Food is average quality , franksters is much better , prices are reasonable , the food does not have the flare it once had , portion sizes are smaller than I remember on opening

There were lots of flies everywhere, the peanut butter stack was cold and not fresh. It was not a good atmosphere and needed more hygiene.

I’ve been ordering for years and my recent experiences have been absolutely horrendous. I ordered some wings and chips and the amount of chips you get wouldn’t even suffice for a child’s portion. The wings were genuinely some of the smallest wings I’ve seen with only 1/5 being a normal sized wings. They’ve increased the price but massively dropped the standards. It’s not like it’s once. I’m not one to write bad reviews but I’m genuinely surprised at how low the standards are. If it was a one off I would’ve let it go but in the last couple or so I’ve ordered about 3/4 times and each time the portion sizes were abysmal. If you asked me about 5/6 years ago I would’ve and did recommend so many people to go here. now you’d have to get 2 meals to even fill a normal adult up.

I am a customer for several years and it was so good before the service and the communication but things have changed especially the delivery it's always missing something and when you ask to the driver he will said it's not his fault which is absolutely right for me but when you call the restaurant to complain people on the phone are rude the management also turned the phone off on me which is absolutely ridiculous I just deleted them phone and will never going to buy from them.

Orderd the mighty sub dissapointed with the portion size as it was 8 pound also not really cooked as I expected abit rubbery chops cooked well and sauces were nice

I was in bradford for the day and fancied something light and healthy. The lad on the front seemed a bit clueless with what they have to offer but another gentleman came and assisted us who was helpful. We went for the mixed veg rice and chicken, food portion was small for the price we paid, rice tasted as it was out of a microwave packet and it would have been ideal if it was served with salad and tad more seasoning to the chikhen. Overall not a great dining experience, definitely room for improvement. Thankyou.

Just ordered via uber eats right now, got it in 20mins. Mentioned all salad and sauce in notes. And legit got everything, got usual salad and then got olives, sweetcorn, jelopenos, courgettes and even pineapples with it too!! Brill order! Defo doing chicken and rice again

Food wasn’t the freshest and the bread on the sub is a poor quality The place is really grimy and sticky and needs a proper clean up.

Ordered 4 peri peri burgers to eat in. Waited 30 minutes and chicken was cold. Told guys behind counter and they said they've just come off the grill. I don't think so. The lad offered to make them again but we weren't gonna wait another 30 minutes. Very disappointed

Absolute quality food that is cooked with perfection and most certainly is worth every penny, staff were fantastic too with excellent manners and unbeatable service not only that there is so much variety to chose from. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to fulfil their hunger as you will not be disappointed 👍

The burgers are tasty but sometimes the portions have been small. The peri peri chicken is always a favourite! A reliable delivery service.

We ordered a whole chicken with chips and milkshake. Food was spot on and well cooked (am fussy with chicken). Salad was refreshing better than other takeouts with only the usual lettuce and onions!Had to go back and remind them we also had milkshake on order but other than that very impressed

Always nice and consistent. The shop itself is very nice and stylish with vibrant colours and designs. The Food is the star of the show, always grilled to perfection and juicy.

Absolutely shocking customer service. Received food an hour and half after ordering, the food was cold and the takeaway did not accommodate. On speaking with staff they offered to provide 10% off next order I felt they were accusing me of lying and said that I would have to place an order as normal. Rude staff and unfortunately after many years they will not have my repeat custom again.

I have ordered from BBQ Express many times. Really like their burgers, wraps, chicken and rice and full grilled chicken. The food is nice, tasty, and well priced. Unfortunately my last order of whole chicken had very little chicken breast portion on it. It seemed the central breast part has been taken off it. I really hope it was a one off mistake and it is looked into as I do like the place.

Where do I begin? first things first: - walked in half hour before close and they very kindly opened upstairs for me and my wife - next the staff recommended me food as I wasn’t sure, they were outstandingly patient and kind when doing so - staff went above and beyond even bringing the food upstairs, ensuring I had all condiments when doing so - general service with a smile, cannot fault Now onto the food, it was outstanding, warm, l tender and flavoursome, cooked fresh made to my specification as I asked for some particulars. The price point was a massive bonus also. Well done to all the team. Can’t recommend this place highly enough

Purchase a burger from this place not too long ago called the Mega Munch Burger for £9.95, (the most expensive burger on the menu), The chicken was very hard, rubbery and tasteless. The lamb in the burger didn't taste too nice but maybe that's just my opinion. Overall the burger was very overpiced and didn't taste too good at all. Wouldn't recommend it.

Been here twice now had the half grilled chicken and the BBQ ribs and both were on point. The chicken was really nice cooked to perfection the ribs were very chewy but nice. Would defo recommend and will be going back on a regular basis.

Just bought four sub meals,price on the menu was £5.95 per meal.I didn’t have change so gave the guy two £20 notes and he gave me one 10 note ,one pound and two 20 pence .I asked him twice and he said no it’s the right price.well I can do the simple maths it was £23.80 but he charged me £28.60. I didn’t want to make a scene there but not going back to them.they r thieves 😡

well timing was the only good quality thing about this order. 1st i ordered a burger beef at that got a disgusting stringy what i presume was either beef or lamb pieces in a bun, was disgusting , then i ordered a chicken bun aswell, got some dark meat looking stuff. definately didnt look or taste like chicken. phone the restaurant to ask what was what and that i wasnt happy with the order and he basically just told me, its my fault nothing he could do. and then said something rude while hanging up but id already took phone from ear. all in all i definately will not be ordering off this restaurant again! apauled to say the least! wont be surprised if i end up ill from the little bite of the meat!

You place your order, they rush to get you off the phone, you cant tell them what drink you want. Food came, no drinks or sauces and its COLD. If you cant get it right people will go elsewhere

Visited today with my 76 Yr old dad. We were welcomed at the counter. We chose the Chicken Tikka burger meal. The food was freshly cooked and brought to our table, we were offered sauces and were brought a selection to try. The burger was the best burger I have ever had. A butterfly breast of chicken marinated in a delicious spicy Tikka sauce and cooked to perfection. I was that impressed I bought 4 more to take away for my family to try. My husband has had his this evening and agrees it is fantastic. The food and service was top quality. If I'm ever in the area again I will certainly return.

Ordered a family meal which grilled chicken which I was offered in many flavours I chose lemon & herb also had chips with garlic bread the chicken was very tasty & tender and lovely flavour their chips are also very tasty and not normal chips overall great experience busy place but worth it !

A certain degree of arrogance is warranted where the food is of a standard. Not here! Smug, unwelcoming and generally poor demeanour all round. Don’t bother.

Been coming here since it opened and the good quality of this takeaway just gets better and better day by day. Very different from the usual grill houses and the plus point it being HMC certified.

I have been eating at bbq express for over 3yrs and the food quality always remains consistent , its very clean inside friendly staff , respectful seating for families and the grilled food options are delicious and well marinatedFrom the minute you step inside they rush to help seat you and take your order and also now do pizzas. If up fancy a quick bite its the place to try, i usually get grilled chicken wrap and they have a good range of sauces and other healthy options and desserts. I have not had a single bad experience on all my visits and they have earned themselves a loyal customer based on the food being fresh on each occasion and staff attentiveness. The manager often comes and chats and asks how the food is and i wouldnt go elsewhere!!

Have eaten here a few times, the chicken sub is very nice, the staff were very friendly and the young gentleman serving us was very polite and helpful. Im not too sure about some of the negative reviews here, a good healthy option.

I have ordered delivery take-outs from BBQ Express several times. On one occasion they left out knives & forks. On another, the food came without a fork but with a knife. There are never any napkins/wipes included. Even the sauce tubs have barely anything inside them. Salads & drinks don't come with the meal. You have to order these separately. Suggestions to customers: When ordering a meal, & if you need the following, SPECIFY that you want: A FULL tub of sauce/s, not near empty ones. Napkins/Wipes. Salad. Drink. Suggestions to BBQ Express: Include salads, sauces & drinks as part of a 'meal'. Ensure your take-out orders are correct & have everything the customer ordered, before driving out. Be generous with your sauces. Summary: The food is excellent. The service needs improvement.

Went out with my friends we got chicken peri burgers, ribs & pizza from the shop next door. I have to say the pizza was excellent especially the cheesy bites. Keep up the good work.

Went to have some lunch. The burger was a steak of lamb. Had very little/ no taste other than the taste of the meat itself. The place itself seems nice and clean. The meal had a very small portion size altogether ie burger and chips.

Loved the grilled peri chicken with chips it goes nicley with naan from next door. Highly recommended. Clean and fresh. I loved it and im a foody person. I love my food. If its good its good u know. Got to let people know. So yes 5* from me. Hope my feedback helps.

spoken disrespectfully by the workers, got called white scum by three teenage lads that look about 17-18 years of age. I walked in and the floor was wet and I slipped. there was no warning sign on the floor. awful customer service and no health and safety provided. after waiting a hour I finally got my food. the chicken tasted soggy and cold the chips were oily and I ended getting a upset stomach. while I was sat waiting for my food I could see one young lad at the back on his phone shouting and swearing at a girl. this shows that they have no respect or awareness that customers are listening.

food was really good however the sweat corn was cold and I ordered two drinks and only received one apart from that this takeaways amazing order from here very often food is to knotch 👌👨‍🍳

The driver was supposedly be outside and after 20 mins and me making several calls and then walking the streets at gone 10pm it was finally delivered 25 mins later, and when I opened my order was Cold. Not good service for first time ordering. Wasted over £12

My friend who is local took me here one lunchtime and I wasn't disappointed. I went for the grill box which was delicious and a good sized portion. We both ate like kings for under £14. Will be back.

although it was delivered on time as per the expected time, I did call 25 minutes before and told it will arrive '3-4' minutes. Otherwise food was good (chicken creamy burger and ribs). Garlic bread was soggy in the polystyrene container, you might want to use small pizza boxes

They delivered the wrong burger

lovely food. only major let down was the spicy sauce I didn't ask for was put on both burgers. made the burger not as nice and difficult to eat. it did not go well with lamb.

They forgot to deliver my fries, the corn on the cob was out of date and rubbery, they sent the wrong cheesecake the food wasn't up to standard, this happened a couple of times now and can honestly say will never get food from them again waste of money.

Pedimos para llevar de barbacoa express y traje a casa para comer. Sobre el servicio de atención al cliente único teléfono bueno me dijeron para recoger a los 20 minutos, así que llegamos a la tienda y estaba listo a tiempo. Todo el mundo estaba hambriento a casa y tan pronto como abrimos la caja nos podría decir que esto iba a ser bueno. Los cubitos de pollo y patatas fritas sabor peri era tan delicioso! Mi familia también dieron la hamburguesa y pollo peri con arroz y pollo alas. Fue todo muy sabroso. Comimos aquí tienen un par de veces y cada vez es todavía el sabor perfecto. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar sobre todo los cubitos de pollo y patatas fritas. También entregar lo que es bueno.
