Amazingly friendly atmosphere, the food was great, had quite a few weeks in Scotland for work and Rachel, Nicole and Dariel couldn’t have been any better. Great with customers, couldn’t have asked for any more

Really enjoyed my stay, from coming here the staff were fantastic, very welcoming, food was really nice. A women I think was called Rachel was absolutely fantastic at her job so welcoming very professional with other members of staff and the customers credit to the company thank you for a very pleasant stay here

I was in a hurry but also needed a gluten free option. Charlotte greeted me in a happy and welcoming manor, understood my requirements and seated me and took my order immediately. I was seated and then dealt with by Rachel M who was also great. This was a great experience and the staff were fantastic. Oh and the food was great too. My family and I had the pleasure of being served by Charlotte, who was an excellent server. She was welcoming, helpful, and made our experience so enjoyable. By far, this has been the best service we’ve received since we arrived for our holiday from Australia. Overall, staff were lovely and food was awesome. Highly recommend

We had a delicious meal at Black Bear. The food and service is excellent. The staff were so attentive and friendly which was lovely. Nicole and Kathy served us and they were so chatty and made us feel so welcome. I had steak which was perfectly cooked and my husband had mixed grill which was very tasty. Highly recommend for a great meal and excellent service

We were out for a birthday dinner and we had great time. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in and never felt rushed. Our server Holly was wonderful and deserves a big shout out. The food all tasted great and didn’t take too long to arrive at the table.

I come here on a regular basis but I came in this morning and was very disappointed waited over an hour debbie was lovely apologising profusely but when we eventually it was burnt sausage dried eggs and bacon wasn't up to normal standards it was extre busy due to it being a bank holiday but it hasn't put me of as I have been loads staff are lovely and usually food is aswell felt they were understaffed today

I have been to this restaurant many times, today was aweful, Debbie waiter apologised constantly for the delay. 1hr 30mins for breakfast. Burnt sausage, leather bacon worst breakfast , customers walked out. The company or restaurant won’t read this so be warned don’t go there on a bank holiday, in for breakfast at 10 out at 12 dreadful.

Nicole is a credit to the beefeater team , she was very friendly and well mannered, always asking if the food was okay and if I needed anymore drinks . Sorry I didn’t have any change for a tip 🤦‍♂️ I was just off a mountain so I had a big appetite so went with the 3 course menu. The Calamari was lovely and unusual as when I get it elsewhere it’s not usually spicy but I really enjoyed it and would definitely order again. The Fish was massive and the onion rings and macaroni were the perfect side dishes 😆. Finished off with dessert. Overall it was great value for money and they are constantly running offers

Think this will be our new go to for food and drinks, absolutely love the service in here even when it’s super busy the staff are so helpful and accommodating, such a nice vibe from them all. The food is absolutely beautiful total comfort food the steak is cooked exactly how you ask for it and they easily accommodate any changes you ask for to the meal great for fussy eaters like myself !!

Very welcoming atmosphere, extremely pleasant and friendly staff who were warm and helpful hot breakfast was fresh and tasty.

We had a lovely meal and although the restaurant was extremely busy Rachel our waitress made us feel welcome and treated our family well. We were a family group of 4 and everyone enjoyed the evening

Amazing experience for our evening meal, catherine and wee kirsty were so accommodating with my daughter and made her feel important and special making time to listen and talk to her, the food and drinks were great, good value and just a lovely atmosphere . Our meal was absolutely delicious. The lady who served us (may be Leigh-An) was so lovely and very helpful with my 2 year old. Chicken gougons and mushrooms to start - they were soo nice. Then two fillet steaks for mains. The steak wasn't to my liking at first.. to be honest I should have been clearer about how I wanted it cooked. However they were more than happy to help, and it came perfect!We come here often and never have any complaints.

We went here for our wee boys 3rd birthday dinner and had an excellent time. The staff are beyond excellent, the food was fabulous and the decor is lovely. We both ordered burgers (both delicious) and had large portions as usual (like pre-covid). It’s the lovely staff that make this place so special. I visit the restaurant regularly, it's a great place for a burger and a catch up. The food isn't anything super fancy but it's always well prepared, hot, fresh and tasty (the burgers are particularly good). All the staff are lovely, special mention goes to our regular server Allison who aways takes brilliant care of us.

Our family have always loved coming here for breakfast so as we were allowed into restaurants etc after lockdowns we chose here. My sister and I chose to book and the food was as delicious as ever. Unfortunately the buffet isn’t open again yet but we were able to order fruit & yoghurt as well as cereal. Then we had our hot breakfast, you can choose as many of each item as you require , yummy. We can’t wait to get back again with our dad.
