Visited here for lunch on a long bike ride today. The staff were lovely and let us take our bikes through the back gate so we could see them whilst we ate. Excellent service and very tasty baguettes. Perfect lunch spot, would highly recommend!

Booked a table for two, travelled for an hour in anticipation of a nice lunch. Arrived early, not a problem. Was seated immediately and given menus, all was well other than the wobbly table. Been before so request wedges - every tables wobbles. You would expect that the owner would sort this out as a wobbly table anyone’s every visitor! We then waited 30 minutes to be served, bearing in mind that not all tables were occupied. Eventually my stilton and leek quiche arrived. Nice and hot and looked delicious. I am a seasoned stilton eater but I did not enjoy or indeed finish my meal. It was rank, like the rind of the cheese had been used. On departure we were asked if everything was OK. We replied that we didn’t like the quiche and the server laughed yes, laughed at us. The server wasn’t at all interested in why we didn’t like the food, didn’t ask further questions and continued to find it amusing whilst we paid our hard earnt cash. We would fully recommend Louth as a Saturday shopping experience but do not choose this place to eat - on walking around the town there are plenty of other good places to eat and spend your money…..

We wanted breakfast as we had been on the road for two hours and were very hungry. However we were disappointed with the food. The bacon was rock hard, and could not eat it with a knife and fork. We felt it was expensive too. £26.90 for 2 small breakfasts and 2 lattes. I usually pay half this amount at home for larger breakfasts .

The place looks nice but the cafe does not have enough staff , service is slow and we have been twice where we walked out after 10 minutes as no one interacted with us or said they would be with us shortly , or anything, they seem to have a few favourite customers and ignore others , very odd ! It should be our go to place but after 3 disappointing episode , we probably won’t try it again

My wife and I popped in for a coffee. There are loads of places doing “proper” coffee at approximately £3. That is standard. I do however find that many times the coffee is disappointing. Not so at Beaumonts….the coffee (latte) was as good as I’ve ever had, excellent! When leaving I decided to get a takeaway sandwich, I ordered a simple ham cheese salad on brown baguette. It literally couldn’t have been nicer, definitely one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Well done. Keep up the good work.

We were seated reasonably quickly but no menus were provided & although we were constantly walked past by staff, no one ever returned to us. After awhile the heat of our designated seats just inside the doors became unbearable so we asked for a table move to the shade. We had to wait a few minutes for this & then a further 5 minutes on a Menu was brought but still no drinks order taken. We remained quite relaxed about the matter but having further been ignored and at least half an hour of waiting we gave up & left. The lady in the shop thanked us for our custom at which point we advised her we had never been served. The food did look nice but it was apparent from our experience & watching service as a whole that this eatery was quite disorganised 'front of house' wise. Such a shame.

I arranged to meet in the cafe and I was impressed as soon as I walked in. Our friend was already waiting but apparently my booking had been missed, nevertheless we had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely amazing. 3 of us had the sourdough toast loaded with mushrooms in a Stilton sauce. It was absolutely delicious and made a refreshing change. The fourth guest had a build your own breakfast which was also delicious. Will definitely be arranging another brunch there very soon. The staff were very professional and polite. The room a bright and really wished I had booked a table outside

This cozy deli on the edge of town has left the best impressions on me and my friend. Delicious dishes with a fabulous choice, well priced and beautiful presentation. The ambience is very welcoming and the staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed our couple of hours. What’s makes it even better, Beaumonts is licenced to sell alcohol. So a lovely chilled glass of fizz with our meal went down really well. Will continue to come back again and again.

I have enjoyed three excellent visits to Beaumont's cafe courtyard in the past few days. I had previously contacted them to enquire about their bookings policy - you can reserve a table or just turn up - and found Kim's replies to be friendly and efficient. I then visited for coffee & cake, noting that this was a deservedly popular venue; I consequently rang ahead on the two occasions I wanted to return for lunch. Of particular note would be the prawn jacket potato; however, all diners seemed happy with their food. There is a convivial vibe to the courtyard, set beneath St. James's spire, and it really is a gem.

Attractive place, delightful deli food, good range of produce - though sadly much narrower than the McLeod's deli that preceded it. The cafe is a lovely sunny patio, hidden away at the back, with a great view of the loveliest church in the county. Try the quiches, foreign cheeses, ranges of drinks etc. The staff are lovely, helpful, but terribly, terribly slow. Every time I visit, it seems it is everyone's first day, no one knows where anything is, what it costs, how to ring it up on the till. The waitress service in the cafe is even more glacial. Hence the title of the review.

Stumbled across Beaumont's before they opened the cafe last year. Whenever we travel up to Yorkshire from Norfolk we make a point of stopping for a coffee/lunch/tea/lunch. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, while the food and drinks are always great too. Mackerel pate on sourdough was a lovely light lunch - plentiful pate which was delicious. On the way up a couple of days earlier the sausage roll had lovely pastry, was warmed and flavoured with sage. If you're in a car there are spaces for 2 outside the front door - for 30mins - so long enough for a coffee.

I had to give this wonderful deli and cafe a shout out. I was passing through Louth, and delighted by a wonderful oatmilk latte (i am lactose intolerant and oatmilk makes much the best non dairy latte in my view). I also the most divine pear and almond frangipane which is still making me smile: perfectly made, crisp, very short sweet pastry (proper pâté brisée), real almonds and not almond essence. I had been wanting to make a winter treat like this - and there it was. These people are serious about food, care about their customers. What a treat and what a find, and what a reason to return to Louth and explore the rest of the menu.

All very hungry there were plenty of options to choose from and even the option to build your own breakfast which was great for my daughter who wouldn’t eat a full breakfast but would still like certain items! The staff were lovely, the service was quick and the food was delicious! Extra shoutout to the iced latte and the big buts breakfast. It was amazing! After having had a fantastic experience here midweek during the summer, we promised ourselves we would be back for Sunday dinner. We booked by email, which was confirmed within minutes, Howe when we arrived there was no record of the booking. I was able to find the confirmation email. We were told that we could be accommodated but it would have to be in the bar area as there were 3 other bookings which already had restaurant tables reserved. We were advised to pick a table and they would set it up for us. We showed them where we would like to sit and waited for someone to bring some seating to the table. After 10 minutes we were still standing so found a different table which had seats in place. (We had already informed them that my husband was recovering from a broken ankle) Eventually the waitress came and gave us cutlery and placemats but no salt and pepper. She took our meat orders and I asked whether the veg would include cauliflower cheese, as I would like to not have it, as I have an allergy/intolerance. We waited a further half an hour for our meals, which came with the vegetables served on a tray, including the cauliflower cheese. There was only one spoon which was resting in the cheese sauce so I had to request another one. I then dished myself up a spoonful of swede/carrot mash and one broccoli floret. I did try to dish up some cabbage but found that when lifted from the plate, the cabbage came out from under the cauliflower cheese and covered in the sauce, so I had to not have cabbage. After the meal, the waitress came to clear the table. She dropped some vegetables on the tablecloth and asked if we wanted puddings to which I responded yes. After waiting for 38 minutes with no sign of the waitress to clean the table or take our pudding order, we decided to leave. On taking our payment the bar staff asked if everything had been ok, so I mentioned the above. He simply said, ‘sorry about that ‘but the mains were ok?’ I chose not to continue with the conversation, as my husband had overheard the barman say that he was going to rip someone’s head off. We are really disappointed as we had been telling everyone about how good our experience in the summer was. To top it all, there was a very large dog in the area which smelled strongly and a group of young children also came and used the pool table right next to us, despite there being a notice advising that nobody under 16 was allowed to use it. Another customer did point it out but was ignored. One or two little things we could have overlooked/forgiven but unfortunately there were too many today and we won’t be back

An unassuming little place that offers a friendly welcome and excellent, attentive service. It's got a cosy, slightly bio/eco feeling with very interesting plants and an insect hotel outside the door. Menu is limited but more than adequate for a light lunch or afternoon tea. Nice music playing unobtrusively in the background too. A really great touch is their bottomless cup for tea or coffee. Blink and you'll miss this place as you drive along the busy and fast A52 between Boston and Skegness. It's on a cross-roads just after the main Friskney village turn-off travelling NE. But DON'T miss it because it really is a worthwhile pit-stop. Opposite, down the lane towards the Wash, there is some brilliant wild walking.
