Ottima pizzeria per un pranzo veloce e economico. Consigliamo le pizze romane e il Garlic bread. Buone le insalate.

El servicio es amable y atento. Elegimos romana vegetariana y pizzas veganas. Muy buena masa y aderezos. Servicio rápido y eficiente.

Ni siquiera hice pasar el menú antes de salir. Esperó estar sentado; para ser justos, tenían una gran fiesta de gente allí, pero solo otras dos mesas de dos personas aparte de esto. La camarera (alta, delgada, cabello oscuro) que atendía las dos mesas ocupadas se acercó y dijo que estaba bien para mí sentarme afuera. No me ofreció un menú ni me ofreció cubiertos, sino que caminé directamente a otra mesa y me dejé sola. Pedí un menú; La camarera comentó que debería haberme ayudado a ellos en el mostrador. Luego saqué uno y ni siquiera me lo dio, solo lo dejé en el mostrador y me ignoró nuevamente. Salí y puse una pizza en el mercado de Spitalfields. Supuse que probablemente se habría olvidado de que yo estaba fuera y que esperaría que me sirviera a mí mismo.

Being a regular visitor to Pizza Express restaurants we visit the one in commercial street thinking all Pizza Express restaurants were alike WRONG The service was poor the food acceptable albeit that my pizza was lukewarm as it sat waiting to be delivered for several minutes. Unable to have the dessert we wanted as they had ‘none left’ The waitress’ option of the cutlery needed to eat with was total different to ours. Needless to say we will never ever visit this restaurant again

I ordered 3 pizzas to our office as we were working late tonight. It took an hour to arrive (which was fine) but when our order arrived the pizzas were stone cold, I don't even mean warm, I mean stone cold and not edible. I called up to let them know and was told they would not do anything about it as according to gps the time frames wouldn't have arrived cold - so basically they said I was lying. One of the pizzas were so burnt there is no way it could have been eaten even if it was hot. £38 for 3 pizzas isn't cheap! My 10 year old child could make better pizzas. Avoid this place like the plague because even if they mess up they won't put it right!

We booked a pizza making party for 12 of us at Pizza Express Spitalfields and it was so much fun! The staff were lovely and the Pizza chef was very knowledgable and made the party great fun. We loved the competitive games and our pizzas turned out great because of the lovely ingredients provided and the great dough.

There was nothing about the experience of eating here that stood out as good. The pizzas was below average, the service was not bad but a bit off ( a lot of misunderstandings and repeating of the order). The actual restaurant was charmless and bland There are many pizzerias that are worse than this one in the neighbourhood I'm sure . But don't waste a dinner on "okay" food and experiences. Find another place

I don't normally review restaurants but having read the other reviews I feel I've done the right thing. Our experience was the same.... soggy pizza and disinterested staff. Does head office know??

Não espere muito. Pizza barata. Não tem ketchup. Wifi grátis. Bom para pedir e sair rápido. Nada além. Cumpre o que promete.

I have eaten in many pizza express restaurants however this one I am leaving hungry and disappointed. Food looks nice however canneloni I have ordered were more like a soup where you needed to search for actual dumplings. I have pointed out this to a server that did absolutely nothing about it. Additionally lemon bundt cake was cold. Waiter didn't do a check back at anytime. Very low standards.

I cannot comment on the quality of the food as we didn't actually get that far. We arrived and asked for a table for two. A charmless person said there would be a long wait - up to half an hour - and showed us to a cramped table stuck by a pillar. The waiter arrived to ask us if we would like drinks? The first two red wines on the list were unavailable because a mistake was made with the ordering we were told. I asked if we could have the third wine on the list for the same price as the second as the mistake in ordering was hardly our fault. The waiter went to ask the charmless person if we could and came back with a firm "No". For the sake of £3.00 I think it was, they lost our custom. We walked out. Generally we spend about £50 in a Pizza Express. They really haven't a clue at this branch about customer service - they just don't care. This is the first time I have ever had such an awful experience at a Pizza Express - they are usually completely reliable. There was also an unpleasant smell which seemed to be emanating from the toilets. We went down the road to Nando's and had a very tasty meal with excellent service and recounted our earlier experience to a lovely waitress.

Don't bother it's shocking! Cold food, grumpy disgruntled staff, poor hygiene and bad management. Thee worst pizza express by far we've ever been to and we've visited a far few all over the UK.

This outlet is a DISGRACE to the name Pizza Express. I rarely review restaurants but after our appalling experience in this place I just had to search this one out and see what the reviews were like. Well not surprisingly they are awful. I can confirm the other reviews are accurate. I cannot believe this place has not lost its franchise. There are no positives I'm afraid. The place was understaffed when we visited around 10pm on a Thursday. What staff they had were rude and extremely slow. Waited at the door for more than 5 minutes despite only a handful of people inside. Received what I can only describe as a grunt for a welcome. Orders slow to take and slow to arrive. Zero atmosphere it was like a morgue. Staff just seemed to stand around doing nothing. Awful just awful. Worst of all there was a distinct smell of sewage hanging around the restaurant. Yes you heard me correctly - it smelt vaguely of poo throughout the premises, it wasn't overpowering but it was definitely there and we both commented on it. Now seeing other reviews on here makes me fear for the safety of eating here as all the signs are that this place is poorly run in all regards. Having exited this place we were sad to discover a much more enticing looking Pizza Express just around the corner opposite Liverpool Street station. I'd suggest you avoid this place like the plague and eat there instead. This branch should be shut down by the franchise owner before it does more damage to the brand.

Vamos a Pizza express bastante a menudo, pero fue la primera y la última.

abbiamo mangiato una buona pizza fatta da una pizzaiola italiana che ci ha saputo consigliare veramente bene,il gusto buono e la cottura altrettanto ottima.locale carino e personale disponibile.la disponibilita della pizzaiola e i suoi consigli ci hanno fatto evitare di andare fuori binario magari decidendo gusti lontani dalle nostre abitudini,torneremo di certo a gustare una buona pizza in questo pizzaexpress

Passato qui per caso ho provato la pizza è devo dire che è buona. Personale cordiale e servizio veloce. Okkkk

Nous sommes arrivés à 13 dans le resto. Il n' y avait bien sûr pas de grande tablée mais nous étions partants pour être sur plusieurs tables.Le manager n'a pas voulu nous prendre et nous a invité a aller à être autre pizza express, ce que nous n'avons pas fait.Ce manager est une honte.Si c'est une franchise, il court à la catastrophe. Si c'est un employé, il faut le virer.

went past this restaurant this morning & saw a great big pile of human faeces & used toilet paper in their fire exit at the back of their kitchen dor. it wasn't in the street, it was actually on their kitchen doorway/fire exit which is often open.I alerted manageress about this major hygiene problem. she said it wasn't her responsibility to clear it up! wont ever go back in their again to eat! the food is bad enough, but to think it is actually cooked amid human pooh is a nother level of bad...

Made a large group reservation over the phone a few days earlier. On Sat 9th Apr we arrived at approximately 1745hrs to be told they had no record of our reservation. They were able to accommodate us over three tables which was fine.We placed our orders and 10+mins later our drinks still hadn't arrived. But we had an even longer wait for our pizzas. One table's food arrived after 30mins, another group had to wait 45mins!!! When we queried the delay the waitress was unhelpful and uninterested. When food finally did arrive she started slamming plates on the table and was not helpful in trying to investigate why incorrect orders were sent out.We spoke to the manager who seemed to be unaware of the problems. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived and ordered, likely the waitress forgot to enter our orders and entered incorrectly.We are a large group that visit the area a few times a year and require a quick dinner which this Pizza Express has provided in the past. However after this poor and slow service, bad attitude from the waitress we will be taking our business somewhere else from now on.

Didn't expect taste card waiter abruptly informed us!Waiter didn't seem to care we felt rushed as if we where us topping him to chat to his friend. Portion size reduce but still same prices!No atmosphere would not go back.

I've eaten Pizza Express all over the UK, Hong Kong and never had a bad experience until here. Dumped on a table and ignored while the manageress chatted to her friend and the rest of the staff ran(and I mean ran!) around like headless chickens. It wasn't even that busy but after 20 minutes without even being offered a drink I crossed the road to Smiths. A disgrace to the chain

I live round the corner from this branch of the Pizza express chain. Other branches are good but this is dire. I've been in there several times. The food varies from well cooked to awful. I once had a pizza in there which was swimming in grease. Another time the pizza was covered in mayonnaise!! go figure...They almost always have a billboard outside advertising pizzas for £5 at 5pm. Once before I had to remind them about this offer and they honoured it without question. But today the duty manager completely denied that they had such an offer. When I showed her the advert she disappeared into the back of the restaurant and started talking to people and phoning for 10 minutes leaving me waiting around while she tried to ascertain whether she should honour the (very clear) advert on a billboard in the street.Finally I gave up and paid the £12.95 she charged me for a £5 pizza.Daylight robbery! Will never ever go in there again.

I haven't been to Pizza Express for about a year. And this place reminded me why. Everything was average and nothing was WOW.The service was average. We had to call the waiter over to ask if we could order. We both had the lunch deal. I had the dough balls followed by a leggera pizza. It was good value for money and the pizza looked good. It tasted pretty good too. There is an array of wonderful places to try on Brick Lane and in Spitalfields, I am going to try one of them next time.

The service was very slow, the plates were cold, the manager did not seem to care when approached! I love the pizza express chain but has made me think again!

From sitting down until leaving it was a comedy of errors. Very slow service. Wrong drinks serviced. One wrong meal. Cold plates. Having to ask 4 times for cutlery. No coffee avaliable. Incorrect bill and so on. Not what youd expect from the chain. Very disappointed. All left disappointed and irritated.

An unformal pizzeria with an industrial design. Warm welcome, a little slow service (which is perfectly ok at this kind of place). We ordered a risotto with ham and a pizza with pepperoni. The risotto was tasteless, and the pizza (which was thin enough) had a fat, one dimensional pepperoni, with a lot of fat and salt. The pepperoni itself destroyed the pizza. Friendly service all the way, and the place doesn't seem to claim being something else than a street restaurant. In this view it is good enough, if you don't have too high expectations. It works for me, as I really like street food.

Nicely decorated and clean place. Service was good. Our Pizzas were the standard yiur expect from pizza express, tasty and not greasy. Great location.

Sooooo good We had just finished an amazing Street Art Walking Tour of the Spitalfields area of London and we were pretty hungry ... Not knowing the area too well we just came upon Pizza Express ! What a find ... Food was hot, plentiful & delish just what we needed !Pizza / Pasta choices are amazing and the service is prompt and friendly ... Pizza Express is now on my eatery list when visiting London ☺️

We had our hotel near and were little tired all the curry so we decided for a pizza/pasta. I ordered pasta which was really good but my boyfriend ordered pizza and he said it probably was one of the best. Staff was superfriendly and stayed to chat with us for a short while. Place was clean but little too tight. Free WiFi was available.

We got our food cold and salad very stale , when we complained we were not offered a refund but told we should wait while chef mad a new dish .
