I visited this pub when the football was on and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It had a warm, friendly atmosphere. It also has an outside sheltered 'beer garden' with heat lamps which serves well as an overflow.

Bottom bay horse... felling Refused a second drink in this bar out of no fault of my own. customer had an issue with me being in this establishment.Staff acted according to the known regular. I am a 54yr old. With no criminal record of any kind. Never known this to be this way in all the 27yrs of visiting this establishment under other management and staff. Will not be visiting again. Outraged to say the least.

Valentes pub (no food) is a class joint .Named after the owner who has been in the area for years . Massive area to park your bum staff fantastic and knowledgeable. Happy hour ALL week days with a great range of beers and popular larger and cocktails, deals on show THE BEST TOASTIES In the Western Hemisphere ,in fact the come from all over the world to join the great atmosphere (see pic)...TERRY..TERY

Great local pub. A couple of real ales would make it perfect.

It's a bar you can enjoy live music on certain days and £2.50 pint in the mornings and afternoons

Love the management and the staff all-around great little pub since Wayne and his partner took over would of gave 5 but there is one barmaid in particular..won't mention any name ..but is realy nasty looks down on you .and even if you try to say hi walks away and does not even reply ..sorry to say but makes you feel realy uncomfortable..want to keep going there but I think I'm not going to bother..rather go too the swan ..and then to Newcastle..well until things change..Or hope they do but I doubt it...😥 on a more personal note maybe it's just me she has a problem with..if that's the case then I wish she would just sa6 what it is...I won't say avoid..as that wouldn't be fare to the owners. But on that note..that's why iv dropped a few star's as this has gone on now for 2 long..enough already..😟😟😟😟😟

I haven't been out for many years , however, my brother in law asked us to call into what was my local. We're so so pleased we called in, we met so many " lost" friends that we lost count. To say we had a great visit was a understatement. Only one regret was we'd made plans for later that day. One fantastic day.!!!! Just like old times. Thanks to everyone.
