Bay Leaf in Central Bedfordshire

We have just ordered another meal from this takeaway and yet again the meal was fantastic. I had a special of chicken bakara which was beautifully spiced and one of the best takeaway meals I've had. All in all thoroughly recommend this takeaway.

We went to see a play at the Little Theater in Dunstable and wanted to grab something to eat afterwards as it was 2240 and didn't know the area we picked Bayleaf as it had a 5 star hygiene rating and the food was very tasty. We ordered a lamb biryani, mushroom bhaji, lamb Tikka roll, 2 poppadoms. I spoke to the chef Mohammed and said I didn't want ghee as I'm allergic to dairy and he was very accommodating and said it wasn't a problem. The biryani was cooked well and not oily at all, with a good a mount of lamb to rice. It also came with the obligatory veg curry which you couldn't fault. My daughter had the lamb Tikka roll, she asked for salad but wanted just cucumber, lettuce inside, again this was no problem. All in all a great meal to end the day and i'd definitely go back when I'm in the area

Had a few bad curries from the regular restaurants in Dunstable. Not used bay leaf for a while but food was excellent and arrived straight away piping hot

never had a bad meal from here, although always go for the meal for 2. The selection is just right for our taste, and always to a high standard delivered to the door piping hot.

Our first food from this place, and it didn’t disappoint. We used their website to order, for delivery later in the afternoon, and a very friendly chap was on our doorstep right on time. We ordered a set meal for two. Mixed starters and poppadoms were excellent, as were the mains, very good portions. Naan not the best, but the veggie sides were really good. Only our first order here, so four stars, but we will order again and there’s always room for improvement! Well done guys.

Now under new management and they’ve transformed the place. Food quality and service is amazing. Definitely recommend
