This is the most outrageous reap of Nigerian keep away. You are over charged from what is on the menu. The meat tasted spoilt the amala was not well cooked.I had an upset stomach after eating. If you love yourself stay away there are other Nigerian restaurants that are better and serve better food at a cheaper prize. Complete waste of money. Thank God I am still alive just for one plate of amala they want to send me to hospital God forbid

Food is nice, service is disappointing. there is one gentlemen who speaks to customers sarcastically and he was also shouting. The lady there was lovely but because of this gentleman behaviour I wouldn’t even order in here.

Food was very tasty. Very reasonable portion. Expensive though. Apart from the friendly voice that took the order....I must say I was disappointed with the service. Nothing special about the atmosphere. To obtain a receipt was an uphill task. The Amala and Ogbono was an answer to prayer with the cold and being away from home. Would visit again.

Delicious plate of amala with egusi and vegetable soup. What would make a man travel over 200 miles Swansea to Manchester? You guess it - good food! In my honest opinion, the local Nigerian food of yoruba extract here is special. I wished they paid me for the special advert. But when you eat special food, na so so talk talk, you go dey recount.

God awful! How could anyone sit in such a place to eat? Food wasn't all that either and why is it so damned expensive. If you're going to charge those kind of prices you need to come better than that and up your game. I told him, if I like what I bought, I'll be back, haven't been back since!

Amazing food, tastes great, and good customer service, at least most of the workers. Good location and atmosphere too.

I went with the reviews hoping this restaurant would be better than the one nearby in Little hulton, Frankly I don't know which is worse after this experience. Tiny egusi soup portion, very dry and hard meat to chew nevermind swallow then the pounded yam was dried out. The picture of the turkey wings was completely different to what was delivered, unbelievable. £43 gone down the drain. Nigerian restaurants come on! YOU CAN DO BETTER!!!

The Jollof rice was like concoction for healing the sick. I drove 25min to buy rubbish. Can’t eat the rice I have to dispose the larger part. I hope they improve. It’s better to be expensive and quality than cheap and less quality. I wish I didn’t post this but can’t just help it cuz I was disappointed.

I had ordered it because it had a lot of recommendations. In retrospect; it seems it has a lot of recommendations because of the Abula, however, that was not what I ordered. I ordered the vegetable egusi and the jollof rice. I also wanted the Moimoi but was informed it was out of stock. Positives; huge food portions and the puff puff was good. Negatives; did not enjoy the food. It tasted really really off. I cannot place exactly why it tasted that way. The Jollof rice felt like rice and stew. I was terribly disappointed.

I have eaten abula in several restaurants in Colchester, London and other places. The abula I ate here in this restaurant was excellent in taste and quality. So I am giving them a high 5.

A good place for delicious African cuisine. I enjoyed the Amala and Abula with assorted meat. The moimoi was top notch too, wish I took more moimoi away. You can dine 🍽 in if you want or order via uber eat. Excellent experience overall 👌.

Rarely do I go out of my way to leave a review but I just have to rave about Imooluwa Restaurant. I recently graduated from the university of Manchester and had family coming in to celebrate with me. I reached out to the restaurant to cater for my graduation because I had ordered from them on Uber eats before and liked their jollof rice. The food was amazing and everyone raved about the catering. The pricing was very reasonable and the customer service was great! I am so happy with the restaurant and glad there were left over because it was just that good. The jollof rice was the star of the show. I wasn’t a big fan of the fried rice but I am a picky eater so that might just be me. The assorted meat and stew was amazing; shaki, beef, chicken, everything was cooked soft and juicy. I defiantly would recommend this restaurant not just for dinner but also for their catering services. Thank you Immoluwa restaurant. My guests and I were very impressed.

The old man there is so discriminative and serve people bills differently as they look. and the food doesn’t worth the price the place is so tight noisy so uncomfortable!!!! I gave one star because there is no half star

The efo riro is to die for. The accompanying stew (omi obe) has that fresh pepper feel you can only get in a yoruba pot in Naija. Great customer service from the manager as well.

The restaurant looked dingy with worn out and broken furniture all around. Decided to stay and see if the food will make up for it but that sure didn't happen. Waited quite a while so they could the exact order yet, was given something beef instead of goat meat. Tasted the food (abula) and it was just bland. Everything about the soup and protein was stale. Even the pepper soup was just pepperish but didn't have the proper seasonings and spices. Worst restaurant experience ever. Would certainly not recommend.

Food was exceptionally tasty and well- portioned. The service quality was very pleasing. However, they can do with a face-lift to make the atmosphere more relaxing.

Great food, I tried the fried yam and grilled fish and also jollof rice and assorted meat. Great meal, great service. I believe they focus on take out rather than dining in.

To be honest, in my history of eating at Nigerian restaurants abroad, this was the best. Very great folks. I came with my girlfriend on a visit to Manchester . You definitely get your money’s worth as the food is quite a lot and the gentleman who attended to us was so great. Food was a bag, very delicious! Customer service was great, we had to wait for our meals to be cooked but the wait is worth it. Restaurant was cold though, no central heating considering it was in winter, portable heaters provided weren't doing the job. Overall i'll give them a 3-4 star. There is room for improvement!

The place is good, delicious meal, but really very pricey, like really expensive. Just a plate of egusi soup, Assorted meat and Eba 18 pounds already gone 🤭😯. So if u have the money, then yeah, why not, go and get delicious Nigerian meals there. For me it is a 4 star.

I have been longing for ewa agonyin and we got it here. Foods are well priced and customer service was good. We also tried jollof rice and poundo. All were good.

Smoke rice, massive portions. The restaurant is dark, not much lights, and heavy environment. I would say to try a Matt paint instead of silk.

The food was very tasty, good portion and the owner was so helpful. I told him that I didn’t want the food to be cold. He was so understanding and wrapped the food in such a way that it remained hot until we got to the hotel and opened them. The only downside is that they don’t deliver, you can only pick up which was a little bit of a pain.

Came across Imo Oluwa by chance as the normal place I get Nigerian food from was shut due to this pandemic. I'm glad I did. I have not looked back since and visit at least 3 times a week. Everything is delicious as if I was back at home. Great customer service and always friendly.
