Great experience at afternoon tea. Tasty food was plentiful. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The price was great, especially for the amount of food that we received. Large selection of teas, and a very delicious hot chocolate.

We had lunch here. We had chicken, fish and chips, kids size pasta and some sweet potato fries. They were all very good. The service was unbelievably amazing. Staff here were trying to cheer my daughter up and make her laugh, super nice and have sense of humor. Love this place.

Got the South African High tea via Buyagift. Was a truly lovely afternoon with great food and excellent service.

A restaurant that I do not particularly recommend. We waited 40 minutes to be served 2 burgers which we ate in 10 minutes. I find it quite ironic to pay 6.- for the service when we waited more than we ate. The burger is nothing very special, it was even a little cold, I even wonder if they fell asleep while preparing our burger. However the fries were good and the place is nice. Too bad to have put us at the worst table, that is to say at the entrance, in the middle of the restaurant. I still have trouble understanding how we could have been forgotten while we were at this table.

They made the best hamburger I have ever eaten in my life, the service and ambiance were great, thank you.

We stopped in to have lunch after doing the TootBus hop-on, hop-off tour. We had the chicken sandwich and it tasted great. I had the lemonade mocktail drink that was delicious as well. Service was great as there were only two servers and they tended to everyone in an ample amount of time.

We stumbled across the Bbar on our walk around London and we were so happy that we did! Great service, great food and reasonably priced, we had the cheeseburger and chicken burger and I would highly recommend both! Really lovely staff too.

French friends this comment is for you. Very good REAL restaurant, excellent welcome, really very friendly staff, the food is hearty and honestly good for English cuisine (it's quite rare!) The price is fair but be careful the price of the service is not indicated (we paid 7 pounds more, but deserved for this very welcoming staff).

Had a fantastic afternoon tea, chip shop style on Sunday (Feb 11th), followed by some of the best cocktails we've ever had...This place is lovely and we will be back for sure!

The fish and chip afternoon tea was a great idea and a much larger portion than expected. Luckily they had to go boxes as we didn't have room for all the cakes! The cheesecake in particular was really delicious!

Had afternoon tea, fixed price, good deal for the the price. The savory bites were delicious, the scones were great but the sweets were meh. Note if you have a group of 4+ then you can add a glass of prosecco for free.

Just popped into here for a few drinks to relax with. Safe to say it was a great choice. The bar is very modern and clean and the staff are friendly. Didn't get food here as it was just a quick stop to put our feet up. Cocktails are also nice.

Simply fantastic. Kind and quick service plus flavorful, fun dishes. Probably the best chicken schnitzel I’ve ever had – pure comfort food. And although the salt beef sandwich wasn’t on the menu, we asked for it and they brought it to us. Delicious!

Very bad experience. We just ate a burger which seems like it would be pretty simple. The beef had a very very special smell and taste, €45 two burgers and tasteless fries. And without specifying, €5.50 “abuse costs” do not go there

A very pleasant pre- theatre meal. Friendly service, no delays. Simple but good food - just what was needed

What can I say... fraudulent ad... Arriving at the restaurant, we asked the waiter where the £45 menu that we had reserved on the fork was. He simply told us that it didn't exist, the only menu for £45 was three glasses of wine with grilled cheese toast that our tablemates had ordered. A disappointment from A to Z. the place is trendy, but the food needs to be reviewed. Caesar salad for £20 consisting mainly of salad and as a bonus chicken for an extra £8, fish and chips with frozen products... although it is still a specialty of the country! Plus the extra £10 on the bill (without anyone telling us) due to "service", because the waitress served us water three times is just pathetic. The restaurant was frequented by a majority of French people during this evening who were mostly disappointed. In short, I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant and even less your platform which sells non-existent services.

A very nice place to meet up for a meal, I went with 5 friends the only disappointment was the salmon starter not much salmon but the main and desserts were of a high standard, the drinks were a little expensive, we were not rushed so overall a very enjoyable afternoon.

Had an absolutely amazing saturday night for my Girlfriend 30th Birthday. Got seated in a great location in the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The waiter was great. I wish I got his name as he deserves praise for his service, humour and style. Also had a very good waitress that served also. Quite busy night. Food when it came was exceptional from the A la carte menu. Amazing Chef. Prices expected from being in the heart of London so around £70-80 per person for Starter, main, desert and drinks. Also accommodating for my Girlfriends birthday was an amazing memorable night. Thankyou BBar. Would definately recommend and return again.

David(Hungarian bartender) was really friendly and is doing a great job! They have a lovely terrace outside with heathers.

The manager was excellent- he had taken note of our requests eg quiet table. Staff were friendly and polite . It was a shame that so few dishes were available

People were nice but food was not good for the price ! Curry was awful and rice not well cooked ! Very expensive for quality !

My wife and I came upon the Bbar quite by accident. We went in and were welcomed with open arms by the genuinely friendly staff. The service and food were excellent and the location was perfect for a couple of Irish tourists like ourselves ! I always think that the highest recommendation that I can give is to ask myself, "Would I eat here again ?" And in this case the answer is a resounding "Absolutely!"

Really nice restaurant and also good place to meet near victoria - unfortunately a few of the best sellers were already 'out' so I would suggest getting there early.

This year we chose the bbar to host our team's Christmas party which was an amazing experience and a great success. The team from the manager, Ian and the administrator Estelle, all the way to the evening were phenomenal! They really looked after us and they tailormade the event to ensure we have the best time ever which we did! They were so accommodating and there was no request which felt too difficult for them! The food, the ambiance and everything was incredible!!!

Nice location and atmosphere- disappointing food at crazy price - a Salt beef sandwich served in soggy supermarket bread for £23 without any sides.

Service was super friendly and we recognised how busy the front of house was. Food was lush and the atmosphere was chill.

This was our last meal of our Scotland/London trip, and it was delicious! The service was excellent (very friendly and helpful - THANK YOU!), the cocktails refreshing, and the food... well, the food was everything we expected, and then some! YES! We will return next time we're in London!

The location of this restaurant is great ! But for our family, that is were it ends. Extremely rude staff, it seemed we were trouble for them to even wait on from the beginning. Food was less than desirable. Service was non existent. We wish we would have kept walking and picked another place.

After several disappointing dining experiences in London, we found bbar. The service was top notch. We had the Parmesan Chicken Schnitzel and the Son of a Gun Chicken Sandwich. I think the chicken on the sandwich was well seasoned but a little tough, and the bread over powered the chicken. Overall, we greatly enjoyed this restaurant and would recommend it. PS they make an excellent Bloody Mary. Cheers!

Pretty good value for money, good food from a simple menu , nice comfortable seats with tables well spaced out , staff helpful and relaxed making us feel welcome. We'll be back I feel.

Lovely afternoon tea at BBar! We had a Red Letter Day Voucher. Sometimes on a voucher you can feel rushed, but we were never made to feel that they wanted us to leave. Bunny chows were so delicious and broke up the sweetness of the cakes and scones. The Amarula scone was superb! Tried my first blooming tea as well.

What a lovely surprise right next door to our hotel. Service and food were both amazing. We had fish and chips and shrimp linguine, both very good. Thank you Carolina!

Good place for afternoon tea around Victoria, good value for money, really nice atmosphere, a nice alternative to the usual sandwiches.

We were there several in a row. It is relaxing, local bar. The history is very interesting and has an African flavor.

Superfood Cob salad (I added grimled chicken) .... hands down best salad Ihave had! Greens fresh. Light seasoning, chicken perfect. Also. .... is Ian the owner? He was our waiter and attended us consistently with cheeriness and professionalism. If not the owner .... hold onto this employee! Perfect evening with my wife.

We were on our weekend trip. Passing by and decided to jump as were craving Fish&Chips. Perfect location. Great food and service. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

Popped in for some supper before going to see a show (wicked). We were tight for time and needed prompt service. Our waiter was nice, helpful and assured us that we had enough time to order and finish our meals before heading off for the show. WE ordered drinks, fish and chips x 2, a salad and babotie spring rolls. The dishes were served pretty quickly, food was fresh and good quality. Service was excellent, Its a nice place. We will try again when visiting the area.

Had a private dinner here on 28/08/2023. Simona was really helpful with helping to get everything sorted before the day. She kept in touch even after the dinner to be sure that everything went well. Angela and David provided exceptional service on the day and ensured that all the guests were happy. Food was also delicious. A really great place, thanks to all the team for a great service.

Bbar is always on my dining list when I’m in London. This experience, like all of the others, had excellent food and drinks. But while the service has always been good, this time it went beyond expectations. It’s not easy to serve six women who want different things and separate checks, but our server did it with a smile and a twinkle in her eye. Can’t wait to go back to London and Bbar!

We booked this for a meal before going to hamilton at the Victoria Palace and it was great. Food was very good - not a great choice by well cooked and very tasty and the atmosphere was excellent.We lingered for almost 2 hours, sitting in the most comfortable leather chairs and waiting until time to walk to the theatre - which was only 200 yards away. Staff were excellent - friendy and very professional and the meal was part of a super evening not just an add on to a theatre visit.
