Bella Italia in South Bucks

Just walked out of there, ordered food and asked for Crayons, so my Daughter could drawn, after 10 mins I was still trying to catch someone’s eye when the place was virtually empty, my Daughter asked me where our drinks are, finally a dry pasta (Pollo Fungi) and a kids pizza arrived, I’ve never seen or had cooked pasta that dry ever, I asked the waitress if it normally comes like that, “shouldn’t it have some sauce?” I asked, she said no it comes like that and she could ask the chef to put some sauce on it, by then I had given up on it, so I asked for the menu, and it says “Mascarpone” which is normally a sauce, she said that’s how it comes, I looked at the menu and said, “ ok could I have a Carbonara instead please, “ her reply was yes, but it will come dry like that as well” I said ok can I speak to a manager, she said there was no manager but she was the supervisor, my Daughter also said her kids pizza was dry, so I just said I was going to pay for the drinks and go to Nando’s next door, she said ok but lots of people (about 5 tables of people) are here and they are having the same and haven’t complained, I said ok and bit my tounge and said we’re gonna go to Nando’s next door, funnily enough Nando’s had a 45 min wait next to an empty Italian restaurant, I have lived in Taplow for 10 years and this used to be a good Italian restaurant

Everything was amazing, i think they changed management as I’ve been before and the service was very poor. I will definitely come back after this visit.

Food was OK as expected. Restaurant was empty. Drinks menu price different to what charged on soft drinks though. Monike was polite and very helpful.

Kamran was extremely hospitable. A warm personality. Knowledgeable about his food and made good recommendations. He was very attentive and friendly. We had a very lovely lunch, made even nicer by our waiter.

Visited for dinner last week. We were greatest by Radhika and shown to our table. Our drinks order was taken by a very professional and polite lady (I forget her name). We ordered 3 pizza and a carbonara. The pizza was delicious as expected. We had dessert and tried the Tiramisu Latte which was absolutely delightful! Thank you.

I bought a Cheeseburger, and I found the meat is frozen . So no taste. 😔 The service great 👍

Lovely food, nice music and good atmosphere

Lovely food and great service for a family meet up. The car-park however is a nightmare (this was a Sunday late lunch), much too small for the number of shoppers with two entrances creating jams in every lane, so leave time to find a space.

We have been to Bella Italia before, but this time the food was absolutely delicious. Monika, was the only one around and was attending to the customers, taking orders, making drinks, serving them, and taking payments all alone. She is a star!

I visited this restaurant Today as a first time, and ordered cookie dough and cappuccino and since that time my stomach hurts so bad I wasn't able to eat anything, it looks like something wrong with the ingredients plus the cutlery were not clean enough It was a bad experience for me.

Ordered on Uber eats and I only had like 3 items turn up, called the restaurant and they were the most unhelpful staff going and the lady I spoke to rubeeka or something like that was very rude and just sent me Ubers direction didn’t want to help or anything. Very poor service!! Need to rethink about customer service will be telling all friends and family to never come here or order from there!!!

The delivery option that I ordered to my hotel was awful. Lasagna looks like it was baked in the box. It might be different I. Person, but if you’re having it delivered, avoid at all cost.

For the price the portions were ridiculously small. The pasta and fries were warm, the can was hot! I just can’t believe how much more expensive it was for the tiniest portion of food. Disappointed

We went there for dinner and its at a good spot in Taplow with big parking lot. The Bella Italia Menu is okay -ish. The chicken pizza with spice sausage was salty. The veggie pizza we ordered was not great at taste. The dough balls, calimary and fries were good as starters.

Well first time I have ever stepped in a Bella Italia. Very imported I had rack of ribs cooked to perfection wife had carbonara. I would recommend these dishes both cooked perfect and tasted delicious. Also the service was fantastic could not fault anything.

Food was yummy, restaurant was clean and tidy. Staff were very attentive.

Monica was unbelievable and went above and beyond to help. Great food, great service.

Visited as a family of 4 whilst staying the night in the area, the staff were friendly and helpful. It was my daughter's birthday and we asked for a sparkler to be put in her desert which the waitress was happy to do, my daughter loved this. I had spaghetti Bolognese which was a bit bland but all other food was delicious. Children's menu is great and we wouldn't hesitate to visit another Bella italia in the future.

Extremely poor. When we were seated the seats and table didn't seem to have been cleaned, fresh cutlery was out but there was an evenly sifted skim of crumbs coating every square inch of the table and seats. The starters were okay but then they got our order wrong for the mains then when the correct food did arrive we struggled to force it down us only because we was genuinely so hungry to such an extreme we tried but failed, barely getting through half of each meal. Neither of us are fussy and have ever complained before but was genuinely so badly cooked/microwaved. We had to stop past a takeaway after to actually fulfill our need to feed.

Worst pasta I’ve ever had in my entire life, pasta is overcooked, bland and flavourless. Ordered carbonara and didn’t even able to serve with such basic dish Service was fair but attitude can be improved. Decoration is fair but with everything combined it’s just a waste. Tiramisu is definitely been there for at least a week and it might taste worse than a supermarket tiramisu. Generally, if you have any sorts of living taste buds, I wouldn’t waste a dine out in there Worst franchise of bella italia I’ve ever had compare to all the other franchise

Very expensive for what was served. nearly £3 for a can of coke. The main was spagetti with meatballs. 5 little balls and a tiny bowl of spagetti. Obviously been microwaved as the speed it came out. Felt ripped off and wont be going back Total nearly £20

I have been to bella italia many times because of the service and variety of gluten free and lactose intolerant you offered. I went to go to the taplow restaurant recently to be made very disappointed. I was told I had to check recent changes on my phone. I am used to being given a menu and advised of any changes. The restaurant wasn't busy at this time 7.30 so I would have expected better customer service. I won't be frequenting a bella italia anytime soon.

Our waiter, Kamran, was very helpful and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was calm and quiet and the food was delicious! We Will definitely be coming back!

This restaurant can be rather inconsistent. When it is good, it's great but often sadly to say it is mediocre. Prices have risen rather alarmingly since covid and there are rarely any decent offers these days so I am more likely to employ my own cocktail and pasta / pizza making skills at home.

Food was freezing cold by the time it got to me, the lasagne had 1 sheets of pasta that was it.

A decent chain restaurant that serves decent quality food at a decent price. Staff are very pleasant and helpful whenever we visit.

Please shut this restaurant always short staffed always turning away business some nights they are shut no other option within the vicinity apart from fast food outlets went in tonight Saturday 8pm not letting anyone in shutting soon no staff no manager supervisor with no name refused to give name treat staff badly they never stay had a few nice staff members that came from Frankie & Bennys that have gone because this place is awful to customers & staff

Really enjoyed it here. The food was really tasty with loads of gluten free options so anyone with a gluten allergy is spoilt for choice which is a rarity as it can be very hard to find many gluten free dishes when eating out. The Waitress was very nice too. We would definitely go again

Staff are very hard working and very kind

We went there before Covid and the food was very nice but it’s now missing the Wow factor. We had pizza with pepperoni and pizza with meatballs, the prawns pasta isn’t as nice and the BBQ ribs is like one bought from supermarket. Pizz base is nice though. What happened to the former chef?

No wonder it was empty when all the rest had zero spaces.. As we walked, had to wait for ages to be noticed and to be seated - staff were passing by and avoiding eye contact… this should’ve been our first clue. Quite shocked with the food - all tiny and overpriced portions.. As an example - this is a £4 side dish… The salad was so bitter I couldn’t eat it - the leaves were bitter and loaded with vinegar, irritated the throat so much I started coughing.. and don’t get tempted by kids eat for £1 - the little font says between 4-6pm 🤣 Our first and last time..

Delicious food, great service, and nice atmosphere

We arrived at 6:10pm and within half an hour no one had come to take our drinks order let alone our food order. Me and my husband wanted to have dinner before we went to home to start bedtime routine with our 3 month old, who was getting restless waiting at the restaurant. As the service was delayed our baby’s bedtime and routine was then delayed. We attempted to flag someone down but no one was looking our way or giving us any sort of attention. In the end, we ended up walking out without having had anything to eat or drink. Really disappointing considering it we were hoping for a nice evening meal as a family.

This restaraunt is 5 stars because the food is great, the toilets are clean and the dessert was yummy. I recommend going to this restaraunt. 😋

Second time my family have been here for a Sunday as the kids love it. Kayla in particular is a great waitress. She can never do too much for our table. The menu however needs updating. There’s items on it which are no longer being made. Or they’re out of stock. Someone needs to sort out the stock take and the kitchen need to communicate stock needs better.

Awful experience here. We ordered a pasta and the seabass dish - the seabass arrived as a plain piece of fish with lots of fries (nothing like the description) - we asked if this was someone else's order because it's supposed to come with vegetables and potatoes. The server said they didn't have any potatoes left, but we should've been told this when we were ordering and also the place was empty on a Monday afternoon except for one other couple so it didn't really add up that they were out of stock. They then brought out a side of unseasoned, overcooked and dry vegetables in a bowl. It was one of the worst meals I've ever had out. The pasta sauce was fine but the pasta itself was completely overcooked and mushy. No way will we be coming back to Bella Italia again or recommending it.

Rotting potatoes- absolutely black, with my sea bass, even the blind could have seen it but not the chef or server.

Ordered the Gamberoni and Spaghetti and meatballs 😋. Food arrived piping hot and every mouthful was delicious.

Ordered many times it was nice. This time awful, they did not send my main meal. They don't even try and make contact to let me know,also charged my £17.49.The rest of the food was cold. I also called and they put me through to somebody that can help and it was an automated service which is more that useless. Shame so I will not been using Bella Italia anymore.

Delicious meal had by myself and my partner; the lentil ragu was amazing 👌🏻 only downside which means one less star was the lack of working locks on the ladies bathroom stalls.

Ordered the lasagne, I'm no lasagne expert but I was expecting more then one sheet of pasta. freezing cold when it got here. Don't bother ordering the garlic bread, it's the tiniest morsel you could imagine, cold again. The Salad was off, all curled up and brown. Looks like it was made a week ago. £30 lighter for the pleasure of it as well. Avoid at all costs, I have lodged a request for a refund.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at Bella Italia Taplow. Food was delicious and served quickly. Waiting staff, Raf and Monika were friendly and efficient.

I ordered shrimps that came in shells which I hate peeling. The staff took my portion to the kitchen without any problems and I received peeled shrimps, delicious as always! The portion was delicious.

We were taken care of by Kamran, who was delightful, so helpful and cheerful- it was a pleasure to be there and the food was delicious
