely food. I think John the manager needs to under go further training and potentially learn some manners on how not to be rude to people.

Decided to have a bite to eat after Christmas shopping and the cold, my mum had a cold a didn't fancy cooking once home. Saw Bella Italian across the car park from Sainsbury's. Got a table easily. We had the meatballs and then the Christmas veg pasta. Which was lovely and filling, so unusual, brave choice to put on the menu ; sprouts with pasta, peppers and mushrooms. In a cream sauce. Sat at a good table. Only criticism was the second course was slightly slow but a minor point and it could have felt abit cosier. Would come again. Mum felt unwell so didn't want desserts etc but may order next time.

The prawn pasta was delicious. The Camembert was ordered with gf flatbread which was a bonus.

I enjoyed a lovely Margherita Pizza and Chocolate Orange Fondant. Lisa, my server, was very friendly and committed to great customer service and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great.

We went for our anniversary and the whole atmosphere was lovely, with comfy seating and everything needed to dine. All of the staff were amazing but I think a special shoutout is needed for our server Joanna who was very attentive, answered any of our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us lots of Parmesan cheese and lots of mayo for my fries. She was super friendly and just all around amazing!

Had a great lunch here today. My girlfriend has coeliac disease and there was so many gluten free options. The food was fab and our server, Ruby was lovely. Would recommend.

We haven't been to Bella Italia in a few years but remembered it being great so my daughter requested we go there for her birthday. From the moment we walked in the manager was shouting at her staff and being rude to them which immediately created an uncomfortable environment. We then sat down and it took 30 minutes just for them to come and get our drinks order (one of which was an aperol spritz and it came with no prosecco in it) we then received our food an hour later which was average to say the least. We were in there for a total of 3 and a half hours and was never checked on once, we had to flag them down every time we wanted more drinks, never offered parmesan or salt, or asked if we needed anything, never wished my daughter a happy birthday etc. The manager was constantly shouting across the restaurant and being rude to her staff. Overall the staff were not very attentive and the food was nowhere near as nice as it used to be. Would not recommend

Quiet as expected for a Wednesday but overall we had a great time. Dinner with family. Kids meal is great even for good eaters and for price. I had the ribs main which was excellent. All 6 of us had a great meal and we got 25% off with veterans discount. Same as Blue light Sun to Thu.

Joanna was our only server, she was the only staff member running round and was very friendly nothing was too much for her even though she was very busy. Food was nice however came out warm rather than hot as there was slow service as Joanna was running solo. she deserves a gold medal!!!

I celebrated a friend’s birthday there recently and ordered the cannelloni which was delicious. Our waitress, Joanna, was exceptional and so enthusiastic, and the unique touch of the ice cream parlour made the night extra special!

Disappointed in everything I'm afraid, calamari coating was soggy, calzone doughy and just about hot ,meatballs overcooked, tortelini bland and sauce "claggy" The mains took nearly an hour to arrive ,we were told 4 minutes after 35 minutes waiting ,it was another 20 plus , no apologies from staff. Our starter plates were left on the table for 20 minutes after we had finished them ,the restaurant wasn't very busy at all, we weren't asked how our meals were, the list goes on. I rarely give bad reviews but this was by far the worst Italian meal I have had in the uk and probably the second worse meal anywhere.

We were served by Joanna on Friday 18/10/24. Despite being very busy, she regularly checked how everything was and if we needed anything extra. Her service was impeccable and she is a credit to the restaurant.

The most amazing experience, more so because I have coeliac.. the gluten free food was easily found in the menu, but more so the fact that the food was gluten free you would t have ever known it was that good!
