Bela's House - Portuguese and Italian restaurant in South Kesteven

Ridiculously good food, we had mains and a dessert. I'd advise listening to what they have to recommend as well!

Had a quick coffee and ham & cheese toastie. Brilliant! Great price, although it is cash only.

Would highly recommend getting the Bifana (pork sandwich) special and the octopus special .

What a charming little place. As an evening guest the staff (there are only 2!) Are incredibly attentive and the food delicious. The Portuguese fish stew was lovely. As was the chocolate mousse.

We visited Bela’s House last night for Valentine’s Day. The food was absolutely incredible. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was relaxing and romantic. We had no criticisms whatsoever and will definitely be travelling an hour from home to visit again. Just fabulous. Thank you xx

Cosy little restaurant, probably max's out around 10 people. Great service, nice atmosphere and lovely home-cooked food. Not an extensive menu but a good selection. Highly recommended.

A little gem in the centre of Grantham - My third or fourth visit to this place over the past fourteen months, and always a warm friendly welcome. The food is always cooked fresh, and delicious, and of good portion size. The Francesinha was just what was needed on a cold winter lunchtime, and if you can still manage it, try one of the fantastic home made desserts.

The most amazing boutique restaurant, the best Portuguese and Italian food we have had in England; and I'm Portuguese from Porto so I know my francesinha Bella's was on point.

This place brings Portuguese sunshine to Grantham. Excellent house wine. Tasty seafood stew. And home made panna cotta to finish it up. Highly, highly recommended.

I had a meal with two friends in Bela's House yesterday. It was so delicious. The vegetarian pasta dish was lovely and the portions are just right. Really nice green wine too . The best I have ever had. Thank you Laura

Wonderful place, small & perfect. The food is superb. Really reasonably priced. Bela (chef/owner) & Celia (host) are friendly & helpful, they really make you feel welcome. On our first visit we had Fish Stew & Pork & Clams for main & then Chocolate Mousse & Panna Cotta for desert. Very very tasty. On our second visit we had Chicken Stroganoff, Salmon Pasta & Garlic bread - really delicious. We cannot speak highly enough of Belas House. Please visit, you won't be disappointed ❤️

What a gem! We went as a family with two small children and feasted on delicious Portuguese food. Everything we ordered was so tasty and authentic, you can tell it is cooked with love! We ordered bacalhau à brás and carne de porco à alentejana and the children absolutely loved it! And for dessert we had the best chocolate mousses ever. Highly recommended!!!

There isn't a great choice of eating places in Grantham, but this is one restaurant you really shouldn't overllook. The cuisine majors on Italian, but there is heavy and welcome Portugeuse influence, with the latter dishes dominating the specials. Prices are extremely reasonable (the Portugeuse house wine is a bargain), service is great, decor is basic but clean and welcoming Very few covers so book ahead - and enjoy. More diners needed!

My friends and I decided to come here after a little trip out and I’m so happy we did! It’s a cute restaurant with an amazing staff member. They were helpful with everything and was just overall lovely! The food was to die for! The meatballs were absolutely gorgeous and I may be begging for the recipe. One friend had a pizza and it looked lovely (tasted amazing too!) but said it was very filling lol! Like all the food :) They accommodated to my friends request and her meal looked beautiful (was the pasta w/ chicken but asked for prawns). And the sauce was delicious! So sad I live so far away otherwise I would come back all the time! But I will definitely be back, to try more food. Would definitely recommend this little independent x

A fabulous place with beautiful food

What a quirky little place this is! Tiny restaurant with only a handful of tables serving Italian and Portuguese dishes. Food was good if a little salty and portions generous. Could do with some background music if I'm being super critical.

I went to this place yesterday after a long journey and a long search in the Google reviews, and I cannot be more than happy I did choose this place. The owner it's a bright soul and how she made us feel like it was our house. Food was outstanding and we had a lovely chat with her. People should fill that place everyday and see how good is the food the service and at an affordable price. Will be back just to see her again and have a great meal. 😀

Me and my wife visited and this was a lovely small independent restaurant. We both had carbonaras and both thought it was possibly the nicest pasta dish we have ever had. Such a lovely family that runs the establishment. This restaurant is a must visit if ever in the Grantham area.

Owner was working alone to prepare our lunchtime meal for 2. Incredible food, really tasty and fresh, great service where you can tell she really cares. Will definitely be returning

My experience was great! The owner was the only person working, but she handled every order and made delicious food with love. You can tell she truly puts her heart into everything she does. I highly recommend.

I stopped at Bela’s House while visiting Grantham and I loved the whole experience. The pasta’s were well made and very tasty, as well as the Tiramisu dessert. Overall a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend it!

This pizza was incredible! The flavors were perfectly balanced and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The service was super friendly and made the experience even better. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted!

I've been to Bela's House 3 times and never left disappointed. This small cosy place is definitely a hidden gem in Grantham. The food iwas absolutely scrumptious and worth every bite, even if it's means being heavily overfed. The food was always absolutely full of taste with a little bit of twist, seems cery hime made, served hot and pretty quickly.The portions are decent. The dessers are divine! I highly recommend the lemoncello cheesecake or tiramisu. Good wine card. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The place also offers breakfast with home made croissants, vegetarian option available.

Had a gorgeous Valentine's lunch here on our vacation. I had the soup and lamb dishes from the special menu and they were the best I've ever tasted.

Excellent intimate small restaurant. Seating for max 14 or so.... If you book a larg -ish group do check your phone when they call to check you are still coming!

I went one evening and only ate two starters. I would like to come back to try the first and second courses too. Small but welcoming place, the girls are Portuguese and lovers of Italian cuisine, so the passion in the dishes they offer should not be missing.

Fabulous food and really delightful friendly service. We went for a work Christmas dinner (in Feb) and they comfortably accommodated 11 of us in the bijou space. Well attended throughout the meal with drinks and garlic bread. Every dish was served beautifully, garnished well and presented superbly. The staff/team are absolutely wonderful, ensuring we were happy and content throughout the meal. Check out the photos of a few example dishes we enjoyed.

Delicious food - friendly and speedy service - will order again. Highly recommend!
