Ishys Kitchen Indian Takeaway in Bradford

Normally do Harden Spice for our chicken tikka mains, but due to the weather, thought we would try somewhere closer to home. Sadly the mains were not much more than a starter. About half the amount of chicken we are used to (at the same price). Mine was ok quality wise. The missus said hers had chewy bits. Neither were delivered overly hot.

Best place in town so far!!! for curries , I ordered a chicken Jalfrezi and it was just as I wanted , very tasty and so worth the price will be ordering again ..Delivery was also early which was a bonus!😀

ordered hear a few times , last order was going to be delivered tomorrow! apparently after phoning they dont take orders after 11pm order before that came two hours late and was not hot and was tasteless, (Garforth road) will not be getting from hear again unfortunately!

normally is top notch but unfortunately everything was super salty this time. had plenty of good ones and this is the first time we've had a poor one so will be back again and hopefully be back to it's tasty form

Been ordering from here for a few years, always a decent standard. Tarka dall is a highlight, really garlicky and savoury. Onion bhajis are great, good veggie dishes and the vindaloo hits the spot.

Its hard to find a traditional curry that ticks all the boxes, this one came pretty close.

Best Madras curry about by far. Naan was buttery seekh were ok cheers. Just ordered again and if anything was better, deliver was late but we'll wort waiting for cheers.

First meal from here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a chef's special called (I think!) Nawabi Chicken.

First time trying and I was very impressed I never normally leave reviews but I felt like this deserved one , delivered bang on time all food hot and very tasty , I will order again :)

The starters and sides were ok, but the chicken tikka masala wasn't very good, it resembled a sweet sort of tomato soup with a few pieces of chicken, there was loads of sauce and not a right lot of meat, but the sauce wasn't nice. dissapointed with the curry.

Ordered from Ishys yesterday evening. Veggie stuff was okay but our friends who ordered chicken dishes have both been up all night with horrible food poisoning. Restaurant needs to seriously reconsider how they're cooking their food.

With a Mauritian wife and a family of curry lovers I'd like to think we know a good curry. The lamb saag is the best I've had in the UK.

Got the set meal for one asked to exchange for another dish of the same price or at least make the tikka masala hotter as I prefer hot dishes didn't bother with anything I requested but no problem it is a set meal. The meal was pretty much inedible due to how sweet this was I've never had a tikka masala that tasted of mainly coconut. The main itself had less than 10 small pieces of chicken and just a horribly sweet gravy with nothing in it . The mixed kebab was as bad, the "shammi kebabs" are just fried burgers rather than a fluffy light kebab made with eggs. Not for me sorry

Just received our order. Did not receive onion bhajis and the chapatti was cold. The brown bag was slightly wet that that carrying the takeaway

Both curries ordered were mostly liquid, very few pieces of chicken. The butter chicken curry especially was horrible. It was all coconut and super sweet. The sides were great, nicest onion bhajis I've had. Just a shame about the curries. Likely won't order again.

Great curry, starters were good too

Took a punt tonight and tried somewhere new and I was pleasantly surprised. Let’s break this down shall we. Shami Kebabs and Onion Bhajis made me make noises, lovely, really good, gggggrrrrrr. Chapatis standard across all Indian takeaways these days I’m not complaining. Dips were good and full yes full some outfits get tight with them. Curry? Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great needed more flavour for my liking but it got eaten nuff said really. Will order again. Keep it real bruh’s.

Great communication when organising for a big group, very friendly and easy to deal with, delivered on time, very helpful sorting a vegan dish for one of our group. And most importantly, very tasty (and hard to please a big group of people but they all loved it). Highly recommend.

We order donna kebab one tray of meat with nothing on when I got home it had been fried with spices and onions the othere was donna meet chios and that was the same it wasn't nice I ate some of it as I don't mind spice but had a bad tummy from 3 am up all night and my husband tried it and couldn't eat it as he always gets just donnar but from other places . It's not the place for a kebab x we not for us anyway

When your food arrive nearly an hour late, after ringing and being told it will be 10 mins and then having to ring back again then you know things won’t be great - food obviously was cold when it arrived - so if you like your food when you’ve been advised it’s coming and you like it an edible temp then Don’t bother with this place

Very disappointing. Totally unauthentic, was like soup with pieces of chicken. The nan bread was ok and the onion bhajis were good but the main dish was terrible. Needed a spoon to eat it.

Good food thanks but asked for plenty of mint sauce. Spending £38 could have put 1 or 2 more in for us, especially since we helped your driver out of the snow the other day!

Food was excellent but it took over an hour to arrive. Having said that it was a Saturday night.

we ordered food from here and i must say, we were very impressed. food took a while to come but it was a friday night and they were very busy which, is always a good sign and they didn’t disappoint. food was hot and fresh and had amazing flavours. The only bit of criticism i have is that the curries don't come with a choice of chips, rice or chippatti’s and we normally would have 3 each with a curry as we dont have rice or chips. it wouldn’t usually be an issue as i don’t mind paying for them only they were really expensive at £1.10 each. if we would of ordered them seperate it would of been £6.60 just for chippatti’s which is close to the amount for a main dish. normally they range between 40p -60p if you order at most other indian takeaways. thats the only thing i would change, other than that the food was fab and so was the service

Biryani bland at best. Ordered Tarka Daal but just got a green liquid in a foil tray. No lentils in it. Rang the restaurant and they sent a replacement 10 mins later. Had to put the replacement in a pan to cook off properly. Only positives were the bombay potatoes, keema rice and seekh kebab starter.

Just delicious, nothing more to say.

Not the tastiest food I’ve eaten. The cheesy chips looked like they just had tiny strips of cheese singles on top and the korma was quite gritty in texture, the sauce wasn’t right. The chicken tikka was apparently good though. The donner wasn’t eaten as it’s pretty spicy when the person in our group who ordered it was trying not to eat spicy. I feel like that should come with a warning as kebabs are usually fairly mild

Some things were good but some not so good. Poppadoms were rubbish. They were like bought ones then fried. Lamb chops lovely and bhajis good. Pickle tray was tight. Just not enough. Also found it expensive sgsinst others.

Korma was far too sweet. Like there was a whole bag of sugar in it. And the naan was cold.

The best curry in Keighley by far!

We e tried most Curry’s in town and this by far is the best! Perfect every time.

Food was tasty but unfortunately not worth the cost. Both curries ordered had hardly any meat. For £9.45 a curry you would definitely expect more meat, it was mainly sauce. Also the cost of the lamb chops, you only get two, most places give you 3/4. Not to mention we had to pay £30 to qualify for delivery. Would be willing to pay the price if we actually got what we paid for. Unfortunately I don't think that would happen so thanks for letting us try your food but we won't be coming back.

Ordered a peshwari naan but a plain naan was delivered. Also, the tub of pickle to go with the popadoms was almost empty.

Time and time again there's items missing. Today it was salads for the starters. I really like the food but I am not happy with the lack of attention to detail. It will be your undoing

The best curry we’ve had in a really long time!! Plenty of lovely tender chicken, beautiful naan and fab popadoms. Only downfall was very small portion of chips but everything else was perfect! Absolutely amazing thank you 😍

Food quality inedible. Ordered a lamb chop main meal over 8 pounds. It was 4 small chops and didn't taste nice to the point I couldn't eat them. Literally 4 as a main! Ordered my son a chicken korma and it was like soup with a few pieces of chicken. Waited an hour and it was all luke warm.

Don’t go here save your money. Arrogant ignorant. Curry’s are shocking. The service even worse!

Had a really disappointing meal last night. We waited around 90 minutes which to be fair is what was estimated but when our food arrived it was clap cold. Several items were missing, we rang to complain about that but they weren't interested. The Doner Kebab had very little meat, it consisted mostly of naan bread. My chicken Tikka massala was very strange, it was the runniest curry I've ever eaten, was extremely sweet tasting and didn't have much chicken in it. I've honestly never had a curry like it, it was more like a sugary soup. It will be a while until we order from here again, if at all.

Chips were cold, Nan bread tasted like it had been made and warmed up again meat in the kebab was 🤢 chicken meat. First time I ordered it was so nice to have orders from them.

We found this place by chance as we passed by on the canal. Lovely food, would definitely come again if we’re in the area.

I had a tikka masala was very tasty but when paying £7.50 I would have expected more than 7 little chunks of chicken. Not sure if I would order again because of the quantity... The quality is spot on though. NaN and somosa was good also

We ordered curry for the grownups and a donner for my very picky kids. When it arrived it had a red sauce on it which to me tasted very nice but the kids weren't having any of it but the lovely people at Ishys had no problem in coming back and replacing it with an extremely plain donner as per the kids request which they loved! Thankyou so much curry was fab as well!
