I keep getting spam messages from them. In order to stop receiving them I have to send a message to an number that costs me £0.15. I know it's not much, but it's outrageous that I have to pay some 3rd party because Basilico can't honor my marketing preferences. I tried to contact them to no avail. I tried to mark the numbers I'm getting the spam from, but I still keep getting them. I stopped buying from them specifically because of this long ago. But I still can't get them to stop to spam me. (I just sent the stop SMS message hoping that it will stop)

Originally Italian, I can still say this is the best pizza I have tried so far in London. My kids ask me to get this pizza often - our new Friday night favourite!! We have tried many different flavours of Basilico’s pizza, and they have all been great quality and absolutely delicious! Well worth the price, and would definitely recommend!

PLEASE DO NOT order from this restaurant via Deliveroo. This is the second time I have ordered from this restaurant via Deliveroo and both times have been very disappointing. The pizza I received this evening was extra salty. The toppings were hard. This pizza had obviously been cooked many hours ago and then just re-heated in the microwave and sent to me. Of course, I threw it in the bin. I am very disappointed. I told Deliveroo what had happened, but they were very unsympathetic. Told me to take the matter up directly with the restaurant and that there was nothing they could do.

Greasy and salty pizza, slippery and yucky mushrooms, over-baked dough. Very disappointing. Will not come again.

I ordered a pizza from the Wandsworth branch with wild mushrooms, salami and caramelised onions. I received it and it tasted sour. So I called the restaurant and said it may be the salami that’s off. I changed the meat and they sent a me new pizza - but it still tasted really sour. Then after a few bites, my lips and nose started tingling and then swelling. I started to have an allergic reaction - so two pizzas had to be thrown in the bin. When I called them again to tell the restaurant about this, the guy got angry at me and refused to refund me. It transpired they were putting vinegar on the pizza and im severely allergic to vinegar. I’ve had to miss work and im £25 down with an allergic reaction. Who puts vinegar on a pizza?! They still haven’t refunded me and the pizza tasted awful. Do not order from them.

I ordered from the Marlyebone branch a few years ago . The pizza was amazing. When I found out there was one in Limehouse I was excited to try it but it tasted DISGUSTING , they were stingy with the toppings which was quite cheeky considering the high price. None of the staff making food were wearing masks, I will NEVER order from Basilico again , it was a horrible experience. My pizza was cold too, waht a waste of money .

Order £85 for 3 pizza and 3 mac n cheese ( packed up same week before) the pizza was nice but the mac n cheese came in a pot that was very small (3times smaller then when I picked it up and when I phoned they didn't give a monkeys . All I got was phone back tomorrow, don't mind paying for good food but they robbed us blind on the mac n cheese £5 for 2 mouthfuls of disgusting ,wont go back after this 🤬

I chose to ignore the prices for 10” £14, 12” £18, 18” £24. A standard Italian pizza is circa 12” so I went for this. I chose my fave Diavola, This version in addition to porky fatty thin-sliced salami also had dollops of Nduja sausage. spicy overall. Despite I had asked for no chilli it still had a hot spicy kick to it as a Diavola should have. It was very oil. The cheese chewy. The bread thin and little crust which was a postive but the bread lacked taste. The pizza was very salty and I drank loads of water during and after. Basilico praises itself as finest wood-fired pizza but as pizza ought to be eaten by hand, I was surprised seeing my fingers blackish with charcoal. Easily washable. I’ve given Basilico two stars because I was hungry enough to eat it but it not only fell short of my expectations, I would only buy it again as last resort. I do like my pizza and all types so if I am to pay service charge etc to get it delivered I might as well go for something else. This pizza cost me £21.60 plus tip for Uber delivery.

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered two pizza’s and I found hair in one of them. I called the restaurant to get it resolved. The guy on the phone was horrible argued, shouted and even hung up the phone when I was talking. He then called me again and I asked for his name he became very aggressive, defensive and refused. He then called me again much calmer and I told him how unprofessional he has been and that I want his name. He finally told me his name is Abdul.

Ordered pizza online with wine. Rang me to say no wine but offered Prosecco. Pizza was delivered hot and delicious will order them again

I last ordered in 2014 once for take away, without knowing my details were stored and 6, yes 6 years later I randomly receive a text message advertising their services!! I therefore emailed their Limehouse branch to advise them to remove my details now that they’ve received my request - haven’t even bothered to respond. Don’t deserve business, do yourself a favour - buy a decent pizza elsewhere without being scammed!

Great selection of pizza, unique to all the different chains out there. The pizza is very light, not too heavy so fills you just right for all the pizza lovers out there and its vegan friendly.

I ordered some takeaway that never arrived. I had to contact deliveroo to have a refund. The deliveroo customer service was great. After more than an hour I was waiting for my food to arrive and after deliveroo contacted the restaurant I received a call from them saying they didn't have what I ordered. Disappointing .

I ordered pizza from here via Deliveroo. It took 90 mins to arrive when it suggested 15 mins. It was cold and had barely any cheese or toppings. They were also incapable of using the buzz system on the building so I had to go outside in the rain to collect. The worst pizza and service I’ve ever had. Really don’t bother. Waste of time and money.

Great pizza that was prepared excellently. Friendly and hospitable staff in a well run kitchen while we waited, it was so good we ate it in the shop instead of taking it home.

They accepted my online order, they phone me to cancel on the side but left it open so I got charged £25. I called the same day to ask them to cancel so I could get the refund (they tried to make me cancel where I'd get charged 50%) and later in the week.

We ordered online for a delivery this evening. The delivery was supposedly 45minutes. After 1.5 hours I attended the restaurant and found out they hadn’t even started making the pizza. The poor cook was on her own and clearly flustered (the last time I visited this place there were at least 5 people in the kitchen)

This has to be the dankest ting me and the mandem had ever tasted. The ting tasted like heaven on earth.

Muy decepcionado con el servicio. Hice un pedido en línea para una entrega de 12: 15 a Canary Wharf para un almuerzo de pizza del equipo organizado por mi jefe. Recibí un correo electrónico de confirmación de inmediato. Intenté llamar a las 11: 15 para asegurarme de que había sido recibido. I booked online and opted for delivery within 45 minutes, but the pizza only arrived after 75 minutes when I called to ask where it was, and then it was cold, with no hint of apology from anyone. It would probably have been a nice pizza made with good ingredients if delivered when still hot, but as we had to reheat it the crust was chewy and the whole thing past it’s best. Not what you expected for the relatively high price. I don’t think I’ll be back, and probably only worth buying if you opt for collection as it seems the slow delivery let down an otherwise good idea.

in terms of pure taste of the pizza filling, this was the best I have ever had. the dough crust was a little too hard, but otherwise it was excellent. however, it costs about 20% too much- dearer for a takeaway than eating in a restaurant.

I ordered a pizza from here on Deliveroo and it was NOTHING like the picture or the description. None of the ingredients were added apart from some low quality cheese, when the menu boasted mozarella, basil and grilled cherry tomatoes. This literally turned up with a rock hard slice of regular tomato and none of the other toppings. 10/10 disappointed, don't bother.

Abbiamo soggiornato di fronte a questa pizzeria e il primo giorno che siamo arrivati è stata una salvezza primo perché era tardi e abbiamo preso una pizza che era veramente buonissima e mille gusti da scegliere e secondo perché sono stati molto gentili e cordiali ci hanno prestato un'adattatore per le prese inglesi che noi avevamo dimenticato e quindi saremmo stati senza telefoni fino all'indomani ma loro ci hanno salvato ! Sus ingredientes veganos de pizza son geniales, tuve sus 4 opciones vegetarianas en 2 medias pizzas y todas eran deliciosas. Reading the reviews his, this point has been brought up already on number of occasions, but it needs to be repeated - the above average pricing gives a false premise of quality which is simply not delivered. This was a home delivery order - pizzas arrived late and cold, which did not aid their already rather dry nature - the scarcity of toppings has always been an issue for me with the restaurant but with the dropped service standards, this place hits a new low. Additionally, an extra of a 'burrata topping' arrived in its original little container, labelling and all, in a separate bag - that was a first for me. Next time I won't bother, frozen pizza from a shop would probably win a taste test anyway.

So I felt it was overpriced. Staff polite. Pizza was disgusting and hardly had any toppings. Really tasteless. I did not enjoy. I also didn't enjoy my juice, nor did my friend. It was really quite vile. Was sorry I wasted my money.

So, the family was on vacation in London. We rented an apartment and cooked dinner for ourselves most evenings. We wanted pizza one night and Basilico was directly across the street. The pizza was scrumptious. I was able to order online and it was ready...

We ordered a medium pizza and a ceaser salad. Delivery was very good but the food on the other hand was disappointing. Two flies walked out of the salad and there was a disgusting gritty substance!!! Pizza was bland and forgettable. All of this for £28!! Will not be ordering from there again.

Don't be fooled by the high prices and slick marketing. This is in no way an authentic Italian pizza experience.I had long heard of Basilico and the supposed good quality pizzas, so on this occasion I ordered a mid sized (13") pizza with buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes which cost £15.95.The pizza was extremely bland and boring. Considering I had ordered the buffalo mozzarella, I had expected something a little more flavoursome. The tomato sauce, as one of my friends put aptly, tasted like Campbell Soup. The base was similarly drab and tasteless.They cannot justify charging these prohibitive prices and producing such poor quality pizzas. Franco Manca does a delicious Margherita for well under a tenner which makes Basilico daylight robbery. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

Pretty good tomato sauce. VERY FEW toppings. A bit overpriced. Nice taste.Take away ready in 15 mins and a reduced place to wait. You can pass for groceries to the shop next to the place in the time being.

After the RWC New Zealand-Namibia match we were tired and starving with no mood to spend too much time looking for a restaurant open at 23:00 and just across the street of Limehouse DLR station there it is Basilico. Awesome pizzas.

20£ for the biggest sized pizza seem to me far expensive when you look inside the box as the ingredients are very scarce.Not even the dough shines... Almost a sin having a wood-fired oven.

Ordered a vegetarian pizza which i have to admit was one of the best vegetarian pizzas i have had. Most pizza places chuck your typical veg on ie sweetcorn and peppers but basilico used courgettes and aubergine, very tasty. The staff were also polite and friendly.

Told us they were on the counter and had forgotten them and would deliver them soon? Ordered two pizzas, a sausage and their new pizza at the time, which was a white pizza with bacon and pesto. The sausage pizza had four (4!!) pieces of sausages on it (a 12 inch pizza). The special pizza, which was featured on their take away menu (and looked delicious) looked nothing at all like what was on their menu. But the real kicker is the price you are paying for it!!! So overpriced. If you are in a pinch or starving, the pizza is edible and may taste good if you haven't eaten in days. But there are other options. I won't order this again.

I ordered garlic pizza bread which smelt really nice but didn't have much flavour. The tuna and bean salad I had was lacking in taste but was very fresh and the ice cream I had malt milk chocolate was delicious. There's better pizza places out there which are cheaper, this place was expensive and lacking flavour.

It's expensive this place but frankly it was awful. Pizza tasted like the piece of cardboard that it came in. I don't understand how places like this stay in business because they can't get repeated customers. Supermarket pizzas are better. I had a truffle pizza and even that was rubbish. Delivery was exactly on time so I commend them on that.

It looks like it could be a good pizza place with a wood fired oven but I would strongly advise to avoid it at all costs as the pizza is terrible. Firstly, they barely put anything on it except a bit of tomato sauce. Probably about a heaped teaspoonful of cheese spread over an 18 inch pizza base, I counted 4 small pieces of salami on that same 18 inch pizza, a few slimy mushrooms and that was it! It was barely enough topping to cover a 6 inch pizza - not an exaggeration. I have bought pizzas from there a few times and have told myself every time not to use the place again. Lesson learnt! I definitely wouldn't go back. To make it worse, the pizzas are overpriced.
