We had eaten here before when staying at the Premier Inn and had an ok meal with great service. This time it was a different story - noisy, grubby tables, chairs and carpets and poor service. Our food was only just adequate and we would not return here under any circumstances. The staff appeared disinterested, the wait for food was really long and there were no apologies. The only time I’d eat here again is for breakfast, which was good, lots of choice and fresh food. But again, the server appeared more interested in chatting to the cook.

Omg this has to be the best beefeater we've visited, meals always exceptional and beyond, served by Vicki who is so friendly, professional and patient, can't wait to go back go weekly if not more often, always same exceptional service

Just had our Tea here and have to say one of the worst experiences ever!!! What’s going on We only had salmon for the money it was disgusting , we ordered a side of Broccoli which was stone cold, and obviously taken off our bill . The meal it self was terrible , when we said about the salmon waiter said yes we have had issues ….. Why on earth serve it . Sad to say won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend . Sorry not good enough!!!!

Beefeater restaurants are a little more expensive than similar restaurants, but the food quality makes it worth every penny. Great menu full of really tasty food, and Doombar on draught 😀 Friendly and smiley staff, always make it a pleasurable evening.

I would highly recommend this place, the staff are incredible, my particular waitress Khia, made me a beautiful Vegan Creme Egg sudae dessert which was so tasty. The Breakfast's are too good to miss and excellent value for money too.

tonight i dined at the barn ive been here a couple of times before and has always been such amazing service, mine and my partners server was kiah tonight and she was brilliant was so attentive and bubbly, nothing was to much trouble for her my partner is a very fussy eater and kiah went out of her way to makesure everything he ask was done! amazing service, amazing dinner and pudding will definitely be coming back! thank you kiah!

I went in the bar for a drink and there were plenty of tables to sit at...the lady that served me was very attentive and I think her name was Tracy...I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Today we visited the Barn Beefeater.The manager needs to get his act together! A little wait when to arrived ,ok. .The waitress was lovely the restaurant was clean especially the cutlery ,good start. I had a birthday voucher for a main meal,I ordered gammon steak chips and peas.£12.95.(not the most expensive item on the menu ,as I could have opted for steak .)My husband had Salmon @£17.95??( no voucher for him) Quite honestly we thought it was more like a starter.The salmon wasn't large I'd say a little on the small size for the price.With that came a portion of chips and a palm full of rocket ,that was it,unbelievable.!!! I complained and the waitress threw in a small salad which was not included in the meal ,it was either chips ,or salad, what's a small salad of tomato lettuce mayonnaise cost .? Not once did the manager come over and talk to us it was left to this poor waitress to sort out. When we received the bill ,they did however.enter the dearest meal as the voucher meal ,so they redeemed themselves at the end,however,it did leave a nasty taste so won't be returning. Why is it everyone wants to rip us off!!We gave it 3 ticks but that's down to the waitress being so pleasant otherwise it would have been less.

We were a large group of 20 people, service was very good, food hot and tasty. All came out at the same time which must of been a challenge for the chef. Mainly everyone chose from the Festive menu as good value for money £19.95 for 2 courses or £22.95 for 3 courses. Our waitress was very organised and helpful. We split the bill into smaller family groups, all of this was no trouble and went smoothly. All in all would definitely recommend. Also given a 25% voucher to use on another visit,

I would highly recommend The Barn. I booked here for a xmas family meal originally 16 then 2 hours before we were due to arrive 3 more members wanted to be added. They did without question. The table was perfect we were altogether. The food was delicious. All came out at the same time. The service was fantastic. Billie was looking after us she gave us excellent table service and there was a lot of us. Will be booking same time next year. Thank you again.

Nice food atmosphere and staff, especially Kiah and Lorraine who went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my experience here, these two was exceptional not just with me but everyone around even under immense pressure when busy, they are a credit to this beefeater restaurant
