Superfry you really have outdone yourself tonight when it comes to re-frying chips! It's the first time we got chips from you and will be the last time! For a new business you're not doing yourself any favours. I don't even think the seagulls would of eaten what you served us tonight!!!

Been in tonite very poor order short and food not like it was when visited few years ago ...that's why went in tonite.

The best chip shop I've ever been in food was delicious.

Now under new management.. called SUPAFRY fish & chips plus high rollers. Eat in etc as a few tables inside. Not tried myself as happy where i go so i will not change. but service looks ok.

Nice to see a local chip shop offering seating . A busy plaice yet did not wait too long to get served or for the food to be ready. As a guy of a certain size I would have liked to have seen bigger more generous portions, however this said the food was tasty and well cooked. Nice to visit a new food venue and wish them luck

The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is good nothing sensational or anything but still good. Personally I think that the staff with longer hair should be wearing a hair net at all times for sanitation purposes however most of the staff members were with longer hair were not only one of the three were. Unfortunately the atmosphere was nothing amazing either the music irritated me being quite loud finally I hope they update there google maps as they have changed name I hope this place improves as it has a special place w it h me and my family please do give it a try but there are some things that need working on

Where do l start, last week we tried the fish and chips. The fish was very small but tasty and there chips were ok The curry sauce was nice as well so today we thought we would give it another try. Oh my God, what a complete disaster the fish was smaller and very greasy but the biggest complaint was the chips SKIN ON CHIPS and the potatoes were definitely not washed correctly because the chips were really gritty. With two great chip sops in Caister already you won’t last long serving food like that. Such a shame I hope you improve.

Super friendly ‘new’ chippy. We were on holiday for a week and passed this chippy several times. The food was superb, open later than the other chippies and I would recommend you visit.

This was the first stop we came to, walking back from the beach. There was quite. Queue, so we felt it was worth a try, The cook seemed pretty rushed off his feet but well managed, the fish we ordered was was very over cooked, dark brown crushy batter rather thab a crispy golden coating and coated in grease, the food didn't seem to have a little time to breath from fryer to paper wrapping and the chips looked like the frying oil could do with changing. Overall nothing special, and really quite pricing.

Quiet on our visit. We ate in and ordered cod & chips. Freshly cooked and served to our table. Excellent! A mug of decent tea to follow.

6.60 for 2 portions of chips and curry sauce had like ten chips in our portion for £2 and £1.30 for a dollop of curry sauce this is daylight robbery doesn't even cost that much on the market will never be going back there again as a former chip shop worker this is really bad pricing and portion size is atrocious

My God awful fish and chips 🤮 Batter was very thick and very sloppy underneath the cooked area and the fish tasted like it was weeks old Chips were hard so we Wish we’d gone round the corner to a to the chippy there !!! Now I know why there was a que at that one ! Ended up throwing it to this Seagulls I’m surprised the seagulls could take off after eating that batter 🤮 At least I don’t have to use them again do yourself a favour and don’t go through The hell of trying them in the first place 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

The worst chippy I've ever been to the fish was like robber I wouldn't recommend this to anybody

I happened to be passing with my missus, and we decided to treat ourselves to a chippy tea. I had haddock and she had plaice. The chips were very toothsome and not greasy. The fish was excellent,too. I would say that it's worth the trip out from Great Yarmouth.

My parents have lived in caister for 25 yrs and swear by this restaurant. I visit a few times a year and always look forward to getting my take away here. Friendly, very affordable and great quality fish. Lovely to see an old fashioned family run business

I have rated this business a 3 out of 5 because the fish and chips I could not fault. It would have been a 5 if it hadn't been for the poor service. The staff (a woman and I presume her two grand kids) were a total let down. Poor communication and lack of customer service skills No mention of any wait despite being the only customers when we entered on a not busy at all bank holiday Monday. Started serving everyone else who came in to the shop after some time of already waiting, one was a phone order (fair enough but then it turned in to a full blown conversation on the subject of gluten free options and my partner and I felt we were invisible). We only got served after my interrupting (before the next customers were served) to ask if there was much more of a wait - of which the response to the grandson? was 'yes serve these people as it's ready isn't it!?' In truth it had been ready for some time yet we were treated like we were invisible. No wooden forks provided to eat the fish with, when we were visiting for the day. Bottom line is that we will not be going back there and would not recommend unless you are prepared to spend most of your day in the shop waiting around. I was close to just walking out to be truthful. Lack of communication with your customers does not pay in the long term, and neither does unprofessional bellowing out to your husband across the back of the shop when serving food or employing your grand kids to help out when they have no idea what they are doing and clearly do not want to be there.

Great Fish and Chips with good prices and good value kids meals. A good menu choice too.

We really enjoyed the sausage and chips we bought here. The chips were freshly cooked, I had a slight wait but it was worth it. Then we went and sat on the lovely beach at the end and ate them. Will be back for more 👍

Everything was cooked to order, fish had batter to die for and chips cooked to perfection. Large Cod and chips twice for around £15, huge portions as well. We'll worth a visit.

Stayed in Caister for a week, decided to take a walk into the local shopping area and came across this chippy. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome we asked if we could eat in and was shown a table within minutes a gentleman appeared from the back he informed us that the fish we ordered was the best. We both ordered Haddock and chips with mushy peas I my God were they good, the wait was quite a while but cant complain when everything is cooked to order I have never tasted batter any better than this and yes quite right the Gentleman who I now guess is the owner is right in saying that the fish was the best around. The chips themselves were proper seaside chips and not the frozen rubbish you get from some chippy's. Summary: Warm Welcome, Nice People, Tasty food and Good Value.

A real family business. We were made to feel very welcome. The owner chatted to us as we sat in the restaurant waiting for our fish and chips. The fish and chips were amazing. Wonderful batter on the fish and beautiful chips. Generous portions and cheerful service by the young people serving. We are on holiday here and were given lots of ideas for visits so we cam away fedling we had had wonderful fish and chips and an enjoyable experience!

Cycled by and smelt the food so picked up fish and chips to take to the beach. Had to wait a short while as everything was cooked to order which meant everything was piping hot and fresh. Very tasty and best fish and chips I've had for a long time.

Stopped here randomly, pleasantly surprised. All food was cooked to order, great value and quality - especially the pineapple fritter!

The only place we could find open at 7pm, and although the portions were huge, they were on the greasy side and the batter wasn't the best on the fish as it was too doughy. Nice young lad served us, and the staff were pleasant.

What is it they say....’never use an empty restaurant’ and this is the case. Portion sizes are way off the mark at £2.30. I appreciate times are hard but it’s not difficult to make money on a sack of potatoes. Customer service poor.. clearly running out of chips so too tight to give correct portion. When I mentioned this I got multiple scoffs....It’s funny how the chip shop round the corner was queued down the road? Of course pictures always say a thousand words...yum yum??

The best fish and chips I've had in a long time!

We’ve bought Fish & chips from here a number of times in the past, they do a good value kids meal deal, with drink, fish goujons and chips. Whilst the kids means and chips were good on this occasion, the fish batter completely turned to mush and came off the fish. Obviously having a bad day, I’m sure I’ll be giving it another try in the future!

Had two haddock and a large chips, the haddock was huge and cooked beautifully, the chips were very good too.

I have been using this chippy for about a year now and it is the only one we use. I often ring in my order as I am a few miles away and I can guarantee the food is freshly cooked and piping hot. I have had the burgers before which too are very nice and cooked in front of you. The staff are always happy and polite (even with a broken wrist) and a family run business which is always a pleasure to see.

It may look a bit dated but the food is outstanding and reasonably priced

We popped in for a fish and chip meal ( well fish and chips and two lots of pie and chips). The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. Quaint little fish shop with some rather unique decor. Would go again next time we are in the area.

I have now been visiting this fish and chip shop for years having been taken there by my gran many years ago and its still in the same hands fantastic fish and chips cooked by friendly staff when this one is closed for holidays etc would not think of going elsewhere because I know I would be disappointed.

Lovely couple running the chip shop, lovely chips. Our previous experience had been Doggers which was awful, so I’m pleased to have found a decent chippy in Caister-on-Sea.

Fab chips & Spam Fritters to die for. Can't fault the food from here. Consistently good grub for over 20 years. The opening hours are a little patchy but worth a visit.

Absolutely love this chippy, the fish tastes so fresh and the batter is very light and always crispy, not to mention the chips are of top quality and good sized portions.

Need to change the oil they cook eggs in ,the eggs where inedible , beans microwaved in a ramekin ,hash browns and sausages where good no toast included with all day breakfast

We popped in here as a family on holiday for a quick chippy lunch. As seems to be standard there were no viable vegan protein alternatives so the vegan had chips, beans and mushy peas, I had sausage, egg, chips and beans and the little one had fish finger, chips and beans.

The fish and chips are OK but i found the portion sizes very small for the price you pay. They need to give more chips
