Food totally not as described took 1 hour 35 minutes to come half of it was burnt to the extent it was unedible and what we could eat was disgusting do not buy from here

Food is nice but quite expensive so this is always a treat for us. When the pizza arrives it is always messed up,, like someone has tipped the pizza on the side. All the topping ends up on one part and it's nightmare to sort out. It's happened too often now so going to find somewhere else, somewhere where they know how to carry pizzas. When you pay this amount of money you don't want to play build a pizza as well.

Worse pizza I've ever had supposed to be a deep pan but thinner than a a pita bread and soggy also gave me food poisoning after one bite had to throw away. Never would I recommend these to anyone.

Food is good, but the service is terrible they consintrate on delivery and ignore people in the shop

Ordered seafood pizza .got a ham pizza . vile.cheesy chips cold and all stuck together.vile .kids pizza meal was ok ordered Dr pepper got coke .free garlic bread rotten no wonder it's free red velvet cake dry and tasteless Won't bother ordering again so disappointed as normally food is at least edible

We travelled up from Yorkshire for a family event, we were staying at the Lambton Arms and ordered food to be delivered as we don't know the area, they took our food order then 10 minutes later rang back to tell us they wouldn't deliver to a pub even though we were prepared to pay for delivery, the man was very rude and abrupt!! We asked why he wouldn't deliver and his response was..... because I said so!!! We were actually recommended this take away! Not very friendly and their customer service skills are zero!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting attitude!!! You really need to try and be nice to potential customers!!!!

Ordered chicken and Donna kebab for the Mrs for Saturday nite takeaway and I ordered Steak supreme pizza and it was awful - cheese was stringy / pure slop rang the shop young lady passed me onto a gentleman who asked what the problem was told him “pizza was like slop” did not resolve the issue (was not interested in sorting it) so will not be setting foot back in to that takeaway, plenty out there so lots of selection. Busy cooking my Saturday nite tea and nearly £10 out of pocket for the pizza. ANNOYING

Possibly the best takeaway pizza, chicken kebab and cheesy garlic bread I've ever had. Lots of large chunks of well flavoured chicken, well cooked. Not chewy or dry. Beautiful There were big slices of cooked garlic and plenty of mozzarella. Really nice dough. Was the garlicyest (is that a word) garlic bread ever. They don't shirk on the toppings , tons or tuna and onion and theres something about the tomato sauce they use. The whole thing was great. I wasn't expecting it from just another pizza takeaway. Had the rest next day on the way home. People complain about the price, well make your own mind up but it's well worth it to me. Same with the staff. Ok they weren't smiley happy people but who cares. I don't usually do long reviews, but this is an exception. Hope we visit Chester Le St again soon

Food was delishess and well priced, plentiful and fresh. Really enjoyed it and will be back again. Chilli dip is lovely with a little kick to it. All food was fresh to order and tasted really nice. Staff where nice and place was very clean.

First time I have used this place and it will probably be the last the pizza was of however the price they think they are in London not Chester.

Very rude and then a member of staff disrespected my wife I responded and It all kicked off with one member of staff grabbing my throat. I requested the police to be called but to no avail so we left the premises with our order which was disgusting and went in a bin in chester le street. These people need to respect our culture and not abuse our female partners.

Never use this place. Waited over an hour to be told they they couldn't deliver as they were to busy. Took money from account and didn't even bother to call us, just left us expecting food which wasn't coming.

Partly wrong order twice in a row. Ordered chips with my kebab but both times it came with salad. Chased it up last time but the food was cold by the time they delivered them. Won't bother this time but stick with other food shops in the future.

Ordered the Mexican pizza as it came with salsa and garlic dip. Order delivered half an hour before specified time, but didnt mind that too much. No salsa or garlic dip with delivery however there was a free small garlic bread. Called to enquire as to why no salsa or garlic dip and was told no longer sold with this pizza despite the online menu stating otherwise. Dont think I will be ordering from here again. Pizza was quite bland if I'm honest.

Staff couldn't take an order correctly so when rang back to say things had been missed off my order they were quite happy to send the missing items out but would have to pay extra delivery again and the delivery drivers don't carry change with them so they Rob you of your money too.

I have been going here every Friday for mine and my children's takeaway night and it has always been great. However the past two times I have ordered I am not happy with what we have received. They have changed the chips and the chicken nuggets and they are not as good as they used to be. Definitely time to find somewhere else.

True it did used to be a good takeaway i went to go in the other night before i even got through the door they started with wears your mask i says i was exempt he had a cheek he never had a mask on 1 out of 4 staff working behind the counter at the time had masks on like they say one for one and one for another

The last time I'll ever spend money with you, apparently a pepperoni pizza is a margarita and after two attempts still the same. The attitude you give was shocking. Lucky I didn't come throw the pizza off you. T wat Once a great place but hope you shutdown for all I care.

This was once a great takeaway but after many management changes and staff it has fallen from grace stopped using them in favour of bridge end pizza at bottom of Chester Le Street you will not be disappointed

I just had a mixed kebab and a Tikka chicken kebab from here. Consisted of dry, partially burnt tough chicken. Couldn't recognise Tikka in there at all. I know these are awful days, but this was terrible. Chips where cold as well.

Been once for just a tray of chips, disgusting! Greasy with a strange taste, was ill through the night because of them and had not had a drink, never use again! Better take aways other side of the road junction but NOT hollathans as it’s customer service is just as bad as the food at Baxter’s, VILE!!

Told delivery would be 45mins to an hour. Waited nearly 2 hours. Chips and pizza lukewarm, kebab hot but no pitta/naan.

The food is good & generous portions but I will NEVER order a Baxsters from just eat. A) it’s never the right order. B) there’s always something missing. C) I don’t know if it’s different chefs when you order from just eat, but the food is cold, swimming in grease & tiny portions. 4**** for Baxsters without just eat. 0* when ordered from just eat.

Are they starting to use frozen pizza bases as they at not as nice now ??

This is the first time I have ever recieved a DIY donner kebab! Lol. They throw all the ingredients to actually make a donner into a bag. There was lots of meat but fries weren't very nice. A lump of meat, two raw pittas a tiny a tub of chilli- "there you go mate, make a kebab!". I paid you £6 for YOU to make my kebab, not to have to put it together myself!

The behavior of a member of staff here was absolutely disgusting yesterday. Swearing at people who weren't even in shop. Would never go back.

Would be more than 2 stars if I didn't have to deal with an incorrect order and disappointing food. Ordered a donner pizza and apparently it can be misunderstood for a chicken and pineapple pizza. I then had to wait 25 minutes for the correct order to be delivered and to hand the pizza back to the deliv driver which turns they didn't want back probably because it was now COLD. So the 2 stars is for the fact I now have a months load of extra chilli and garlic sauces, 2 12" pizzas and an average garlic bread. On the plus my other half enjoyed his chicken kebab. Would not recommend. Thanks.

If I could have put no stars I would have!! Pile of absolute shite, got the order wrong yet again, nd the stupid delinquent of a delivery driver you have, dropped most of our order off t someone else’s address meaning one of us had to go without having any tea at all! Won’t be going back in a hurry that’s for sure!

Used to be good here until this last order, pizza massively under cooked and missing items from the order, phoned waited another half hour fresh pizza arrived, still missing items from the order. Never again.

Baxter absolute joke ordered a munchbox kebab they brought a chicken kebab and a dinner kebab seprate MISSING garlic bread chilli and garlic and obviously sent them as seprate kebabs and not the munchbox as requested I sent it back they brought back a munch box with no chips so I sent it back again 1 hour ago I rang saying where is my food or money he said you sent food back I said yeah coz had no chips on it he said you kept chips from previous order witch I sent back with the 2 kebabs he started shouting saying no you didn't give your self around of applause Baxters and yes I'm still waiting for my money back

Will not be ordering from here again. Baxters got my order wrong, when I rang up to say the man was rude, abrupt and made me feel awful. He would not accept that he made a mistake, not only sending the wrong thing but the wrong size. He misunderstood what I asked for because he was rushing and there was a clear language barrier for him. Not impressed at all with this service. I was shocked.

Always been a VERY regular customer but I am afraid no more for me. Customer service awful too many mistakes,yet again order received incorrectly and when ring to correct made to sound stupid. Goodbye baxters hello dona papa your next door neighbours you had the opportunity to correct it

Ordered 2 pizzas and scampi and chips. The scampi and chips must have been made well before the pizzas, the meal was cold and no tartar source provided. Binned the meal-really disappointed. Baxters meals are usually good, but not tonight. i will not be going back anytime soon.

Order never correct always something missing I think it's done deliberately

Cold jacket potato ... pizza ordered was not what was received in fact pizza recieved was not even on the menu.. called to complain to be told there was a new menu however clearly not as we used the pizzas from just eat to choose... and to top it off diet coke ordered full fat coke recieved .

I always enjoy the food but its a big let down when part of your order is missing not only tonight but on other occasions aswel maybe its time to try somewhere else and see if I'm delivered what I actually pay for !!!

I've only used this place once but the pepperoni pizza I ordered was lovely. It looks clean and cared for which gives you a bit of comfort.

Best in Chester for pizzas/babs/burgers - always good.
