Had a great visit. I especially liked the chocolate fountain and the cream cake with the nuts on top. Reminds me of bea sting cake in Germany. Friendly staff. :) Recommended.

Can't get enough of this place although no crispy seaweed available here unlike in Sighthill

Well, that's gone up since I last visited a Beijing Banquet! (A while ago right enough) £22.99 on a Sunday evening Food good and plenty of it. Service for drinks a bit slow and a lot of kids 🙉

Arrived for our meal & a staff member was smoking right outside the entrance door which resulted in our family having to walk through cigarette smoke. We were sat down at the table & immediately asked for our drink order, weren’t given the chance to look at the menu. Drinks took around 20 minutes to arrive & were wrong, waitress didn’t look impressed & it took a good few minutes to explain this. Staff were rude & bumped into my heavily pregnant daughter on more than one occasion. When it came to pay the bill there was a queue & the member of staff was offered help by two other colleagues to which he was extremely rude towards. I can’t fault the food but the whole experience was not good.

Great food, tasty hot and lots of choices. Wee bit music in the background would enhance the experience - overall great and will definitely be back to visit.

Amazing as always love this place

The food was decent and the staff seemed friendly, although there were a couple dishes that should be pre-cut (e.g. customers were using their bare hands to tear pieces of pizza for themselves, leaving behind the rest of the pizza they handled). A few dishes were either empty or had been out for too long, and were dry from being on the warmer too long, but this is to be expected from time to time as not everything was freshly cooked and put out at the same time. Considering it's a buffet, table service isn't typically necessary, but we didn't actually see anyone aside from when we were initially seated which I thought was strange but it didn't affect my overall satisfaction. The food was better than most other restaurants I've visited in the area and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend, and will visit again, but hope to see a few small improvements in the future.

Had previous pre-COVID experience of the sister restaurant in Paisley so it was good to be able to visit this location. Food, service, atmosphere all superb- very highly recommended

Quite satisfied, the food is not as Westernized as Chinese food than expected. It's called fried squid tube, and the shrimp is worth trying. The Xingzhou rice has some surprises, the freshly baked pizza is not to be missed, the shredded bananas are delicious, and there are plenty of parking spaces. On weekdays, the lunch and dinner markets are more popular, changing the perception of Westerners' Chinese food.

The food is delicious and the stuff very friendly. It’s a nice place to visit.

Absolutely no meat free options other than rice or spring rolls which never stated they were vegetarian, will not be going back any time soon

Manager was horrible and argumentative when we quietly told them about the cold dry food and how we were not going to pay £40 between us for half a plate of inedible food. They kicked off and brought the staff team over trying to berate us while telling us they’ve “never had a complaint”. Wouldn’t ever go back, sighthill was much better.

This was a very bad start at this restaurant as a small ginger lady I think the name was Millie I’m not too sure but she came over to me with an attitude and told me I need to stop eating and to go gym because I’m getting a bit plump and I need two seats I really felt hurt by this please have a word.

Food and staff were fantastic. Very small food area though, was difficult to get near anything or walk through to get to the toilets or exits as it was busy and very crammed together

Food is good value but bit of a nightmare with regards payment. When a large group we had to pay in advance because we wanted to split bill. No biggie but more sort of chased out at 9pm. So don't expect anything later. Food is good though

We booked a table a 7:30 but by 8:00 the food was nearly gone only 4 of 5 things left. £30 each on a table of 5… and it was Friday night.

Eat as much as you can Chinese lovely food and a dessert bar well worth visiting, just make sure you ask for the refillable drinks

If you want to guarantee you get the WRONG ORDER, Then order food from Beijing banquet. They consistently send the wrong food for delivery and then when you call them asking to correct it they just say "we can't do anything just get a refund from just eat and reorder..." because 2 delivery charges and 2x40min delivery times is more than okay with them. Even when you leave an additional note explaining exactly what you want they still get it wrong... frankly it's almost unbelievably bad. Clearly incompetent kitchen staff who don't know their own food or cannot read, has to be one or the other. It's a crying shame as well because the food is actually decent... you just never get what you order.

Massly produced processed food that was cold

Truly dreadful experience. Food was ok, nothing special but as expected. HOWEVER, 6 hours later started having diarrhoea. 7 times in 7 hours. I had plenty time to Google symptoms. Told restaurant next day and they point blank refused to accept they had not kept food at correct temperature. There is no doubt they made me ill. I reported them to Environmental Health.

Very nice food, a bit smaller than some Beijing banquets I have been to, meaning the choice wasn't as great as others but the quality was great from what was there.

Ordered online, still waiting after 2 hours. The restaurant pointing fingers at Just Eat and not willing to help us saying that Just Eat still needs to assign a driver (after 2 hours wait) and it is not the restaurant's fault that the food has ot arrived after 2 hours wait

Order for delivery and not gotten half of what I’ve ordered. Called to talk to the manager who couldn’t care less, told me to just get my money back through just eat. I’d rather get what I paid for, really not hard to do. Seriously suggest going somewhere else. The food I ended up getting was disgusting and cold.

meat was very strange consistency. No bite to it. This was my first and last visit to this one. We usually go to the Sighthill onr and love it. It was cramped too. Much less choice compared to Sighthill. Can't fault the servers.

The food was tasteless, bland and had hardly any options. When this was brought up we were told this was the first ever complaint and was not given a discount or anything. Avoid in my opinion.

This is an "all you can eat" buffet style restaurant. The food is well cooked and there is a wide variety available including aromatic duck and pancakes, spiced dishes and plain dishes. Vegetarian options are limited.

Absolutely delightful find. As much as you can eat for one price. Delicious food, hot and frequently replenished. Wide range of choices. Used dishes cleared quickly by smiling friendly staff. Only unpleasantness, was watching unattended children lift and put back food from their plates. Not restaurant fault but spoils enjoyment of meal.

Our family of 12 dined here on Boxing Day. The staff were extremely friendly and available. The food was to a very high standard for a buffet with plenty of choice and always enough there. We will definitely return.

There were 10 of us and we all found the food was not hot in some cases it was cold. Very disappointed as I reccomend this restaurant to my friends. Also the staff that took away the food hardly spoke English and hounded us all the time watching what we were eating

This place is a rip off my granddaughter went on Monday night with friends for Christmas meal 18/12/23 she is only 13 years old and her friend is 13 years also her friend was charged for a kids meal and my granddaughter was charged for a adult meal because she was 2 inches above their hight limit £14.99 for kids meal £24.99 for adult meal £10.00 more for the sake of being 2 inches think this is discrimination against tall people

Freezing cold when we visited. People sitting with coats on, other customers also complaining. Food also lukewarm.

Had afabulas night. Food was fresh and hot and really really good. Very good selection to choose from.

So where do I start we were there on Wednesday for our daughter’s birthday. Upon entering they made the whole group pay for there meal before even being seated and also the waiter was right in my face saying quite rude things about paying.Any of the group that wanted to go to toilet or for cigarette they were to ask permission before they left. The way we were treated was appalling and we didn’t get seated together when I asked when I phoned. Would not recommend if that’s the way they treat people.

Not bad experience, all you can eat food

The food was lovely but unfortunately the restaurant was freezing cold. Lots of people going to the buffet with their coats on. The heating clearly wasn't working and my elderly parents were freezing. We mentioned this a few times from the start but there is clear a fault with the heating system.

It was a spur of the moment. the food was fresh and a good choice. to finish it off ice cream and cheesecake 😋

Have been twice now. The food is fresh and full of flavour. The staff are friendly and attentive. Plates are cleared quickly and drinks ordered the moment we were sitting down. It doesn't suffer the bland same taste across all dishes that some other world buffet restaurants. Would highly recommend to those who like Chinese food. There's also basics for the kids, pizza / pasta

Second time being there , thought food would be better but so disappointed food wasn’t good didn’t enjoy it one bit , also was shocked to see when people phone in for orders they were taking food from buffet been lying there for while , i would be wanting it fresh specially for take aways absolutely shocking.

Not a nice experience, seating very cramped trying to get a much people in and food nothing exciting same as a take away. Cant understand why the kids need to be measured before they can eat. Nothing I would recommend.

Reasonable all you can eat Chinese restaurant. Wheelchair accessible and staff have taken notice of walking sticks and seat people at more convenient tables.

Hey I was in last night and although the food was great! No complaints but my 13 year old son got charged the price of a adult because of his height. Which is totally I find this totally out of order .

Good value, large selection of food

Just discovered this place - we'll be back. Everything you would expect in a Chinese Buffet, and more! Some non Chinese food on offer also (pizzas, pasta etc) which might be great for kids (or adults!) if they are not overly keen on the Chinese food. Service was great; food was plentiful, varied, and delicious, and all for £20 including our refillable drinks, which helped keep the drinks cost down.

Having read some previous reviews I was nervous about what the food would be like. We went for my birthday lunch and arrived at the opening time of 12pm. On arrival we were warmly welcomed. The food was all hot and quickly replaced when it ran out. Options were extensive across starters, mains, rices, European options and puddings. E.g. for European foods there were two pizzas, two pastas, French fries etc. The food was fresh, super tasty and made for a wonderful buffet. The hardest part was slowing the kids down and not speeding through the food! Personally, I would say ignore the negative reviews and enjoy the experience - I will certainly be back!

It was a good experience for my birthday. The plate taking away Servia was speedy and smooth. The food was a bit cold. They charged me 22 pounds more than was meant to.

Got really busy,then the waiters started filling tubs for just eat orders often emptying the trays ,if you're vegetarian and like Chinese forget it mostly chicken,beef ,duck even in the rice and noodles ,for 2 with unlimited drink was £51

We’ve been here loads of times, always at lunchtime, and it’s always been great. However, as someone who doesn’t eat meat, I always have the battered fish, prawns and omelette/ foo yung. None were out yesterday so my husband asked and was told that they don’t do these at lunchtime (well, you used to because that when I’ve had them each time!) and was told that if I needed eggs I could get them from the salad bar. Really? I’m going to replace foo yung with a cold, hard boiled egg? Come on BB, you do plenty of starters for non meat eaters but absolutely no mains. You used to say that you’d make them if you asked for them but to be told to get a cold egg from the salad bar is not nice for regular customers.

This was the first time i had ever been here. The food was awesome. I will definitely go back.

Hoping to enjoy a social night out with my family & friends but i believe it is in the hands of different owners or directors. Big changes from the past i.e. food not cooked properly either over cooked or under coaked or just cold or warm.Over priced especially with charging extra for your height requirements totally ridiculous but true.I have been in business over fifty years,people will vote with there feet .The directors have forgotten people are not stupid & there is a choice of eateries in edinburgh .These premises will close if not in months but certanly in a few years.

Loved it before lockdown. Now looked like most dishes were sailing in oil.had a plate to start followed by a plate of salad.

I ate here with my friend on Friday 5th May lunchtime we went in at 12 so food should have been hot it was Luke warm at best. On leaving the restaurant at 1.20 I started to feel unwell I drove home and only just made it home before becoming very unwell with diarrhoea and vomiting I had a further 4 episodes! I emailed the Danderhall Bejjing banquet explaining my situation and asking if anybody else was ill and could they please contact me re this experience to date I have heard nothing I also phoned asking to speak to a manager and was told no manager available?!

The food is good and chips have improved a lot as I think they were double cooked. Not actually had chips as good as that at a buffet before. All the Chinese food tasted good that I tried. The desserts looked good but the cakes seem to lack flavour often. The buffet price keeps going up and is now £20 + £4 for refill, so is expensive. I won't be back for a few years because of this, unfortunately.
