Go there everytime I'm in town pancake roll 110% staff great always polite and like to chat

Went to Beijing Palace near Holbeach last night, 2 of us were vegetarian. You can order anything on the menu going through 5 courses eat as much as you like for £28.99. Where do I start! The quantity is enough but the quality was awful, the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten starters were probably the best part of the meal but only 3 things for vegetarians. The soup was so salty was like drinking the sea, very poor. The main was disgusting the egg fried rice was crunchy and the curry sauce had a mouldy after taste. The staff were friendly and service was good. The decor was about 20 years out of date. Definitely not worth £28.99

Tasteless food, but portions are ok. Had 2 meals from "chef special" and both where missing chilli and salt so not sire of the chef knows his best...

Stunning restaurant once you get inside. The decor is beautiful! Also, truly incredible food and the Staff are super friendly. Buffet is all freshly made to order rather than just helping yourself off a kitchen top. Unlimited buffet set out in 4 courses (Starter, Soup, Main & Ice Cream for Desert). You have 2 parts to each course & you can have each course as many times as you want. When you want to move to the next course you just advise the staff when they come to clear the table. You can understand why people say it's pricey but by the time you've ate what you can in here & had a few drinks it's worth every penny compared to going to a takeaway. Unfortunately we don't live local but will be back when we pass on our yearly holiday to the broads!

Had an awful time at the Beijing Palace Restaurant. The staff ignored us for ages, and when we finally got seated, they acted like we were a bother. The food took forever and was either cold or overcooked. When we complained, the staff was rude and did nothing to help at all. Overall, a total letdown. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Go somewhere else.

One of the worst restaurant ever been to. The food was awful. Paid £90 for two people and left hungry. Don’t recommend to anyone.

Took my girl we loved it. It's in need of modernising seriously. But food was good.

Dirty toilets, microwaved food leaving a nasty taste. lukewarm food. However served by a pleasant young man. Table napkins threadbare, old chairs springs gone and all for the price of 60 pounds. Come on... Needless to say we won't be slumming it again. Not my kind of palace.

Not a good experience. I was told that the buffet wasn't available to me as I was on my own as a solo diner. I'm not sure why this is relevant for a buffet? The main menu was then ridiculously expensive. It was £27 for one main dish, side of egg fried rice and half a lemonade! The food was below average. Friendly service. Regretfully, I won't return.

Went for mu brother inlaws birthday and has always the food was great . Staff are so lovely and friendly , been a few times and have always enjoyed it

Fantastic restaurant, the atmosphere made it, unhurried and relaxed, the service was better than I could have hoped for, looked after and taken care of and then came some of the best Chinese food I've had for many years! Fresh and piping hot, the way the ordering works you can get literally as much as you want off of each menu meaning you won't go home hungry! 5*****

My wife and I visited tonight for the first time and we were not disappointed! Everything was explained very well to us, the food was amazing and there were lots of options to choose from. The lady who served us gave us great service and was very attentive. The food always arrived very quickly and was so fresh, the chef was really nice too. We look forward to visiting again. Disgusting, been here several times with family for birthdays, came tonite and my grandson only wanted chicken, we were told that he could have this as it would be cheaper than the set child price, £15 for a small crispy chicken, we spent over £150 in there and they charged us for my grandson to just sit at the table £10, the attitude of the staff and i guess the so called manager was disgusting too, was our fave place but we won't be back!! 1 star from us.

Good fresh food, service a bit slow as there was only two waiting staff. They didn't want to serve plane tap water unless you have had an alcoholic drink. The food was good. I enjoyed it.

The food here is very nice. I have only eaten here a few times but it's our takeaway of choice when we do have one. It is reasonably priced and we have always enjoyed it. Accesses off of the A17 before the long Sutton roundabout you can't miss it!

At first I thought an all you can eat for £25.95 was a bit expensive, however it was worth every penny. The food was amazing and cooked to order. Very good service and staff were friendly. Looking forward to round two soon.

Food was ok service was very good the whole place does need a little uplift on the decor. Quite expensive specially when adding drinks I'm to the equation.

A great place for Chinese food,

5 x £25.99 buffet+ coffee and cokes, = £180 bill. Expensive sundries. Needless to say, 1st and last visit.

The food is not as plentiful as it was or as good

It was good food. The price of the buffet was fair for an all you can eat. My order mistaken a few times where by it didn't arrive or they heard your name wrong if it was being put on your tab for the drinks. That was common as it seemed to be the case every time with almost anyone who ordered so wasn't just me. It would make things more efficient if they just gave you a unique number to hold up rather than have to say your name, which is where it was missheard, for your personal tab. Less mistakes made that way I would feel. I would recommended, especially if a big group of you go so there's more to share around at the same time. There were a lot of instructions on the front of the menu if you've never been before so that can be made simpler. I ended up just asking someone who's been before on what to do as I was not going to read a whole A5 page just to know how it's expected to work. Staff were really friendly. I'd go back but watch how much I'd drink as that alone doubled my bill and the drinks menu could have been more on hand as had to ask for one which quickly disappeared with in the group I was with.

We went for my nephew’s 21st and was not impressed. It was very confusing on how they served us. The food was average but the service was not good. For the price we paid would have expected better. We were quoted a price for my 8yr old and 14yr old but they ended up charging us full price when I rang up to query they were very rude and hung up. We will not be going back

Went here a few weeks ago, Did not enjoy the food at all no flavour in the food at all and all tasted reheated, very overpriced total rip of , young boy was a waitress he was lovely on the over hand but defo avoid!

Oh my god!!! Collected £35.30 worth of food.. my partner was eating her chicken with rice and found it to be completely pink in the middle!! Called up and asked for a refund and I turned up with all the food bar the curry sauce and some of the rice to be shouted and sworn at by 4 members of staff in front of the 2 tables of customers and called a liar!! Avoid at ALL costs! Will be reporting to the local council as I have pink chicken still and no doubt will be sick from this!! Utterly disgusting way to run a business.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had it was so bland and overpriced £65 for 2 people, the place is so dated plastic tacky table clothes and freezing cold, I went home and cooked us a meal, never again.

Offered a menu that turned out to be a buffet with 4 courses. Only required a soup and main course which did appeared on the buffet menu Charged over £70. (Did include 2. Soft drinks) Had we gone with the buffet and not eaten the starters or desert, the cost would have been about £48 The choice to either waste food or be overcharged will not encourage a return visit. On the plus side the staff were friendly!

7 of us went all had the fresh cooked bufett. Food was good,hot and tasty. Would go back again

Had several takeaways from here but wow how the price has gone up and the portions have got very small .. still nice food but out priced itself in our opinion… like a lot of others who think the same we won’t be going back … such a shame ..

Hidden gem. Fantastic food and service!! All served hot in good size portions. No pressure to eat fast! Constantly served with a smile. We will be coming back again. 10/10!! So worth the money!!

Been there before, read a couple of bad reviews lately but definitely not the case when we went there, lovely food, attentive staff, prices have gone up but what price hasn't.

Unusual style buffet, you could still try lots of different dishes but I guess without so much waste. What we had was very good.

Re Takeaway only From phoning to collecting was 20 minutes, the food was fresh and packed really well so still nice and hot when we got home, re portions, sizes compared to others was on the small size, in our S&S chicken there was only 2 bits of meat and not a lot of sauce and for £4.50 we got just under half a bowl of crispy seaweed... However it was melt in the mouth delicious which to me taste is the main thing over size so a great meal...

Wow, the worst and I mean worst chinese meal I've ever had, bland, greasy and the crispy beef in honey would have broke a horses teeth. Dissapointed to say the least, especially 2 mains and 1 drink was over £40. Would not recommend at all.

Been using Bejing for takeaways for years always come here because of the good quality food and speedy service. But will not be using them again!! Quality of the food has seriously gone down hill. And the meat in the chow mein had barely anything in chopped up in to tiny cubes!!

Tasty food! There are two menus: an all you can eat one for a fixed price and a standard one with individual dish prices. We went for the all you can eat menu and it was nice. The service was good too. The chef came out to our table and told us all about the food there.

Went to this place with family for birthday meal looked run down and very dated for portions were very small but tasted ok at the end of our meal we got the bill and they wanted to charge the adults priced for the children when we questioned this with staff they were rude flapping there arms around shouting at us we then asked for manager who also came over very aggressively shouting at us so yes stay away they ruined my birthday and upset the small children in our party

We go here for takeaway a couple of times a year. On the whole it's a good place to get food. I've only given the four stars as there has been a steady drop in food quality in recent years and this started a year or so before Covid. The food was exceptional, now it's a solid good.

Run down, dated tableware . Needs a refurb. Very small portions . I chose ribs for a starter and recieved ONE rib ! It states a buffet but it really isn't. Food was luke warm apart from the rice in main course ( server refuses to allow me to have a small bowl with my starter) Not a nice atmosphere and I will not be back unfortunately.

Beautiful fresh food every dish tasted amazing and there was around 11 different dishes ordered fantastic service wish is wasn't so far away staff friendly wasn't kept waiting for drinks etc very clean I will definitely be returning when passing again

Despite bad reviews, I thought we would give it a go anyway . This was a mistake . The place on sight looked quite dated . We were seated by the window which was very chilly . I asked to be moved , this seemed to annoy the server . The portions were very very small and I asked for rice to go with my starter , the lady raised her voice 'no no only mains ' , I lifted my hand to say calm down . My goodness 😳. We were given one paper napkin each at the beginning and not once was it replaced during courses . An uneasy and unpleasant place to eat . I certainly will never be back . Food was luke warm except the rice at the main course .

Absolutely shocking service from here. Collected a takeaway. The rice was dry and cold, prawn toast was burnt, salt and pepper King prawns were cooked to the point that you could barely bite them and the noodles were cold. When rang to explain the rude lady said they can't do a refund and then hung up the phone. Shocking service!

Absolutely amazing place! My family and I ordered a huge order for my 21st birthday as I go there every year and the restaurant were happy to get every ready in the following hour and gave us a free champagne and three bottles of fizzy drinks. Such lovely staff as well, LOVE this place ☺️💗

Expensive! We were over charged by £70 when they tried to charge for 11 adults which included 2 babies and a 5 year old. Food wasn't great either. We've been eating there for the past 20 years but it's gone right down hill with smaller portions and less choice. Drinks really expensive too! Sad to say we wont be eating there again.

Drinks to experience. £2.50 for a fruit shoot for the kids and £ 2.50 for a can of coke I dont think so. Day light robbery.

Excellent food lovely helpful staff

Returning customers once again. Beautiful freshly cooked food, some new options, and as expected, full of flavour. Staff look after you and refill drinks and food as you need. Huge selection of options on the menu, but once you end that course and move on, there is no going back. Can you make it to the Ice Cream course?

Absolutely amazing. The staff are all super polite and friendly, and the food, well that's just delicious... 5 courses, all came out hot and absolutely delicious, I cannot fault this place one bit. I Have been several times but this was my 40th birthday meal a special night and they didn't disappoint. I will, of course be going back. The boss comes round to talk to everyone too, he is a very friendly and funny guy, happy to help anybody and quick to ask if anyone needs anything.
