I ordered the gluten free pizza with salami, mushrooms and truffles. The base tasted like cardboard, there was virtually no tomato sauce and the truffles were non existent. Really poor quality for the price they are charging.

Horrible experience - ordered through Deliveroo - never got the order, the driver didn't contact us nor rang our gate anytime, and when we called the restaurant it was closed. The order (which was supposed to be delivered in 20 min) showed as "under delivery" for 2+ hours and then it was somehow magically marked as "delivered" even though we never got it. Also the restaurant delivers its own orders so the Deliveroo team could not even help in any way. Absolutely horrible experience... One should not accept orders if this is how they treat their customers. And it should be taken off Deliveroo - I can see there are 10+ other reviews below exactly the same.

Arrived 2 hours late and stone cold. Restaurant blamed Deliveroo and Deliveroo blamed the restaurant. Threw it away. I did get my money back

Oh my god I used to love basilico, but what on Earth has happened??? The meat is cheap compared to what it was, the mushrooms are obviously cheap and considering the prices are still the same, what??? If you changed owner then that person is going a horrible job. Please come back, I love you so much and I want my old pizza place back. I was more than happy to pay the prize but like…. Might as well go to the chip shop

This is undoubtedly the worst experience I have ever had from any business. Ordered online. No one answered the phone when I telephoned to ask why the food was late and whether there was a problem. Then when we telephoned a little later to see if there was any progress there was a message saying it was now closed. The food never arrived. I was charged for the food that I did not get. When I telephoned the next day to see what happened the person who answered was extremely rude. He suggested that I ordered after 11pm when they were closed (not correct it was much earlier). He was very argumentative and offered me proof from their system I ordered after 11pm (I know when I ordered I did not need a lecture telling me it was an entirely different time - I also have an email receipt from 9.52pm which was received after I made my order). TERRIBLE SERVICE. RUDE SERVICE. DO NOT USE.

So we paid for 18 inch pizza online which cost 17.95 pounds. They delivered a much smaller pizza, we rang up to find out what had happened and were absolutely shocked by how rude and useless the staff were. They blamed just eat, but have done nothing to rectify this issue, so this is surely a scam. Its a shame cause the pizza was nice, but it was in no way worth 17.95 pounds. Absolute scam.

We ordered pizza online and after 2 hours, had zero communication to update us on delivery. The phone lines went completely unanswered and the pizza has never arrived. Terrible service. Avoid ordering here!

Pizza is hard. Staff is very rude. Quite expensive. A pretty lousy experience. Suggest you go elsewhere

We stay in air bnb next door and we ordered few times pizza at basilico for take away suggested by a neighborhood restaurant and we really enjoyed quality topping and very light dough

My husband and I used to order Pizza from Basilico for a long time now. Today we fancied a pizza for lunch and decided to order a pizza again since it used to be one of the best pizzas however the pizza arrived late and cold. That can happen but what motivated me to write this review is the incredibly terrible customer service that I have ever encountered. When my husband called to say that the pizza is called a guy yelled at him and told him to come to the shop and show him and when he went to shop to talk to him ( since he hung up the phone) he was actually hiding and another rude lady was attacking us. It sounds like a real comedy but if you want to go to the theatre and see a show you might as well order a pizza there because it is so incredibly rude and clueless and horrible that it is funny again. The people really do need training and thank god one can order pizza somewhere else! Shame I lost 40£ that I will still try to get back but looking at all the other reviews it seems terrible that a business is allowed to trade like this. Do yourself a favour and order somewhere else and for the theatre- there is better shows in London then this circus for sure.

It was a hot London evening and we wanted a quick supper in our air-conditioned hotel room. Basilico was a short walk away and their pizza and salad hit the spot. I like thin-crust pizza, which is what they provide.

The quality of the pizza is actually ok....that’s if you don’t mind waiting well beyond the expected delivery time for it. The past 3 times either myself or my boyfriend have ordered from here they’ve been well over 30 minutes late with no other explanation than ‘we’re busy’. The chef is super rude and will give you the same response if you call of ‘oh your driver is 2-3 minutes away’ but it’s clear she doesn’t have a clue. I actually saw a glimmer of hope when the owner contacted me once when I made a complaint about the chef and she said she would credit my account, however that didn’t happen. It’s such a shame as it used to be such a good pizza place to order from if you have allergies, however their customer service is so terrible it’s just not worth it and you have no idea if your pizza will arrive or not - something I think is pretty important when you’re paying basically double for not much more.

I've been buying pizza from Basilico for years, both the Hampstead and Marylebone branches. I used to really enjoy it and didn't mind paying a bit extra compared to other places because they sold vegan cheese (before that was widely available) and the quality was good. Unfortunately that has changed. They regularly miss toppings off orders and today they gave me dairy feta in addition to vegan feta. I accidentally ate some of it before I realised. I've been vegan for 12 years for ethical and moral reasons. Eating meat or cheese goes against my beliefs. Thankfully I don't have an allergy. Basilico need to take better care in their preparation because their negligence could lead to a death and a prison sentence for unlawfully killing by reason of gross negligence. Don't say you provide allergen free food and then carelessly put the ingredient in anyway. In addition to the sloppy care around toppings, the food has gone down hill. Pizzas are regularly burnt. The garlic bread I had last time could be snapped in two, was completely dry and had barely any garlic. They did give me a partial refund as online credit but the minimum spend was £25 which is more than I would usually spend and I had to buy extras I didn't really want to get the discount. I'm disappointed to say I won't be buying pizza from here again. I'm fed up with the poor quality and constantly wrong orders. Sending out a replacement pizza doesn't make up for the mistakes. I'll be buying my pizza from Zizzi, ICCO, Franco Manco, Pizza Express, Voodoo Ray's or any of the now readily available and cheaper places that sell vegan pizza.

If we get pizza delivery, its always from Basilico! You have so many options for They're do the best tasting pizza and their salads are so delicious. Great fresh juices too. Highly recommend them.

Does not deserve even a 1 star review. I regularly order from this place when I visit London but never again after the experiene I had yesterday. Myself and a few friends had just landed in London after an hour delay and decided to order pizza. It was the most difficult process I have ever encountered. The "manager" was completely dismissive and unhelpful. After trying two card transacations which apparently failed (I will be checking over the next few days), they would not allow us to collect the pizza or pay cash. I evenutally gave up and ended the call. We then found out we had been charged for the full order and called back. The "manager" demanded proof of purchase and proceeded to call out a personal e-mail and almost on purpose added letters here and there and then changed their mind. We sent several screenshots of the charge and asked for a refund. This again seemed impossible to get. We then ordered from Zonzo pizza which was seamless! Far better pizza, excellent service and much cheaper. Basilico need to remove open until 12am from their website if you cannot collect your delivery or reinstate the working hours to your staff because they did everything possible not to take our sale.

Had a takeaway pizza from Basilico and was extremely surprised at how good it was. Excellent thin delicious base and very generous toppings. I had mushrooms and was really surprised at the quality of the wild mushrooms. Excellent will definitely order from here again.

As the title starts, the best thin crust pizza delivery in Marylebone. Albeit part of a small group - their pizza are delicious & fresh. A touch expensive - but that's normal for the area!
