Loved the vibe, the food, the staff were super nice and helpful, the chicken in the pasta was super soft and nice, I loved the music that was being played, the only bad thing was the spaghetti - it was dry and didn’t have any sauce on it.

So I was asked on here after writing a review when they first opened to give the place a second go. Today I did that on my birthday got a take away. Worse thing I decided to do. Pasta was dry, chicken chewy and dry worse arrabiata I've eaten. My partner got a carbonara first time he enjoyed this time no sauce very dry pasta didn't enjoy at all. So many good Italian in tunbridge well that I could have gone to but was asked to give a second chance to this place. That we did such a mistake didn't even eat my dinner

Vito made our experience very enjoyable. Arranged a table for our group and was incredibly pleasant to deal with.

The owner must have a lot of friends willing to give 5 star reviews, because no way can this genuinely be one of the highest rated restaurants in TW. After his rude comments to me I checked and most reviews are from people with under 5 reviews, and he knows all of their names!!!!!The only reason it gets any stars from us is because the waiting staff are lovely and good at their job, but the food was beyond bad. The spaghetti surely can’t be that bad you say? But hell yeah it was atrocious and had 100% been microwaved as it was nuclear hot as well as tasteless and bland. We were just visiting the town, so glad we won’t ever have to eat here again. Clearly you are wrong to say we never visited here, as the pictures show your menu, location and grim dinner. Calling reviewers liars is not the way to go about business, maybe spend more time on the premises seeing what is happening and making improvements rather than ignoring any criticism. Still we won’t be back ever

Having not visited Tunbridge Wells before we were there yesterday for a Dance Show, we stumbled across this restaurant and we are so glad we did, the food was lovely, generous portions reasonably priced and lots to choose from but the meal was made even better by the service, all the staff were lovely and attentive but a extra special mention needs to go to VITO who made a meal a great experience by his humour and friendliness. Will definitely visit again 🙂

We had a wonderful dinner here with two families. It was a last minute walk in and they kindly looked after us and served us quickly as we needed to go back in to the theatre 👍👍👍

Awesome drinks, food and deserts and even greater hospitality from all the staff members. Special thanks to Vito for taking so much good care of us. Definitely recommend for authentic Italian food for all those out there who are keen to relish Italian cuisine👍🏻.

Not sure what was happening in the kitchen at Bella Capri on Friday evening but it wasn’t good! We booked an early dinner at 5.30pm as we were seeing a show nearby at 7.30pm and expected this to be plenty of time. Welcome was friendly and we were shown to our table upstairs. This used to be Prezzo, which closed in Summer 2023 and has been taken over. Menu looked good for this new independent Italian and the restaurant was less than half full at that time. Drinks came and we ordered some simple starters (garlic bread and bruschetta) plus our 3 main courses. The starters were a bit slow but arrived so we asked for our main to follow on straight away. The Manager said he’d let the kitchen know. We then sat and sat and sat. The restaurant had filled up both upstairs and downstairs plus they had started seating people at tables outside - felt like the Manager and two friendly waitresses were overstretched. Twice I went downstairs to speak to the Manager to chase up our main courses. The restaurant was full but there was very little food actual on the tables both upstairs and downstairs. Lots of people waiting. It felt like one of those Gordon Ramsey programmes when things go wrong and the food stops leaving the kitchen! What happened? In the end our mains finally turned up after nearly 1.5 hours and we were left with 10 minutes to eat what we could, pay and leave, which isn’t a good way to enjoy a meal! My pizza was fine and freshly cooked but the two pasta dishes had been microwaved before being brought to us and were very hot in the middle so not good dishes. If this restaurant is going to survive it needs to sort out its kitchen issues and ensure good Italian food served timely to all customers. Perhaps reducing the number of tables being used whilst things are being sorted will help do this.

Came for lunch with my dad, absolutely lovely food, atmosphere and good prices, the BEST chicken parmigiana I’ve ever had. Lovely selection of dishes, Will definitely be returning to try more. Thankyou.

Went here on a recommendation and it absolutely did not disappoint. The food and service were both absolutely excellent, everyone around the table was talking about which dish they wanted to try next time because it was all so good. A great place for all the family to go to, including children. We will definitely be going back here (hopefully very soon!).

Lovely service, made us feel like one of the family. Had one vegetarian and she had plenty of choice. Only negative was the shared starter was a bit on the small size.

Isnt it funny in Tunbridge Wells that some rival businesses fear competition ? . No need too restaurants in particular that feel its the norm to post negative reviews whilst maybe never having set foot in said restaurant . Only perhaps in their own lunch hour ! . Coming from a hospitality background myself it is very easy to spot these fake negative reviews . I am looking to book a place for a pre theatre dinner . i may or may not pop in and see Vito and shake the hand of the member of staff that responded to a number of spurious claims made against them . Given that hospitality has suffered so much post covid it would be nice to think that businesses would support one another . (Vito get that coffee machine on i need an espresso after writing this . ) l o l

We ate here on Saturday 20 April. My family and I had a wonderful meal and our waiter was equally as good. He entertained our children and is a credit to the restaurant. When visitingTunbridge Wells again we will definitely eat here. Thank you 😊

We shared a margarita royal between two and it was incredible. The meatball starter was phenomenal and with the perfect amount of sauce. Excellent service and our waiter had a lovely charm. Can't wait to go again.

The spaghetti bolognaise is tasteless, and dry with next to no sauce. I ordered the Italian hummus, and the flatbread was stale, hard and actually made my tooth bleed when I tried to bite down and pull.

I was so happy with my visit, my son is 5 and has autisim and is extremely hard to enjoy a meal out although he loves pizza and dinning out. I was very nervous to try a new place but so glad we did. My son wanted to be a little explorer and the owner was so welcoming allowed him to go to the empty floor to explore whilst we waited for his food, as he just won’t sit still, this helped extremely for his sensory needs. My son was then able to sit down and enjoy his meal. The food portions were very generous and the price for a kids menu is unbeatable for under £10 kids enjoy a 3 course meal! So lovely presented. I also had a calzone and it was delicious! Overall an amazing experience a with an extremely kind and attentive owner. Will most certainly visit again.

First time visited and not disappointed. For drinks I ordered a mojito which was very nice. For mains I had the meat balls with spaghetti. Again very nice. The staff are attentive and the delivery of food was prompt. Would recommend this place to anybody visiting RTW.

We had a lovely meal at Bella Capri, they accepted our last minute booking and accommodated us excellently! We cannot fault our waiter- Vito- we received amazing customer service, extremely friendly and really made our meal so enjoyable, very attentive and went the extra mile! We will definitely return very soon!

This is a must visit if you're in the Tunbridge Wells area. The food was faultless, very fresh, very good ingredients, clearly a well refined chef. The first waiter was amazing, relaxed and on very good form. The second waiter was a bit too intense for our liking, we prefer not to be forced into *lots* of chat when we're spending valuable family time out. Be warned though, not wheelchair or less abled friendly, lots of stairs.

Great atmosphere, accompanied by a great meal. Clementine was very welcoming and generous with the ice cream portion which our children very much enjoyed. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

My partner treated me to dinner here for my birthday on March 6th. First of all, the place was lovely the food was good particularly for the price. However, we were served by a lady who didn’t give us the tap water we asked for, then we didn’t receive a side dish of broccoli we ordered. We then sat with our empty dishes from our main for about half an hour as she walked past and saw them at least twice and didn’t check back once. She did however, manage to find time to stand on her phone in the restaurant and let her colleague do her work for her and she was absolutely lovely. I believe her name was angelik on the bill, who gave us the wrong bill since her colleague messed the tables up and made a table next to us pay what should have been our bill (and was about £30 more than our bill). I hope they get refunded at some point. Overall a lovely place and a good night that was let down by the one waitress not paying any attention or interest sadly.

I came here last week to have some dinner and I had a great experience. The food was unique especially the Tirimasu. Everything tasted fresh. Service was great and on time. Very happy with Bella capri. Definitely need more stores to open.

We went to Bella Capri for family lunch on Valentines day, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and well situated. The food was very disappointing overall. For starters we had spicy prawns and nduja bread which were lovely and well seasoned. For mains we ordered prawn and salmon risotto which was very horribly overcooked to the point we could not feel the rice at all.not good The Crab and lobster ravioli was good. The kids had garlic bread as a starter which was good, the pepperoni pizza was also very good but the cheeseburger was not so great, the beef patty was terrible quality and tasted like it had been in the freezer for a long time. I must say the vanilla ice cream was amazing, very creamy and full of flavour the coffee was also great. The service was very good throughout the waiter was very nice and talkative up till the very end when we decided to not leave a tip then his attitude completely changed towards us leaving a very akward environment and making us feel very uncomfortable to the point we left imediatley. I will definetly not be returning as I felt it was very unprofessional and overwhelming at the very end and the mains were disappointing .

We had an excellent meal at Bella Capri, with excellent food across our table. The atmosphere was fantastic and we had a really pleasant meal celebrating my cousins 18th birthday. Vito in particular provided excellent customer service throughout our meal and his energy and happiness ensured we had lots of laughs. It was my first time here and the atmosphere was nice, it wasn’t too loud and there was nice music playing. I had the calzone which was lovely, I recommend it for anyone coming here. We were served by Vito who was very friendly and welcoming, he also made sure to speak to us throughout our time and was very funny. I think he should be promoted personally!

We have visited Bella Capri a few times for lunch and dinner and have quite liked the food. We visited Bella Capri for breakfast for the first time at approximately 11am on Saturday and have to say that it was a terrible experience. We were the only people in the restaurant to start with so we expected the service to be quite prompt. It took quite some time for our order to be taken and a very long time for the food to arrive. When the food was finally served, it was very cold and not very good at all with snotty eggs, horrible sausages, dry bacon all floating around in a sea of cheap baked beans. Only 2 of the 3 breakfast arrived to start, the 3rd arriving quite some time after, also being cold. We would definitely not recommend Bella Capri for a breakfast experience as the food was very poor indeed. DEFINITELY NOT! We had breakfast at Bella Capri, the review stands.

Spontaneous day out with lunch! Went into the restaurant on a whim as we needed a drink. Food on other tables looked and smelled amazing, so we ordered lunch! Gorgeous building, warm welcome, great food! Slightly nutty but very attentive waiter (Vito). Best Italian food we've had in a long time, and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back next time we are in Tun Wells.

It was my 1st dining experience at Bella Capri’s who recently launch in Twells abd it was a lovely experience. The food was perfectly executed and the staff was very welcoming. I had the Pasta Gorgonzola and the chicken and vegetables were cooked perfectly & the creamy cheesy sauce was 2nd to none that I have tasted before. My sons enjoyed their pizza and their desserts. Our waiter and waitress were both super friendly and they had a ‘nothing was too much trouble’ attitude. I will definitely return. (Families welcome and early in the evening they had no issues with me working on my laptop)

Food was good. Waiter was friendly. We were not in a hurry so the fact that the service was somewhat slow was fine. Additionally we were a table of 12 so a lot of food to prepare. Drinks are expensive I think. Soft drinks are £3.75 so when you add the tip that is over £4 for a can of soft drink. When the bill came there was the automatic 10% tip already added which always annoys me. But overall it is a nice restaurant with a good menu and decent food.

I had a delightful experience at the Bella Capri Italian restaurant. The meatballs and olives for starters, accompanied by garlic bread, were a flavorful and satisfying beginning. The Al Formo pasta for lunch was so generous that I couldn't finish it all, but the attentive staff promptly provided a take-away box. The service was exceptional, with helpful and friendly staff ensuring a memorable dining experience. Recommended

Today me and my family went for a birthday dinner at Bella capri and were served by Vito. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was a 10/10 service from start to finish (even singing happy birthday in Italian). I can’t thank Vito enough for how kind he was and we will definitely be returning in the future. GO FIND THIS GUY HE’S A LEGEND

I had the pepperoni pizza but found it hotter/spicier than expected so had to keep sipping my drink after every mouthful.

Lovely venue and atmosphere, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and attentive, and Vito went out of his way to make sure my young daughter had a lovely time - she enjoyed her meal more than the polar express experience we went to afterwards!

Food was just perfect and very tasty; food was served in perfect time, and it was hot and presented beautifully. Staff were very attentive and so polite.
