Bayleaf Indian Cuisine in West Lancashire

Ordered for the first time yesterday,best chicken madras I’ve had,wife had the vindaloo enjoyed it but it could of been hotter I’ll put that in the requests next time

First experience last night for myself and my daughter. I had Chicken Madras with pilau rice and my daughter Chicken Tika Masala with boiled rice. We both said it was the nicest Indian curry ever. Great service, good prices. Will be returning.

Fantastic Indian takeaway, I the food is very nice and the guys are very friendly and polite. This is my favourite place to go for Indian food. Highly recommend.

Most flavoursome food that I've had at a takeaway in many a year

had a chicken lava last night and I've never been so ill in all my life, it was the only thing I had eaten all day so I know it was that that nearly killed me, both ends for nearly 24 hours so I will certainly never go there again, and I would avoid if I were you

New to the area so in need of a new Indian restaurant. Ordered online because they had an offer on but was outside the restaurant so I could see that the food was being cooked fresh. Place was clean and staff friendly. Fantastic food, good quality ,Lots of it (bigger than other local places) and reasonably priced .Defo the best I have found so far

Called on a Saturday evening, the first time I'd visited since the takeover. The food was tasteless and watery. I personally would not recommend or visit again. Hopefully this was just a poor night because previously when Upholland Balti it was absolutely exceptional.

Perfect curry, plenty of sauce, garlic nan spot on.

Great Little Indian this place. BAYLEAF! Exceptional Service and Quality Indian Food. 👌 I've not been able to eat curry for almost 10 years due to the problems it gives my stomach. Here.... no problems at all. I took a risk and I'm buzzing! There food is so Tasty large portions. Attention to detail and the guys that work there are So Kind. Today me an my partner went there and we was Given 2 Free San Miguel's to Enjoy with our meal as a Christmas Gesture. Thankyou very much and we will always be returning Customers!! 😊

This place is 10x better than the previous place (Upholland Balti). The curries are brilliant and very flavoursome!! Chicken Naga was superb!! Definitely recommend!

Take out only . Very friendly owners . Very busy place . Order early soon as they open otherwise you might as well go order in person . The food is very flavorful and aromatic . I loved the tikka chicken and mother butter chicken . The tarka dahl was very nice too . Prices are on par with the other local indian takeaways. In my opinion the best of the local Indian takeaways . I have been several times and will likely continue to be a recurring customer .

So sad that I have to give a 1 star. The food is great, however the hygiene rating of 0 ,( zero!!). Fair play if you want to take the risk , but I've had good poisoning, and it's possibly the closest I've ever felt to death. It's horrendous and I wouldn't wish it in my worst enemy. For this reason only I have to give a 1 as no excuses for a zero hygiene rating.

Best curry house in West Lancs. High Quality food, fantastic naans and very reasonable prices. Also no problem cooking food to your speciality i.e. if you don't like particular ingredients like too much chilli or onion or cream, they can do it to your liking. 10/10

Nice guys, very friendly. Been trying this place over the last few years, had a break and decided to give it another go. Nice starter, shush kebab, main was bland, mushrooms where like chewing rubber. Keema nan, tasteless. Should have saved my £20 and cooked one myself. Think you guys need to up your game, both are meals where poor. Sorry.👎

Been coming here for 14 years. Consistently excellent food. They don't deliver and close comparatively early, so go before 2200. Good prices and very tasty food. Try the balti garlic chilli murugh dish.

Dont bother!!!!!!!! After waiting 40 miniutes for our order,we got home to find it bland and tastless. There is only 1 takeaway worth going to, Sunrise on Gidlow Lane.

Upholland Balti doesn't deliver but with food at such great prices and decent portion sizes it doesn't need to. The naan breads are well worth a try.

Great food at very reasonable prices. Don't be put off by the external looks! Inside you can see the chefs at work in the kitchen.

I've been coming here for over 10 years and I must say the quality has always been good. The Naan breads are brilliant and are a must if you've never ordered here before. I think it won a national award a couple of years ago but can't remember which one.
