BB's Banbury in Cherwell

Had the best frappe ever. We took home box of muffine which looked so good . Staff very friendly. There is just one think the place could be renovated little bit

Tea served in a pot, with a proper cup and saucer. I hate having a tea bag in a plastic beaker. And charming service. I’m told the cake was delicious too.

I would have like a muffin here to go with my coffee but the complete abscence of labels or identification on which muffins were on display made this difficult. I asked what flavours were available and was answered with “Gluten Free” Coffee only then I guess!

Great muffins and baguettes, lovely coffee, very nice people. A lovely place to just stop and have a snack and drink. Nice to see that they have reopened.

Not our first time here, but standards are slipping. Muffin was tasteless, coffee no better. Seating needs sorting out, if you have a one way, make people use it !

I come today with my love for a date and I was really surprise, the muffins was so lovely, coffee was just more them amazing.... Can't say more then thank you to the beautiful ladies as the make me feel so happy at coffee shop .... ☕ Just the toilet was terrible.

Lovely place to have coffee and something sweet! The muffins are so delicious and fresh. The staff is always happy to help and welcomes me and my family with a smile! They make a great atmosphere in the shop and it’s just a joy to spend time there! I highly recommend!

I had some time to kill while waiting for a friend so I called in for a coffee. Once I saw the muffins I had to try one as well. It was beautiful. Staff were very friendly

I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to the BB's stuff for saving my day yesterday, and by providing an absolutely fabulous food and the best coffee I've ever had!A long and exhausting day, has been switched to a pleasant - thanks to you and your service.P.S. The venue needs some attention though, i.e. some sort of investment.

In surprised contrast to some of the negative reviews about this Cafe, I personally have always had a great welcome in this place. The Ladies that work there are always smiling and provide a fantastic service. The coffee is always spot on, although I don’t have a sweet tooth I wouldn’t be able to rate the muffins that seem to be cooked on a daily basis but they defiantly look eye catching. Overall I rate this place a 5/5 due to its friendly staff and brilliant tasting Coffee beans. Keep it up!

I had stopped here on my way back from a business trip & it was just what I needed after a long drive! The customer service was very good, a warm & welcoming experience.I ordered a hot chocolate with cream & marshmallows which certainly warmed me up! Alongside this, I decided on having one of the many delicious looking muffins.. I was not disappointed! I would highly recommend stopping here as it has everything you need for a quick stop or a relaxing break!

Popped in on a Sunday lunch time for coffee and sandwich as we'd really enjoyed a vto BB's at East Midlands Designer Village. I really wish we had not bothered. Two blank faced young wonen on duty, neither prepared to offer a warm "Hi" or smile. When I asjed aboyt the fillings in the baguettes, one of them rattled off a list which wad vertually unintelligble - still no smile or eye contact. I ordered a tuna mayo and a ham and cheese and two coffees. Tgere was a deal on - baguette and drink for £5.50. Another member if staff made the coffee. The order was presented on a tray and we took it to a table. They was plenty to chose from, only about 4 tables occupued. We split tge baguettes so we each had half. The tuna was sloppy and the ham and cheese tastless - exceot fir the bread which was excellent. The coffee was VERY "thin" and had a rather odd taste as if the water used was not very fresh.The place itself seemed fairly clean (no customers to muck it up), but, hard and plastic looking. Like a formica canteen.Unprepossessing, Unpleasant, Unwelcoming. Absolutely miserable place. So different from East Mids. The staff did not bother to say cheerio either. Won't be back. There are many more cafe's in Banbury where smiles come as standard

Called in while shopping in town and was pleasantly surprised nice and bright place had a toastie with a black coffee and got a muffin in the price,only downside was my wife had a muffin with cream profiterolls and the cream didn't taste right which they changed

Floor was filthy from debris of previous diners but hadn’t been cleaned up. No cakes at 3pm, waited ages at counter to be served, not sure why as there was only one other customer but counter staff did not acknowledge us or apologise for the wait. Eventually got bored and left.

Ordered and paid for two drinks and toasted sandwiches. Told the sandwiches would be brought to my table. After waiting 20 minutes went back to the counter and the sandwiches were still sitting waiting to be toasted! They were brought to my table with apologies a few minutes later. They tasted OK but not worth the wait. I could have understood the mistake if the cafe was busy, but there were very few customers. There seem to be several staff about but they didn't seem to be very interested in their customers. I was offered a free coffee but negotiated a takeaway muffin instead, which I enjoyed later.

lovely sunday afternoon sitting in the sunshine only downside was that many of the trays and cups were not cleared away. Good choice of cakes etc and coffees

Always been a fan of B&B; ,but on this occassion the service was very slow ,despite us being the only ones waiting to be served ,the lady serving ( or not ) was messing around in a laptop and had to be told to serve us ,when she did having a miserable attitude would be kind.

Amazing coffee - just what was needed on a Saturday morning. The muffins look good also, freshly baked. Would recommend.

We visited here on a lunchtime. Mine was apple juice, cheese and ham croissant and a chocolate muffin. Great service and a nice restaurant.

Despite its claims to have Australian foundations the coffee was a far cry from contemporary Australian standards.

Great tasting hot coffee with excellent fresh muffins and pastries - it's not a new idea, but so great when you see it done well, and BBs do it very well indeed. Well worth a visit whenever you're in Banbury.

We went today for coffe and some muffins. The service was appauling they served the cappuccinos with the spoons on a tray without a plate. We ask for it and looked like they were doing a favour. Definitely not going back again.

Coffee is not bad either, this coffee and muffin shop is staffed by the friendliest girls. Attention to customers and detail is second to none

They do the best muffins in Banbury, freshly baked each day not stuck in a fridge like most coffee shops, delicious smooth coffees, quick efficient service, only minus decor a little plain would benefit from a refit.

Nice. Coffee here and good choice of muffins. Service is quick Nd is worth a visit when out shopping.

Miserable staff and we were overcharged for a drink we didn't have, then had our drinks given to us on a tray that had 2 spoons on the tray, I questioned what the spoons were for and was told for the hot chocolate and the mocha they were both filthy dirty spoons left on a dirty tray from previous customer, given to us with our drinks order absolutely disgusting!!!!! My daughter had a sausage roll this was warmed in the microwave it was tough and hardly edible. Will NOT return!

A regular meeting place for coffee & muffins (also do tasty gluten free muffins). Good coffee, good service & plenty of seats in & out. In a handy location.

Have been here a few times but have found a nicer place in the high street. The staff can be a bit grumpy, maybe as some aren't english their accent makes them sound grumpy when they aren't.They do a good deal with a small baguette for a £1 when you buy a hot drink, have an outside seating area near the market. Choice of the baguettes is a bit limited.It is what it is, cheap.Coffee is very nice.

Quick, friendly service. Good range of sandwiches, rolls & muffins (including gluten free). Lots of seating including outside tables.

.........with a nice coffee. Small selection of baguettes, toasties and paninis with a slightly larger selection of muffins. Ice cream available too, including take away. Current offer allows you to have a baguette for £1 when you buy any medium coffee! Staff friendly and service quick. Small area of outdoor seating too. Cleanliness of unisex toilet has a lot to be desired. Muffins lovely and fresh as cooked on site. We're regular visitors when in the area.

This is an excellent little coffee shop. The service is good and the cakes are very yummy. You also get an excellent cup of coffee

Good choice of muffins cakes, rolls for lunch time snack or afternoon tea. Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating looking across the square. It's right by the entrance to the shopping mall so easy to find.
