Castle Pizza in County Durham

They do the most amazing delicious food ever!!! I 100% recommend. From pizza to kebab to chip, to dips. Everything is just so delicious 😋 😊

So I did post on just eat but the owner felt he should removed the comment so I’m gonna post it on here Been on the toilet all day because of the food we ate from here and the pizza was inedible as there were hair all over the food clearly the cook don't know hygiene please stay away from here everyone eat at your own risk ⚠️

Parmo was burnt chips weren't cooked properly won't be ordering again and it was late by an hour

Ordered a pizza and a shawarma , honestly one of the best if not the best that I have eaten. Very fast delivery as well. Will definitely order again!

Great food but missing portion of chips.

Pizza seemed to be cold and stale was as if it had been microwaved, the parmo seemed the same the cheese was hard and did not look like it had been freshly prepared and cooked for delivery. I'm sorry but I honestly wouldn't order from here again.

So, I hadn't ordered from here in a while since the takeaway was renamed/taken over by someone new and my previous orders were lacking in quality, but the quality seems to have improved greatly within the last few months. I'll definitely be back to ordering from here more often.

The shop was closed didn’t say it was and has still took the money out my bank and we haven’t got the food I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

Tried ordering on just eat said it was open and was delivering also took the money out my friends bank but we didn't get our food!!!!

the food was good, the only reason why it's 3 star is because specifically ordered a ham pizza, AND THEY GAVE ME A HAM AND MUSHROOM PIZZA.

All the food and drink was brilliant, absolutely no faults whatsoever.

Absolutely fantastic! ordered vegetarian hot calzone at approx 6.30pm requested delivery at 9pm. also asked for salad instead of chips and was very pleasantly surprised to get a very generous helping rather than just a scratty little box! Both garlic and chilli dips were also gorgeous. Delivery guy was absolutely lovely too. wish I could rate higher than 5*

Delivery driver was extremely rude, claimed rang door bell but when I checked the camera he never did, he wondered why I didn’t hear him knock when he came 45 mins earlier than the earliest time estimate. Very rude put me off ordering again. A shame, food is lovely.

Had a 40% off deal which is crazy this day and age. Food is always amazing, delivery is canny fast considering it's out of town. One item was missing to which the store sorted out within 10 minutes, the driver which could have been the owner was very apologetic even though it wasn't that big of a deal as it's euro season so can imagine they're busy.

It was still hot and was absolutely delicious. Definitely ordering from here again.

Castle Pizza is my number 1 place to order from now. The food is delicious, always arrives hot and they deliver so fast. A lot of places are unreliable with delivery even with the food is good but when I order from here, I know it's going to arrive quickly and taste fantastic!

Foods always piping hot and beautiful wouldn’t order from anywhere else

pizza was burnt, the burger had no salad, no sauce and was extremely dry, asked for a 1.5 litre bottle of 7-up and received 4 cans, the chilli sauce tasted sour, as if it was off.

Order from here most weeks this was disgusting my pizza not cooked raw peppers raw onion and my hubby's pizza tasted like they just poured vinegar all over it Delivery guy said he was knocking for ages looked thru window to get attention never heard him knock once. Not good not happy 😕

Disppointed with both boxes tonight am afraid to say.... portion sizes was on the small side which was surprised as normal great value for money...also scampi was very overcooked

The food was cold, the delivery driver crashed into me and my son over the weekend at 60 over a roundabout and was once again confrontational with me. What an awful experience with awful food quality and quantity. Will not be ordering from here again.

Disappointed with the SFC tonight overcooked hard and inedible chicken(looked like frozen one's)😕 and hardly any cheese on gbc...usually spot on as well

Lovely food, hot and delivered earlier than expected

Order from heat quite a lot and never really have a problem, but ordered today and can’t say the food was the best, the curry sauce we got was terrible, was so thick and wasn’t like a sauce at all. Doner meat wasn’t that hot and we ordered the chocolate fudge cake and literally got the smallest slice ever, which is a rip off for the money paid for it, will be putting in a refund request for it

delivery driver can't fault him polite and friendly the food is amazing however extremely disappointed the food is the same price however it seems to be halved in portion not worth the price this is a £7.50 parmo at it's best no where near £9.00 I really like this place however if this is price per portion going forward I maybe forced to look elsewhere

Third time order wrong or missing items

yes it was late, but they let me know, and this is I like, and I was not worried about. the food was okay everyone enjoyed thank you 😊

Only 2 issues and that is the taste of the chicken nuggets in the mixed fry and the Kiev pizza doesn't state that it comes with onion

Never had a problem with the food from castle pizza, however we have always collected. Tonight we had decided to get our food delivered, and was disappointed as our food arrived nearly half an hour late and was stone cold. We ended up spending another 15 minutes heating it up for our extra hungry children. Also when asking for updates on our food order we were told 3 minutes but that was before I even mentioned our address or our what our order was.

Was hardley any cheese on the cheesy chips pizza like cardboard and freezing

Came out for delivery and couldn’t find us so took it back when I phoned to ask where food was they said they would remake it and send it but when it did come it was cold and battered , obviously the first order that was cooked forty minutes earlier

normally I try to give the benefit of the doubt however this time I found my self annoyed I phoned up the restaurant to say my order was 30 minutes late no apologies from them just it will be thre in 5 minutes 13 minutes later it turned up no apologies from the driver absolutely shocking customer service was I expecting a discount no just a bit of common customer courtesy would have done

normally delivery is ok however this time it was late the driver was trying to be apologetic but didn't speak very good English witch made things difficult however he seemed very genuine and friendly ( which made up for the latenes which unlike some other companies at least he was nice 🙂)

Terrible food. Dry and lacking taste. The portion of food was so small I was tempted to order another takeaway. Complete rip of, £20 for nothing. Shame on you. Your customers are your livelihood and you take us for granted. Hope you have an awful Xmas

Incredibly disheartening and utterly lamentable! This dining affair, or lack thereof, unfolded as a saga of woeful inefficiency and exasperating wait times. A staggering hour and a half languished by before the semblance of human contact emerged via the phone line. The promised delivery, shrouded in the cloak of a driver's purported breakdown, met its demise in an instant cancellation courtesy of Just Eat. Alas, the anticipated repast remained a mere figment of hopeful hunger, failing to materialize after such an egregious hour and a half of anticipatory expectancy.

20 minutes late but the friendliest of the delivery guy ( always seems polite and friendly ) and the food quality makes this one of my favourites definitely worth the money

Wrong type of pizza turned up . Ordered a deep pan and it was a thin crust ...gutted . Very tasty though but a think the deep pan would of been better

I usually order from this takeaway when getting calzones as I believe that they are the best in the area. They have recently renamed their business on Just Eat which is VERY suspicious and have also rejected my most recent order. I will amend my review when I start having good experiences with this business again, if that day comes at all.

chips were highlight of meal ordered hot wing meal kebab parmo and cheesie chip wrap however parmo lacked in cheese and bechemel sauce kebab was hard and hot wings dry and tasteless

Spoke to the delivery driver when he turned up was not offered an apology for lateness nor any explanation just got mumbled at and asked for payment

Food not received staff not helpful and rude

Food was good, but the driver was literally blasting music from his car when he arrived which caused neighbours to come out of their houses to see which degenerate was making all the noise.

No idea when food came as got no knock on the door, food was cold and there was barely any kebab meat on it, won't be ordering from there again

Rang and the driver said he had been and there was no answer, this isn’t true as I have cameras and a dog that goes crazy when someone knocks at the door still waiting for my food abs it was ordered at 6pm
