Bardgett's Fish & Chips in Bradford

Called into town and bought a new coat. On my way, walking home, I decided to call to see what time the Fish & Chip shop opened, which was 4 pm. It was now 3-13pm. and a nice day, so I decided to sit across the road where there is seating near the bus stop. I waited until 4-10pm called via my mobile to the mobile number they advertise on Google. Unfortunately, there was no answer. I left very disappointed as I hadn't had food from there in a while and I was really looking forward to it. At least have the decency to answer your phone or put a message on your shutters if you are not opening.

Not gonna bother changing my review again. What a joke of a place, the woman cooking food can't stop talking with hers friends coming into the shop. On the other hand the man working here cant get off his phone or even stay awake, as he was hungover. He served someone who was behind me first, what the hell?? Won't bother coming here again.

Totally satisfied my fish and chip craving. Will definitely be ordering again. Heated up the remaining third next day and they tasted as fresh as they did on delivery 😋. Delicious!

Went here as a last resort as I’ve had them a few times over the past few months and they wasn’t good at all well let’s just say they let me down yet again I placed the order at 16.45 was told by the lad on the phone 20 to 30 mins delivery time I said ok gave him my address and even told him the colour of my door and that it had no number on 45 mins later still no food so I rang them back I know it can get busy but if that’s the case don’t give times out or say could be but if we get busy l. then an hr after me ringing I got a phone call asking me to go outside at the wrong address at the other side of town so the kid answering the phone didn’t listen food got here within 5/10 mins I paid and took the food inside opened my food and the scone was burnt the fish which was ment to be special looked the size of a normal fish was dry and tasteless and the gravy was Luke warm the batter was nice though my dog liked the fish and the scone well only one place for that the bin I spent £15.20 and I will never waste my money on this fish shop ever again no matter how desperate I am

I'm a long distance lorry driver from Wolverhampton and when I'm up that way I always stop here to get my fish and chips . Intact my son is in Keighley today with his van I've sent him a message to get his food from your chippy the food is outstanding.

Found out last evening that Bardgett's do Gluten free fish and chips for my wife. I telephoned ahead to check and order. They were just bagging them up as I arrived to collect. My wife really enjoyed her GF portions. The ' best she has had in a while' We will be back. Thank you

I just paid 6.80 for this fish which is as big as my hand. Never am I or any of the lads gonna stop for dinner here. Disgusting!

Called in yesterday , chip's were spot on . Fishcake and sausage were cold and the man serving was half asleep . Won't be going back .

EDIT 2: Now Fish and Chips are £5.90, another 50p increase in 3 months. Completely priced me and others out of going here. Fish and Chips are supposed to be a cheap meal. Not here it isn't. Just sheer greed. Edit: over the past 12 months the price of a portion of fish and chips has gone up 60p to £5.40. Not good. Nice fish and chips for under a fiver. Social distancing needs to be looked at though, especially in encouraging people to wear face coverings. Not even a sign on the door about it as I write this. The staff member with the beard needs to learn some manners too. The fish and chips ARE good though.

Best fish and chips in Keighley...

Had our first Bargettes Friday evening. Ordered on just eat because I needed to pay by card and didn't know if I could do that by phone. Order was for 5 pm but a lovely lady called and said would you like it sooner, having said yes if poss, our delivery was here within 30 minutes. Me and my grandchildren were having a fish and chip picnic and were so not disappointed. Delivered hot by a very friendly lady and everything was delicious. Sorry Bargettes but you are stuck with us from now on! Best idea we ever had!

we have chippy every 2 weeks and this one is by far the best. always fresh fish by which i mean not sitting about for days not just that its freshly cooked which it is aswell. freshly cooked food that is always hot when it arrives. sausage tastes fantastic and is actually real pork (not a guarentee in keighley). Super friendly girls delivering it, they always say something like enjoy the food or have a great night. only slight issue i have is it takes a long time to be delivered but that could be because i always order at friday tea time. wont stop me ordering
