Beach Street in Suffolk Coastal

Less choice of food than when we came last summer but appreciate this may change later as is only May. Enjoyed our Thai meals, beer, music and general atmosphere and would recommend for a different experience.

What an awsome place if you have a spare few hrs you should visit it for sure, the food atmosphere and buzz about the place is great 👍

Beach Street, FelixStowe Suffolk , it's a lovely day out to be beside the seaside. It has everything. Food arcade ice creams fish shop a bar. Lots of different stalls. Lots of shops. It's clean and tidy. It's a nice atmosphere. It's a very nice place to go when you're in phoenix stone

Wok Wraps & Pizza are both amazingly nice A few domes to sit in Arcades Ice cream Slush and a Big Wheel ride next to the sea

Carlos is a very nice guy, knows his stuff and gave a very good trim highly recommend 👍🏼

Great spot if you want to try some decent street food. Patty Macs is certainly worth a visit.

Visited with a few people on Saturday 19 April and had an incredible time. Great choice of food and drink venues, some fantastic independent shops and the DJ playing that day was phenomenal. Very accessible place right off the beach. Plenty of seating throughout so you can get your food/drink wherever you prefer and sit wherever you like. Even a few domes and heaters spread throughout to keep you warm when it’s a little chilly. Highly recommend a visit for a chilled day or evening out.

Great place and atmosphere always adding new places

Visited on a Sunday evening with grandchildren and family , was a little cold but food was good and we sat in one of the pods which was great as kept the cold out and kids really enjoyed it

We love visiting Beach Street Felixstowe! The atmosphere is great, and it’s a fantastic place to relax by the sea with a unique mix of shops and food options. However, we’ve noticed that some of the food places could be better prepared, especially during busy times. A bit more organization would make the experience even better. Still, it’s a great spot, and we’ll definitely be back!

Lots of different types of street food

Lovely range of vendors I especially like the pizza here it is top notch. Service can be a bit slow at some places but to be expected with street food.

Not the best fish and chips and expensive

So good! Choice is great and you can get a beer.

A great spot for food/drink festivals, live music and djs plus the site is completely accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs which is a real plus for myself who uses a walking cane. A thriving hub full of independent shop traders/facilitators and creatives. From art, high quality food and drink outlets to finding that unique gift for a birthday... The support you show goes a long way for independent traders so always make sure you show love whenever you can. This space continues to grow and thrive as time goes on. I love that more seating areas have been introduced which are either sheltered or heated. A nice feature if the weather is still cold and a little wet! During the warmer months, this space is completely full of activity. A place to be and definitely somewhere where I will always show my support and visit no matter the weather.

There is a good choice of food available along with a small market on a Sunday

FADES- Carlos and Logan are both fantastic barbers, highly recommend! My son has autism and has always struggled having his hair cut. Since he’s been going to Fades he now asks for a hair cut every month! Carlos and Logan both make him feel so at ease that he’s confident walking in and sitting in the chair alone too!

Lucas has been going to Carlos since very young. Brilliant great atmosphere don't go as much as lucas 18 but do miss our chats lol

Just going around market and coffees, not much open before 10am.

Lovely variety of small shops and cafes,bright on the beach front. Very interesting and intriguing stalls and pods for enjoying your snack or coffee. Parking available on the road and surrounding streets.

Never been before and I have to say it's one of the nicest places I've been really clean and lots of fun for the kids and so much food choice, come home feeling really happy a memorable day

Love this area in Felixstowe. There are many bars and cafes and shops. Good vibes and tasty food and drinks.

There's so many things going on and so much choice for entertainment. It's great for people young and old.

Beach street is made up of tiny shops and food outlets housed in reworked shopping containers, little chalets and small buildings. It's full of little gems, hosts regular events including outdoor cinema through the summer and is well worth a visit. There is free parking round and about and a paid car park with electric charging points a couple of streets over.

Very disappointed in the whole thing I'm afraid. Visited today, on market day, still not over impressed, but it was busier than last time.

Great place for a bite to eat and really interesting little shops. Bit of a Scooby Doo vibe if (like me) you can still picture the fairground... the old Ghost Train is now a great food place for example. I would definitely recommend a visit if you like quirky shops and like to support local business

Lots of small independent places to eat. Lots of food choices.

Went to eat, had mac and cheese. Was really yummy. Served by nice, friendly, happy staff. Took a giant pizza home as well, which was also very yummy. Thankyou beach street.

The fish and chipd was tasty but I had to wait quite long ti get it after ordering.

Decent load of shops In the container area, still some lack luster shops in the old buildings.

The baby change toilet is absolutely tiny. Majorly stressed me out :(

Had a quite average beef burrito, in Casa Latina: mostly rice. Not bad, just underwhelming.

This is quite an underrated place. The XL pizzas are a little costly but gorgeous. The burgers are yum... the food choice is so good. Toilets are easily accessible and were clean. Some lovely little shops

Food and shops are amazing. It's a really good place to go for all the family

Nice idea setup. There is plenty of choice of different types of food. The only downside is that everything seems compact to the entrance. As we ate, we could look to the far end, and there didn't seem to be much there. Hopefully, they can expand more. Great job of reinventing the area.

What a great venue. I only wish we had the weather to use it ALL year around.

Fish and chips on seafront where really disapointing

Too much closed, i visited on a weekday 20/08/24 round the back there are units all around the cinema which apart from 2 were all close ans 1 of them wasnt open but having work done . the units at the front offering all sorts of food options were all open it is just a shame the rear were not.

I love this place a good selection of food and also Hopsters for a craft beer

Beach Street is a foodies paradise! The area is built from brightly coloured shipping containers, a nod to the town's status as the largest port town on the East coast. Plenty of seating and close to the Ferris wheel and Mannings Amusements. Check out the pizza place and share a 22" pizza! Or maybe you prefer Mac'n'Cheese, or waffles, or try a Wok Wrap? Interesting beer selection at the bar.

This is by far our favorite restaurant, the atmosphere, the intimacy along with the pure simplicity is unmeasured. Once you add the knowledge of the wines coupled with David's amazing food just means you never want to leave, the fact that we live 14 miles away unfortunately means we have to tear ourselves away. Great coffee during the day from Shore followed by a really enjoyable evening at Big Bro Bao. Lots of really interesting shops and food outlets but we only had time to try those two. Will definitely be back again.

Nice place some of the prices are a little high

It's such a lively and lovely place! It has a great selection of food and drinks. Good chicken wings, lovely pizza, great mac and cheese, delicious waffles, amazing noodles, brilliant selection of beers and ales, and a small selection of cocktails. Highly recommend. I've been there twice and will keep going!

Great idea, allows smaller businesses to thrive and a nice feel to the area, the sweet tooth sweet shop has a few gluten-free and vegan bakery goods, which was a nice surprise.

Great atmosphere for a place to go on a summer evening. Choice of eateries and plenty of spaces to sit.

Great little venue, excellent service in two of the three places we visited, can highly recommend Wok Wraps and Shore Coffee by The Coast. two great establishments.

Well it has everything for fun, but still looks shabby & run down........sad because the town centre etc & gardens up the other Spa end are really lovely!

It wasn't as vibrant as expected second hand goods in one place like a dirty warehouse and prices made up as they go

Nice place and friendly staff very helpful shopping

With a small market and some interesting eateries this is a good stop while on a visit to Felixstowe. I find it interesting as it was originally a Butlins hotel and entertainment area, you can still see the original fountain at the front along with the building itself, just a shame the rollercoaster is long gone.

Taberna, that is some of the best tapas I have ever eaten! Fresh ingredients and the croquettes are amazing! Try the Shotley sparkling wine too.

Good well overdue facilities. Brings a little continental quirkiness to this area.

The restaurant was ok. I could not resist a book in one of the shops. A peaceful place and the view to the River Deben was relaxing.

Brilliant! We went to the marketplace and then were a lovely second hand shops around, we had pizza by slices and cheesy chips then went to the beach for a walk. Amazing place and brilliant atmosphere, you can easily get chunky in there if you have time and money 😂
