We only used this as a takeaway service but the food was fantastic and generous portions. Shame it didn't get a chance to be established.

Had fish and chips twice from Battered, first time average when they first opened but thought try again might be teething problems. 2nd visit today. Wasted £20 on hard, stale chips, sausage in batter full of oil. Fish was ok but that’s because we think that it was the only thing that they cooked fresh. Never again.

Very disappointed with the delivery from this shop last night. The chips were old and hard making most of them inedible. The fish was good however the batter was very thick. Such a shame as the first time the food was good that’s why we ordered again.

I got take away fish & chips, very good quality, big order, all correct and on time. Will definitely be my new fish & chip restaurant. Haven’t eaten in the restaurant yet, but can’t wait

We had good freshly-battered fish and chips, and sefood tagliatelli, and were well looked-after by the staff.

Stayed next door and booked a table for dinner on line, quick and simple to do. Arrived and shown straight to our table and was served by Sophie who took our drinks order. Great choice of food including a list of specials. The food arrived which was hot and plentiful and tasted lovely. Followed this with a desert again spot on. All round impressed and would definitely recommend. Thanks again to Sophie for the great service and chat.

I've gone to a lot of Pie n Mash shops in and around London over the year and I can say Tony's is by far the best. Really, really good, from start to finish. Plenty of seating and very clean. As for the pie n mash, some of the best I've ever had and a special shout out for the liquor which was not weak and runny like you get at some other places. Only word of advice, it gets very busy around 12 till 2. so you may have to wait, but it's worth it. 10/10

Great cafe with a smashing atmosphere. Food was priced cheaply and of very good quality. I loved it and will be going again. Well done.
