Very very bad service and they discriminate against their customers. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

After a disappointing search along Curry Mile, we opted for this. Ethiopian and Eritrean food had never been on my radar before. It was very different to anything I'd had before. Unusual mix of citrus, heat and sourness. The injera is a genius idea, serving dish and edible scoop in one. Had an Ethiopian beer, Walia (?) which was quite refreshing, and an Eritrean beer, Asmara. Then a Tej (?), a fermented honey drink that tastes like orange squash, and kicks like horse. Finished off with the best coffee I've ever had. A small coffee pot just kept pouring. The hosts were great as well, very helpful and welcoming. Not sure if I'll be regularly eating Ethiopian and Eritrean regularly, but if you want to try something really different, come here. Very reasonably priced, too. 👍👍

A great find on curry mile. There was so much to choose from and we had no real clue what was what. At the recommendation of the lovely staff we opted for the large mixed platter which was LARGE. The tastes were exquisite, some hot, some spicy, some tart, some delicate but all different to the regular curry available on the mile. There was beef, lamb, chicken and many types of veg included in the dishes. Most had lovely thick sauce but one was akin to a dry tandoori type dish, although a completely different spice flavour. The injera bread is used as your cutlery but also soaks up so much flavour you could eat it on its own. There is a great range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. We were treated to the Ethiopian/Eritrean Tej wine which has a honey citrus flavour, is potent and very tasty, a bit like mead. To finish we had the Eritrain coffee ceremony where the coffee beans are roasted fresh, brought out for you to smell and then served. The coffee flowed from the pot for ages, was absolutely beautiful and accompanied by a huge bowl of very slightly sweet popcorn. The staff were all really lovely, helpful and patient. The prices are very reasonable to boot. Mains from £8. Ours was £30 but included 14 dishes! Will definitely visit again when in Manchester. Good restaurant, good staff, good times.
