Overcooked, soggy chips. Very disappointing

ATTENTION! Ignore all the negative reviews. They are from people who can’t enjoy a meal without booze as it’s a dry restaurant. If you’re searching for a good meal, with excellent service, this is the place.

Really bad service the delivery never turned up. I didn’t know it was collection only restaurant not answering their phones. Terrible service how can you run a business with your phone lines not accepting calls

Was not the best main meals. Lamb dish was tough and just lots and lots and lots of sauce.

So fresh and delicious, they always included a freebie for you to try just can’t be beaten!!

Great food, great customer service. I get my take away and they’ve never disappointed. So happy they are in Penge.

Always great food from Belash and we had a free side dish with our order which was a nice bonus. Food was delivered on time and piping hot.

Food was excellent although curry portion size was too big. Maybe consider a small portion option which I feel might increase trade if prices were reflective of the reduced size.

Quality of the food was fine too expensive portion sizes were very small and they charge me 20p for a bag 50p service charges and £3 delivery totally unacceptable

Stay away it was horrid. Balti was a watery hot hot hot liquid and chicken. Puri had not taste or spices.

I like 'flavourful spices' rather than 'hot spicy' and the Lamb Tikka Rupa Nandini is absolutely delicious. Totally recommended.

Average food quality. The quantities were small and the food was overpriced. The seekh kebab was off and smelt/tasted rotten. Extremely disappointed. Friday night ruined.

My lamb was so hard it made a sound when tapped. The saag was dry AF The paneer was horrid and inedible and no drinks on the menu?

So sad to be leaving this review but I have been ordering from here for a very long time! The food was really watery with no flavour and really small portions.. the food came way to early for it to be fresh very disappointed

My second time ordering from here and just as amazing as the first time absolutely amazing my wife and I are very picky with our Indian restaurants and I think we have just found our place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Sorry but very poor. The curry sauce was more like oil or grease.

Lovely tasty food that arrived piping hot, which was great. Delivery was 10 minutes earlier than expected which was also appreciated. My only little negative is that it didn’t include any free popadoms or onion salad as most other places do when you spend over a certain amount. That said, I would definitely order from again. thank you.

No alcohol or even BYO allowed. However the food is very good and incredibly good value.

Disappointed. Food tasted very bland and contained a large amount of soggy onions. Curries were indistinguishable even though we ordered a hot curry and a medium one.

Very tasty food, had the king prawn delight and the dry Mixed vegetables Which were lovely. Well cooked. My partner had the lamb korma which he enjoyed.

Food was ok, I’d order again for the food and rapid service. The issue was they said no delivery fee on the list when I ordered, Which I was looking for. I ordered ten pounds worth of food, A little snack. When the man arrived he asked for fourteen fifty? Then I realised they had added the fee anyway. So I only had a note, the driver didn’t have change, Obviously.... Ended up paying fifteen pounds! for ten pounds worth of average food, Was not happy.

This is the best indian restaurant in town. Whichever dish we choose it is really tasty and the best!

Arrived on time but wasn’t well cooked. Sheekh kebab fell apart in the box with no structure and the madras was an oily mess.

Best vindaloo and chips in the world. Staff are very friendly and portions are generous. I love hot🔥 food and my vindaloo always comes the way I like it. Their chips are by far the best in Penge and with the vindaloo sauce combination it is perfection on a plate. I tried two alternatives during lockdown as the shop was closed but nobody does a curry like these gentleman do. Highly recommended 🙌

Only thing that let us down - it says they offer a free veg side dish of your choice for orders over £25, which we specified in the comments. This time they forgot to add it, but they have included it previously.

Food was greasy, Rogan Josh was tasteless. Womt be ordering again.

First time ordering from Belash but will be doing so again. The food was delicious and the timing was spot on. The onion bhaji's were seriously greasy and managed to get oil everywhere. Tasty though.

Normally very good, but only ok tody. Wrong curry was delivered. i ordered a lamb tikka chilli masala, but got a lamb bhuna or something similar which was quite bitter and not to my liking.

Good food, very tasty, arrived 5 mins earlier than promised. Larger order so a couple of small freebies thrown in by the restaurant. Would definitely order from here again.

Unfortunately everything was massively under spiced and unseasoned. Really tasteless. Won’t be ordering again. Delivery man was very nice though.

cold bland dry over cooked prawn shazlick 12 qiud for for bland over cooked dry prawns no attempt to keep it hot in freezing temperatures quickly realised it was stone cold and went outside to confront driver who done one quick time bin aint gone gungry though i want my money back

I love the Belash, the best Indian restaurant in the area, and have been going with my daughter for many years. Their delivery service is great, too. I had a very tasty dinner for a good price, without having to go out, as I wasn't well. Highly recommended.

No alcohol but I don't drink. Coca cola is room temperature from a large supermarket bottle.

Either this restaurant is using beef and calling it lamb, or the sheep they're using are extremely beef-like. I don't like attempts at deceiving me, so this is the last time I'll use them.

Quick delivery, everything there that was ordered. The food was of a decent standard generally however the saag paneer, which was priced at £4, appeared to be left overs from a previous dish as it had dried out and there was barely two spoonfuls in the tray.
