Having been in the Chester le Street shop just before 10am a couple of days ago, items missing to be able to order. Planned on ordering a sandwich so I could take it with me ready for lunch. (In advance I'll say the boards are advertising "order your breakfast" which makes a joke of the missing item) I always order the chicken breast and chicken. In front of me was a lad being served. So I was looking in the tubs as I'm waiting. I can only see about a 3cm piece of bacon in that tub. The lass then looks to take my order, I asked if there was any more bacon..... to be told no (come on Subway.... no bacon near 10am and you're trying to promote breakfast..... I think it's more likely the member of staff couldn't be bothered to go and get another tub from out of the back - and yes, this does happen as I've been told before no certain item but on passing the window 5 mins or so later the tubs are full) - so no bacon....... I replied that I'd need to think of something else (I was offered sausage- had the server had bothered to find out what the order was going to be then sorry sausage wasn't an option- when I'd said no, I was told she was trying to think of breakfast items, I explained i wasn't there for a breakfast sandwich). Then I also couldn't see any chicken breast, queried this as well..... to be told no chicken breast only rotisserie style chicken- I ended up having to go with this - I actually didn't want this, but I did need to order a sandwich for my lunch - there was absolutely no texture to the rotisserie chicken, I did want lettuce on the sandwich but I couldn't go for that as the air was oxidising it as it was left out to the elements. There was also hardly any sweetcorn in the tub. Come on guys, give yourselves a shake if it's the case of you're waiting for a delivery (as it was claimed) then as a business that runs on its stock - you need to ensure that you've ordered more than enough to keep you going until your next delivery (yes hard to predict as you'll never know how many orders you could get..... but no bacon before 10am...... really) or if it was the case of the lass couldn't be bothered to fill the tubs up then this needs to be addressed If I'd has the time, I'd have driven to Washington or The Arnison Centre

Missing a 12” garlic bread side, 2 cookies and none of the orders were toasted when all 3 should have been. Absolutely terrible

So frustrated! Yes I got PART of my order on time but the main item (the sub) was missing. I tried to call them on phone tor 30 mins and it’s obviously being ignored as no answer. I now have to go through Just Eat for a refund which will no doubt take ages!

I want to start off by saying I am admittedly lazy and don't review often enough however..... £34.60 order made via just eat •An entire sub missing •Sides were incorrect •Mocha drink sent instead of Choc milkshake (no communication about this) •Food wasn't even lukewarm, was all stone cold •Late Took food back next day, said not to request refund via just eat and to call shop to get order redone sometime in the future.... Yeah good luck getting them to answer phone AVOID! Order literally anywhere else

when we received our delivery the delivery bag wasn't sealed, we were missing one of the two foot long sandwiches we had ordered and we ordered a 6 foot meal deal which asks you to choose a sandwich, drink, snack and sweet snack and we only received the sandwich and drink.

ordered a chicken and bacon submelt but they decided to leave the chicken out of my sandwich so it went in the bin. sent coke zero instead of normal coke and tai sweet chilli crisps instead of cheese doritos. my daughters sandwich was fine luckily ..... worst subway I've had and its not the first time they've messed my order up at this branch

Not one thing from this order was correct. Margarita slice had no cheese. In fact nothing had cheese. There was no southwest sauce on my salad or with the waffle fries. There was no cucumber or red onion on the 6" sub as requested. If you had a problem fulfilling my order you should have used the phone number provided to call me, instead I had to cook food for most of my family after this disgusting excuse of an order arrived. Also tried calling the shop 27 time, engaged everytime. total joke!!!

If I could give less than 1 star I would on the call for 20 mins saying user busy and have missed half of my order terrible service

got the order severely incorrect. PLAYDOH tasting waffle fries and hashbrowns. expecting a milkshake? WRONG. we received a coffee. picture this. you order a fun chocolate milkshake for your only child. her whole life has led up to this moment. she is ecstatic for her milkshake. opening the bag, eyes beaming to only see a miniature bottle of a chocolate flavoured coffee. sauce only half filled to the top. didn’t even receive our cookies. PURE DISAPPOINTMENT. do better subway, for our future.

Been here today. Two ladies behind the counter gossiping, one young lady doesn’t have a clue what shes doing and clearly needs more training. Ordered a BBQ chicken and bacon, didn’t get asked what type of bread I wanted just got given white. The chicken tasted awful, dried out and had no flavor. The chairs and tables were covered in stains and crumbs. I use subway weekly and I must say this is the worst I have been to in the north east.

All three sandwiches had no cheese took photos of the meals as when you're paying £16 for a sandwich with cheese double and peppered cheese you'd expect to see or taste it inside of your sandwich. Wrong breads too ridiculous.

Amazing service!! I have Autism and like my food a certain way! Staff have followed my instructions. Would highly recommend ordering from Subway Chester Le Street.

My order came 3 hours after ordering. Bag was open and some food eaten. I confronted delivery driver and he said. We have to open bag to take receipt off. Which this has never happened before. I went inside to see some of the food had been eaten. The chicken and cheese out of the salads had gone . Food was delivered 1 hour and 10 minutes late

9 times out of 10 when I order from here something is missing from my order. Trying to claim back from JustEat for part of a Meal Deal is a nightmare. Such a shame as the food I did receive was delicious. However this has happened several times now & Im reluctant to order from here again. The delivery is always disappointing too. Either an hour and a half late or 50 mins early like today. Very poor. Need to do better.

took over an hour to make one sandwich. food arrived 2 hours after i ordered. all i ordered was a sub, a cookie and a fanta. food came cold and thrown together. bread was so tough i ended up giving most of it to my dog. and got a water instead of fanta. should’ve definitely read the reviews before ordering. don’t order from here

Driver arrived and said "you live a long way away, if you order again we will cancel" Unbelievably rude, food was cold, ordered 12 cheese bites but only 5 in the box and the Chipotle southwest sauce was just pink mayo, tasteless. Don't worry Subway, you won't need to cancel my next order as there won't be one.

For hot sides the pigs in blankets was cold the crinkle cut wedges was cold and wasn’t cooked long enough. Not enough cheese on the nachos and they were cold and the classic BMT was cold.

Considering I placed order at 12.45 it didn't come until 2 hours later,all 3 cookies with meals were not the ones we ordered,the crisps weren't the ones we picked and one of the bottles of pop were wrong,what's the point in giving you a choice if they going to put anything in the bag,also one of the cookies was broken into 4 pieces
