Had a great Bondi Brekkie here with a group of friends, but when I came to pay I was told 12.5% would be added as I was dining in; well, who would ever take out a full English? They should price meals intended for dining in appropriately, which allows the diner to reward good service accordingly. The menu should also make reference to this standard charge. Plus, who would ever pay £5.50 for a bottle of beer, and then pay 12.5% on top?

Nice breakfast menu. Australian themed. Bondi breakfast was well cooked, fresh and with a good selection of items. Filling. Coffee is bitter and too strong. They need to change the supplier of the beans as it lets down the cafe. Staff are friendly and helpful.

My family visited in June with some friends. Food and drinks were lovely! Two of the items we ordered were the Bondi Brekkie and the Veggie Brekkie and both were perfect. I absolutely love the corn fritters and the grilled haloumie was delicious along with the others on our plate :) Chicken Parma and chips were also yum! Pretty and chic vibe as well. 🖒🖒

We've been in there several times and it is a good all round place to be. The food is good - a coffee shop with very good coffee and basic food with a nice twist. The pancakes are a speciality, thick and Australian so not to everyone's taste but very popular. The salads and brunch are excellent and very good value. Decor is simple and there is a small garden at the back. The most important thing from our perspective is that dogs are welcome. And people are welcome too - the service has always been excellent, cheerful and attentive; staff come from all over the world but it seems that it doesn't take long before they get the Australian manner and give great, cheerful service. All that and free Wi-Fi.

I've been to Barossa a few times and every time I've been I've never been disappointed! The food is amazing and the taste of Australia is just what I'm looking for! Would strongly recommend Barossa to anyone who would like to try something exotic but natural for an Australian. Even managed to convince my South African friends to try it and they loved it.

Today we were lucky enough to the beat the kitchen close, to fulfil our need for the chicken parmigiana. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, even at the end of the day. It was totally delicious. All the staff were really friendly and were completely upstanding of our need for a little bit of home after a big night out. We could not recommend this cafe more. We will be back soon to try the rest of the menu. Thanks Kate and Ellie

Stumbled across this gem as my buddy and I were strolling through Parsons Green. Great Aussie breakfasts, with the usual brunch classics such as eggs benedict etc. Good sized portions and staff are very accommodating to any requests, lovely cakes and treats also. It's just the perfect coffee shop in the right place: Fulham/Parsons Green area couldn't have any better place for breakfast or brunch. new owner just took over and the food is still absolutely excellent. this is the best value breakfast/brunch in Fulham, big portions, fast, ALWAYS friendly service - really sweet people work there. Its not-pretentious AT ALL and the simplicity and down to earth nature of the place makes you want to come back again and again. Aussie style big breakfast w. corn fritters is excellent as is the red velvet cake & you cant beat the vanilla chai latte, the value here is VERY good, food piping hot, and servers happy and sweet. Cannot ask for more on the weekend. have been going here for over 5 years, and consider it a great way to start your day. Music is also MUCH better w. new owners.

Popped in here after running a local road race, and our first choice of cafe was overflowing (and very pleased it was as it meant we discovered this gem). Timed it really well, arriving just before 10.30am on a Sunday, as the place filled up quickly after that. We were warmly welcomed, seated quickly and the first order of hot drinks arrived shortly thereafter. Overall service was fantastic - we were made to feel welcome although we were still in our running gear, we weren't bugged during our meal, and we loved the genuine engagement/conversation as another staff member took our payment. Australian hospitality at its best! And now to the food: my dining companions enjoyed the toast with smashed avocado, and the eggs royale, while I absolutely demolished the corn fritters. We all enjoyed our generous hot drinks (my sweet tooth was tickled by the chai latte), although the coffee one of us had came out a bit milky given she had ordered the large. Overall this has to be one of the best brunch experiences I have had in London in 4+ years. Will be coming back to try the kangaroo steak sandwich!

My friend, a local, suggested we make a reservation on a Sunday morning. Upon arrival were seated in a very tight spot for 4 people. We asked to move outside to the few tables there and they obliged, but the service was completely horrible. I think they forgot about us! We placed drink orders (coffee, juice, water) and when our food finally arrived, we still didn't have our beverages. The food portions were extremely large but bland. Most of us ordered the bondi breakfast but where left wanting more. Unfortunately, one of the other guest began smoking and the lack of ventilation (outside) caused us to leave. The service is terrible here.

The food at this place is as awful as the decor! I went in for lunch with a friend and was so disappointed. It is way over priced for such bland food! The staff were okay, but I overheard the manager telling a staff member off for not being happy enough, he was so aggressive and patronising, I mean give her a break! Given the posts below this is clearly his character trait with staff AND customers! And then all he did was go back and sit at his laptop in the front window on Facebook! So if you want a side of aggression with your trash-worthy food go ahead! .. Try Hally's or little H just up the road for amazing food and lovely service!

A few years ago we used to live on New Kings Rd and this place was one of our favourite coffee shop to hang out with my bff. I've recently revisited to bring back some good memories but I was shocked! This place has changed enormously! I can't believe it. The coffee was average with sad looking muffins and dried out pastries. Moreover there wasn't a soul in there. Years ago it was packed and sometimes we couldn't even get a seat. I have to agree with a previous contributor Simon - the whole atmosphere has changed. So soul less, and dull! Simply dull! Not a place to hang out anymore. Sad, very sad:-(

A group of us came for breakfast on the weekend. We arrived in 2 groups but I was clear about the amount of us coming and that we were early. We were put on a great table that had enough seats and we ordered coffees. Just after the coffee came out we were told that we would have to shift onto a table that had a smaller number of seats. We informed them that there were more people coming so we shouldn't shift but the waitress went away and got the manager who again asked us to move to the smaller table until our friends came and then we could move back. We shifted onto the smaller table and the people next to us had 3 dogs with them that they were feeding from the table. The dogs barked and jumped on us and it was generally unpleasant. Sure enough 5 minutes later the rest of our group arrived and there were no tables free. I told a group of staff that we would pay for our coffees and simply go somewhere else which seemed to generate a panic and tables were stuck together and crammed up the back of the restaurant to accommodate us. The food was great - but a disorganized and unpleasant experience. Less focus on cramming the maximum number of people into the restaurant and more on providing good customer service. Greedy!

This place is delicious - if only it was bigger to cater for more people. The food is comforting, as are the portion sizes which are extremely filling! Although we only had a hot chocolate and Chai Latte, even the coffee smells amazing. The Bondi and Vegetarian breakfast were divine, it felt like you were at home (in Australia) enjoying a quality, freshly sourced and not so greasy brunch (much better than a greasy English Breakfast). I have visited this place a lot of times in the week for lunch. The place is well located with a great atmosphere inside and little secret garden at the back. The food is very good although little on the expensive side, but that is a small gripe I have compared to the service. What I want to comment on most of all are the staff. They are simply better than any restaurant/cafe I have been to. The girls are extremely welcoming and friendly. They are always polite and chatty, which makes such a difference to the atmosphere and experience as a whole. They should be promoted/paid more! Dropped a bit of a clue in the title here but Barossa Fulham do one mean Kangaroo Sandwich. Where this Kanga comes from is another question as I have yet to see many wild ones roaming around these parts recently. I can say however as somewhat of a Kangaroo sandwich connoisseur that Barossas Steak Sandwiches are the finest this side of Wagga-Wagga (look it up on google maps). Even better is if you do them a review (good or bad) using their Letyano feedback app the guys at Barossa will give you a free coffee as thanks. Theres only one thing at Barossa better than the Kangaroo Steak Sandwich and thats the coffee!!! In the summer time try and get a seat out back in the garden. Highly recommended.

Barossa recreates the aussie cafe brunch experience so well, we keep coming back. My husband is australian and we love the cafes out there, and Barossa gives us our "fix" back in London. The coffee is great, the barista is so nice, and all the staff are welcoming and give great service. The food is fresh and wonderfully cooked and if we have brunch we always leave with a few of their baked goods (eg sublime millionaire's shortbread) to continue the experience. Walking aling the King's Road on a Sunday after having been to the Farmers Market, I decided to stop for breakfast. As I said, a pleasant surprise. Ordered eggs bendict on a slice of prosciutto and a side of chipolatas. The eggs were perfectly cooked, laid on a bed of toasted brown bread, rocket and prociutto and of course topped with hollandaise sauce. What a tasty combination, all worked perfectly. Poached eggs are a great way to determine if the chef/cook knows what he is doing, this one did. With regards to the chipolatas I was expecting the small thin ones with some spice, unfortunately I got regular sized sausages so not really good. As far as service goes I can only say, efficient, which is all I want. I came here to enjoy food on Sunday brunch and that I did. I hate when wait staff are over the top and interrupt every 5 minutes to ask how it was and try to get you to order morre (American style!). As to other people's comments regarding rudeness of the manager and so on, well I did not experience this. I really enjoyed my brunch here, good job.

Unfortunately, I'm having to write a review that is along the same lines of a couple that I've just read on this coffee house.Really shocking food and terribly over-priced - now, you'll probably experience something similar at lots of places in London, but the thing that made Barossa stand out specifically as a place I'd never go to again or recommend to anyone I know, is the shocking poor and rude service. Much as the review below me as already explained, the owner Mr Chatwal is extremely antagonistic and even squared up to me after I complained about the out-dated and quite obviously reheated food.Suffice it to say, I will NEVER be going to this coffee house ever again, and wouldn't recommend the place to my worse enemy. Like some others on here we were using an Amazon local voucher. In truth I think Barossa could be amazing but given the size of the venue (the staff kept knocking things flying in the little coffee/serving area at the front of the place) I really think a bigger premises should be considered by the owners. The food was really lovely and well presented but the staff by and large could do with being rather more welcoming. Was it because we were using vouchers that they appered a little surly? Loving the 'Bondi Breakfast', and my fiance loving the vegetarian option. Eggs Bene also good, though not quite at my higher-than-high strandardThe flat white is superb... and strong!! Love it. I will, however, mention that last week it was uncharacteristically weak, cold, and milky - had to send it back, and to Barossa's credit, it was replaced by the awesome coffee I am used to. Noting a few other reviews, Barossa seems to have developed a bit of inconsistency in the last few months, but I'm very happy to remain a customer.Rather annoyingly, Barossa also only opens from 9am on the weekends, but I'm happy to sleep in.

This happened on three seperate instances; first coffee, then bacon (as part of their full english breakfast - go figure) & then water. Our order of flat whites & a long black was terrible. All sent back. Bad start. Second order equally bad, needed suger which is telling you something. Unenjoyable.Food. A full English, eggs benedict & 1 cake. They have run out of tomatos. On arrival I was greeted by a waitress with a blank expression and a mumble of an offer for a table. Coffee was below its usual superb standard and I had the unfortunate experience of discovering a long brown hair in and around my salad to which I promptly made my feelings felt on paying the bill and walked out. I was totally devastated to say the least as this has been my local cafe for the last year and I always looked forward to the glorious smiles and conversations the great staff offered. Sadly this was not the case on monday. The place had an unwlecoming, overwhelming sense of despair the moment I walked through the door. In future I will avoid this cafe at all costs as my stomach is still turning at the very thought of ordering food again!!

Best breakfast I've had in London by far and quite possibly the worst service. Staff seem annoyed to have to find a table and even take your order. On several occasions I've almost felt they encouraged people leave as wait would be too long...it wasn't..never has been. I've even been sat and ignored for 20 mins then left. Ugh, I'm torn. The veggie brekkie is amazing. A little bit if everything, halloumi, corn fritter, portobello mushrooms. So good. The coffee is amazing too.I'm conflicted, is it worth the attitude and neglect? Today, yes. Depends on the day I suppose.

use to come here every weekend for at least coffee and pastries. staff should recognise me by now but are still snobbycoffee use to be good but is only average now. ordered a stir fry for lunch and was served about 50g of chicken, limp vegetables, old overcooked broccoli - for 10 quid? have had better ready meals from tesco than this.Have had the pulled pork tacos which are terrible - sweet coleslaw served on mexican pork, not sure what kind of tastebuds the chef hasWon't be returning again. I use to recommend it to friends but definitely won't be doing that again

My local cafe, a place that arrived at the right time to offer locals good food and coffee which was not attached to a chain. Early days the service was excellent, but changes have brought problems with server attitudes. The food is still excellent and the baked goods are all homemade downstairs. Just watch for the baby buggy brigade and ladies that lunch/breakfast crowds that frequent too often in large quantities and make a quiet meal difficult.

This location has changed hands and names a few times but for the last few years it has been a local standby. The coffee is amazing, SO much better than some chain coffees. We were there for brunch a few weekends ago and I actually stopped and thought "wow....that is good coffee" (it was a latte). I know friends who feel the same and the shop next door basically went out of business as they could not compete barista-wise. Food is generally of a high quality, bistro-type fare, although I noticed they have Aussied-up the menu in line with the most recent name change. Normally we have been there for brunch/breakfast/lunch so can't comment on evening meals/wine bar aspect. I had a simple avocado and tomato on toast, which was good and fresh. Husband happy with his full English/Aussie fry up - nothing special but of good quality and freshly cooked. Service was OK, for being very busy and full. I loved the art on the walls, very unusual, all for sale.

We stopped by this small cafe as it looked friendly and inviting. We also thought we might be the on the receiving end of some friendly Antipodean service with some excellent coffee thrown in. How wrong we were. The staff were off-hand to the point of being rude and the iced latte was so disgusting the we walked out after a couple of sips. We are still angry about the fact that this experience cost us so much for so little and the only saving grace is that we didn't waste any money on food as well. Avoid at all costs.

Came here with a few friends on a Friday because of this pub’s convenient location in Fulham Broadway station. Unfortunately our experience was ruined by rude staff who made comments such as “tap your card then” and “what do want”. I wasn’t too offended by this behaviour but it obviously wasn’t pleasant.

¡Asqueroso!

The location is great and some tables have a lovely view of the marina. The service is great and the waiters are friendly and helpful. The food is average and nothing amazing, though not bad.

Love it! Good quality food, very tasty and really great service. A really good choice on the menu too and very friendly. The takeout is a great option and it makes for a good healthy lunch, if you work nearby. Top notch. Highly recommend.
