Visited here last weekend with family and was really surprised by how nice the food was. We all enjoyed a lovely dinner and the menu was very good with lots of choice. Prices very reasonable for food and drink, not a huge resaurant but a nice atmosphere. food came quickly and staff very friendly. Will definately be back for more.

Have visited the Barwood Grill in Galston a few times now and now have a weekly booking in place as we enjoy it so much . The Food , Service and Friendy atmosphere are a credit to Murray and his team. Great value , great food and supporting a local business, what’s not to like...! Amazing brekkies served Saturday and Sunday mornings also Hidden in the Standalane pub it’s the place to eat in Galston .

Went for dinner on a Saturday night and had four starters four mains and four rounds of drinks for eighty five pound. Excellent value as they have a special offer on between four thirty and six thirty, two courses for £10.95. The menu is small but varied enough to suit most people. The four of us really enjoyed our meals and would definitely be back.

really delicious ice cream, one thing i don’t like is that you feel a bit rushed while ordering but the staff mean well and they are polite.

Cappuccinos are brilliant. My new favourite place to get coffee, I genuinely go out my way to swing by this place.

Came here for a quick bite after doing some of the Burns Trail in Mauchline. With the social distancing in place, there's no sit in and the cafe only serve food from the front door. The menu is very much traditional British foods, so you'll not go wrong if that's what you're after. Even though the staff were only serving through the front door, they're still friendly and welcoming.I got myself a Jaffa Cake and a Latte. The former did indeed taste like a Jaffa Cake (biscuit), although it was a bit too sweet. The latte was decent. Not sure about all the 5 star ratings, but it was decent food and I give it an extra star because the prices here are very keen.

Had soup and sandwich for lunch, soup was like water, couldn’t eat it.We were looking forward to trying this place but won’t be returning. UPDATE: I have just received a response from the Weston Tavern which contains statements which are untrue. The bruschetta was excellent- we mentioned this to the lady who served us, who was pleasant and helpful, but at no point was I offered a discount on my final bill. My husband and I certainly did not state that we would return. in addition, I would like to emphasise that my statement relating to the soup was true. It was watery and bland and lacked any real flavour.
