Habiendo estado en Wapping durante los últimos meses, tener Pizza Express a la vuelta de la esquina fue útil. ¡Un poco peligroso también con la Pizza Carbonara! Solo fuimos a probarlo, pero seguimos regresando debido al excelente servicio y las sonrisas amables que recibimos. Impresionante espacio.

Servicio rápido y amable en general y comida como se esperaba. Especialmente como esta rama por su amplitud y la luz natural que entra por varios lados, además de pequeñas ventanas de techo. Siempre recomendaría ir con un cupón o usar su aplicación para obtener un descuento, ya que de lo contrario es un poco caro. Un espacio encantador y una buena comida sin estrés con los niños.

The waiter we had for dinner was outstanding. The space is beautiful. The dishes are generally tasty, value for money is OK. Great thing is that they offer a vegan menu.

Als we op de beurs staan in Tobacco dock, even verderop, gaan we altijd hier eten. Gelukkig staat al jaren de Padana Pizza op het menu. met geitenkaas, spinazie en zoete chutney. Dit keer hadden ze als toetje Honeycomb Cream slice,: Overheerlijk. 2 avonden hier gegeten en allbei de keer hetzelfde. Zo lekker! Tot volgende keer!

Aprecio que esta es una cadena bien conocida, pero este puesto de avanzada se encuentra en un encantador almacén convertido con vigas expuestas. El personal es amigable, muy servicial y crea un ambiente amigable para los niños que es realmente atractivo para las personas con familias jóvenes. El restaurante está en dos niveles con un área de abajo que los niños parecen estar a la deriva. Este es un restaurante super relajante del que soy un gran fan.

A brilliant location and an atmospheric docklands warehouse interior to match! The waiter from Northern Ireland was prompt, attentive and genuinely humorous and helpful. The food was what you expect from Pizza Express, always appetising.

Vine aquí con amigos, uno de los cuales funciona para Pizza Express, así que pagamos solo 75 por comida por 4 y 3 botellas de vino. La pizza fue genial, mi compañero y yo compartimos Padana y el nuevo en el menú, Puttanesca pero con mozzarella normal. Padana estaba deliciosa como siempre y la Puttanesca resultó ser realmente buena también. Este es uno de sus mejores restaurantes y no estaba muy ocupado un sábado por la noche. Así que si conoces a alguien que trabaja para Pizza Express, obtén un buen regalo barato.

Enjoyed a family birthday here. Very friendly staff. Guido, our waiter, was brilliant. Food was good and well presented. Although there were 14 of us yhe food came quickly. Recommended.

Visited the restaurant last Saturday with my family, absolutely loved the place, location is really good as well, food was amazing and the service we got from Melvin( manager) and Gosha was fantastic, such a quick service from them. Definitely coming back.

Just been for lunch at the Wapping Lane Pizza Express and it was excellent! I ordered the Calabrese pizza and it was up there with the best pizza’s I’ve had. Thin & crispy with tons of toppings, highly recommended! The staff were lovely too.

The building is amazing. Lovely venu in residential Wapping close to Toabacco Dock and the overground station. Live Music on Thursday. Plenty of space no crowded tables. Very friendly people working there. Food is really good. Excellent time there.

We visit quite often, we really like the calamari and the mac n cheese, and pizzas obviously...but the thing we like more is hernan. Very friendly and genuine.

Los tres de nosotros pagamos una segunda visita al Wapping Pizza Express durante un viernes a mediodía, cuando normalmente es muy tranquila. En esta ocasión, nos sirvieron de Hernán, un muy agradable caballero que hizo la experiencia de comedor más agradable. Los aperitivos y platos principales eran de proporciones generosas y resultó satisfactorio. Ex industrial el interior del restaurante es arquitectónicamente muy interesante. Nuestro agradecimiento también a María, el gerente del restaurante, y Sergei, el chef.

Esta es nuestra Pizza Express y local en algún lugar que visitaremos cuando no quieres cocinar. El edificio es, como la mayoría de PEs, muy especial. En este caso un almacén convertido, como mucho de Wapping. Hay una muy bonita zona de abajo y hace unos años que celebró allí, los Domingos de Jazz, que era genial. Es una pena que este espacio no se utiliza a su potencial. La comida es de confianza y recién preparado, no demasiado caro y el servicio es normalmente bien. No parece una cifra justa de personal.

En realidad acabé comiendo aquí 3 veces durante nuestra visita Londres. La comida y la bebida eran geniales y nos quería llevar a casa Maria con nosotros! Sabíamos que ella era alguien especial cuando ella de alguna manera, después de una visita, se acordaban de todo lo que pedimos desde la primera visita. Teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de personas que espera, este es notable. Me encantó la pizza con una ensalada perfectamente vestidas en el medio. Te hace sentir bien acerca de postre pedir, que es imprescindible! La porción de crema honeycomb es para morirse!

Tuvimos una agradable comida, gracias tarjeta de sabor a un precio razonable. Ten en cuenta que no hay acceso minusválidos debido a estar situado en un edificio catalogado. Nos costó encontrar como mínimo esto significa también la señalización (enfrente de vinos, cafetería canela wapping y coches de elite).

Me he contactado con sede en longitud, así que no tengo intención de entrar en gran detalle aquí. La comida era de la calidad habitual para la cual es más que aceptable de cadena. El problema fue que en un bullicioso evento sábado había sólo dos cocineros y cuatro camareros. Completamente inadecuada. Aunque estaban todos trabajando muy duro y siguió siendo educado, era de más de 90 minutos de cuando llegamos a nuestras pizzas cuando finalmente servido. Me dijeron que el personal me contacte con cabeza Odffice en su favor.

We dine here quite a bit in the week and always enjoy our meal, not had a bad experience yet. The setting is lovely in an old building, though the downstairs is not used.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this restaurant. It has a spacious feel about it and it nice and welcoming. The staff are nice too. It was a little bit pricey but the food was nice and I was full at the end. It's a great space that I think is underused. I will be returning.

You shouldn't have to walk up to waitresses gossiping to ask for the bill. Food is obviously standard as it is a chain.

Service at this branch seems to have improved. On our last visit the service and food was of the usual, high, standard. I left a scathing review earlier this year, thanks to a manageress who seemed to have the customer service skills of a cardboard box. Last night we celebrated my father's birthday here: The waiting staff looked happy and enthusiastic and it had its old, welcoming atmosphere. Either the manager was having a day off or Pizza Express have taken our views on board. Either way, keep it up.

I have been a regular customer to this particular branch of Pizza Express. The food is as good as always with decent pizzas and starters, however, the whole experience is let down by uncaring and rude staff. The restaurant is housed in a very nice building and the interior is well decorated, but on my last few visits, the waiting staff let the whole place down. We turned up and sat in the almost empty restaurant. We were given menus and ordered drinks. These drinks turned up about 20 minutes later. About another 30 minutes later, the waitress turned up to take our order. She took our order and we assumed everything was fine. Despite the empty restaurant, the food still took around 40-45 minutes to show up. During our meal, we tried to attract the attention of the waiting staff to order more drinks. We were blatantly ignored by the staff who seemed more interested in chatting to their colleagues than they were serving their customers and we were left to eat our food without drinks. Eventually, I did manage to flag a staff member down and order drinks but only after our plates were empty.After we finished, we tried to attract someone to ask for the bill and pay for our meal. Once again, the staff blatantly ignored us and it took almost an hour of us gesticullating and waving at the staff so they'd actually come over and we could ask for the bill, almost to the point we nearly walked out.Sadly, until the management and staff improve in this branch of Pizza Express, I'll be avoiding it for the foreseeable future.

the atmosphere in this unique building is stunning but the food is more then stunning. Visiting an event at Tobacco Docks we had dinner at Pizza Express and the next evening we got a take out pizza because we worked til 10 p.m. Last year we eat the whole weekend at Pizza Express.

Pizza Express in Wapping is housed in a wonderful building, the food is of the usual standard and the chef and most of the waiting staff are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, at the moment, they are let down by the leadership - slow, rude and not customer-focused. On our last visit the manageress berated our, helpful and jovial, waiter in front of the diners. We had been waiting quite some time for our bill and yet she seemed to care more about shouting at the staff than actual serving customers. She was also unnecessarily unpleasant to our children - the mainstay of Pizza Express's custom. What a shame as under previous management, this has been a great restaurant. If you're reading this review, Pizza Express, I also, the policy of packing diners into one area of the restaurant, leaving a vast expanse of empty tables is rather odd.

I actually like this warehouse conversion but the restaurant may feel a little soul-less for some people as it needs a lot of people to bring it to life. The food and service is up to the usual standard for Pizza Express so no complaints (perhaps damning with faint praise).

Do not go to this Pizza Express! Went there with a friend in the evening of Saturday 24 January 2015. The restaurant was two thirds empty, after waiting for quite some time to be served we were told by the staff there was an hour & 15 minute wait for food! We asked to be seated and were placed on a small cramped table next to a loud party of people. When we asked to move to another quieter spot we were told we could not to save the staff walking over to us!! Although another table was occupied less than a metre from where we wanted to sit! We were rudely treated by the staff and when I asked to speak to the manager was told she was too busy!We walked out and will never return. This used to be a great Pizza Express now ruined by a service culture that puts the management & staff first.Don't waste your time or hard earned money at this place. Just awful!

I hate this Pizza Express because of the service. It gets 2 stars because you can't really complain about the food they serve, it is what it is (and that's fine) but the service is awful considering it's hardly a busy outlet.The last time I went, I had to phone the main number to ask the person who answered the phone to bring our bill because we couldn't attract the attention of a waiter or the manger.

I have been eating in pizza express at least once a year since 1977 !!!! It was a real treat then ,(in Wimbledon Village,glad to see it's still there!)as college/uni students we very rarely ate out!It is still a treat now, as you can always be assured of the same brilliant standard& I still, now as then.nearly always order a "Four Seasons" - 4 tastes in one pizza-yum!(Now in Cheam Village)! I was recently introduced to this excellent branch of Pizza Express in Wapping.It is not at first obvious that this is a restaurant due to the nature of the building which is an old warehouse conversion. Inside it is on two levels with the restaurant being on the upper one. The setting is spacious, elegantly lit , the tables are not crammed in and music was at a discreet level. Service was good and attentive without being over-fussy. My pizza was excellent & delicious and very good value for money. All in all this has been a "find" for me and I shall certainly go there again

I have been craving pizza, and being allergic to Gluten since January I haven't had it. I was thrilled to hear that Pizza Express has a Gluten Free menu. My husband and I shared a GF Pizza and a GF salad. Both were excellent! We will be back!

I'm a fan of Pizza Express - the food is good and remarkably consistent and the service usually prompt and friendly. And this branch has a particularly attractive and atmospheric interior. But on too many occasions the service is just slow and haphazard. On this occasion the waiter we had to start with (charming) seemed to disappear halfway through our meal and we were simply abandoned after we turned down dessert. If I hadn't managed to hail a passing waiter about thirty minutes after that, I'd have been forced to head for the exit to get the bill. My other bugbear with this branch is their insistence on seating everyone together, in one section of the restaurant and keeping other areas completely empty. I can see this makes things much easier for the wait staff, but if you're a party of 2 it's really irritating to be seated next to a large table of noisy and unruly children when the restaurant is less than half full. The pizza was great though.

Sat for 10 minutes and didn't get offered a drink. Only 6 covers . Another table who arrived after us got their drinks as we watched. Staff look totally unmotivated.

The food is like any pizza express - you know exactly what you're getting!! What makes this branch worth a visit is the beautiful converted factory surroundings, and the really friendly staff. I went here on my own, and they were very attentive, food arrived quickly and was great quality. I'll definitely be going back in future.

Visited on a busy Tuesday evening due to an email promotion from Pizza Express. The building itself is lovely, with different levels and high ceilings. Lots of room, but all customers crammed into one area. Food typical Pizza Express standard. Which I feel is only value for money if you have a cheap promotion deal or vouchers etc. Unfortunately the standard of service here was poor. Main meals served before starter meal plates removed, so we had to clear them for waiter to place down plates!!! Lack of attention by staff too, leading me to leave table and walk over to kitchen area myself to get what I needed.

Four of us went here on a Saturday night. Service very poor, three waiters serving, all totally disinterested, food luke-warm, bill wrong in two places, meal took 2.5 hours end to end - with us constantly chasing the waiter to take orders for drinks/next courses etc etc. Very disappointing, as the venue is a nice old historic docklands warehouse and has great potential. Pianist on weekends, but doesn't help get past the poor service in here - and eerily quiet for a Saturday night, meaning I guess other locals in the area echo this opinion.

Went for a weekday dinner in two. Very nice venue, spacious with nice ambience and clean. Typical Pizza Express menu, we had a pizza and calzone and for dessert tiramisu and cheesecake. Pizza and calzone were nice but Zizzi is certainly much better (at around same prices). Deserts were better than the mans (in particular tiramisu) but we have had better over time. We had a tastecard so value wise was very good. Nice change of venue for a good pizza, but overall Zizzi is better.

I won't go too deeply into the Pizza Express fayre - the offering at one location is a carbon copy of another, and you either like it or you don't. For us, with children, it works well. What does vary with this chain, is the character of its restaurant locations.In Wapping, as you might expect, the restaurant occupies a Victorian warehouse building, so atmosphere is built in. We opted for this one as we find the more modern Canary Wharf Pizza Express quite cold, not just in its decor, but with its pizza-cooling aircon units, which can spoil a meal if you end up below the blow.We were mildly disappointed, therefore, when having taken a few steps inside the cosy-looking warehouse building, to feel a ghostly chill. Once seated, we realised why: the gappy olden-day windows were acting like Victorian aircon units themselves. The cast iron radiators were piping hot, but no match for the March wind blowing in from the street.From the lower ground floor (in the sparse, unused function area), the painist's jazzed-down pop songs wafted upwards, partly succeeding in warming up the atmosphere. Wandering down there a bit later, I got a closer look at the decor, and the whole place could do with some tlc. The potential, which Pizza Express rightly once recognised in this location, needs re-realising. We might return on a balmy summer eve, but not in the current arctic weather. And as for the pizzas? Well, you know.

The food here is the same as every other Pizza Express. What makes it stand out is the warehouse building it's in, complete with exposed brick walls - gorgeous. One downside is that service tends to be slowish.

We visited this branch after needing some tea and not knowing the area very well. They had a painist playing (it was a Saturday night, not sure if that's every night) which led to a nice atmosphere. However, our waitress barely said a word to us at any point during our ordering or eating three courses, and although the food was nice the customer service skills were pretty lacking!

Brilliant venue, large warehouse conversion. Plays live music on the weekends. Clean & good service. Very happy to have this pizza express as my local :)

We love this pizza Express and always when we would like pizza we're going there but lately I don't know why something is wrong with their service. The place is empty and still they can't serve you quick, the pizzas are just cheap pizza or nothing special. Otherwise the atmosphere is lovely. A bit disappointed.

I came here with friend , we had a menu, with an starter and a pizza for 10 pound, which i thought was good value. Great atmosphere. The pizzas was good , an all in all a good experience.

Same standard as any other Pizza Express. Poor quality food, tiny portions and over-priced. Avoid them all!
