I’ve ordered from this takeaway 4 times. The first time ordering the takeaway the food had taken 1.5 hours to arrive, which was fine because the food was really really enjoyable and good value for money. I had ordered a 2nd time in February and 3rd time. Both on Saturdays. Waiting for my order to arrive both times to receive a text to say the takeaway is closed and my money will be refunded in 2-5 working days! After the first time this happened, I ensured to check online to see if they’re open which it stated it was! I then ordered again tonight, after checking online to see if they’re open (the last time I will) to receive a text to say it’s closed and my money will be refunded in 2-5 working days. Because of their poor management of the business as far as stating they’re open when closed and allowing orders to be processed on their app they have lost a customer. Poor customer service, no apologises, no correct opening times. Unsure how they can operate a business effectively in this way. Time will tell, I hope it would improve because the potential is there, the consistency just needs to improve!

ordered 2 hours and 40 minutes ago and food still has not arrived! my husband drove doen there for a refund after 4 phone calls to find out where our food was to find a filthy kitchen! incompetent staff whotold us on the 3rd phone call the food had been sat in a car over an hour on its way to us. The manager found it funny...my 9 year old waiting for her birthday take away did not. I highly recommend everyone avoids this place not only due to the awful customer service but also the filthy premises they are providing food from!

I ordered online and everything went ok and I call to ask for the order and the cashier replies very badly saying that it didn't arrive and other things and puts me down. after an hour I get a call saying come out there's food... I've never seen such a bad and cruel person as she responded to me since that day when I see this place it scares me

Great food, which you can tell is freshly made! So pleased they are now open more days, so I can enjoy it more often

Ordered at 8 didnt come for 3 hours and was told it was out for delivery and that took and hour. Shocking

Food was very well seasoned and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone local or in the area. Pizzas are well made and toppings are fresh and tasty.

Really disappointed in this restaurant. Rang up after an hour about our order not arriving. They said it’s not been cooked and should take 30/40 mins. But they weren’t rude. 50 mins later I’ve called up again and asked where our food is. This time spoke to a different woman who was nice. But said it’s out for del and they can’t tell me how long it will be. I asked if they could check with the driver. She then passed it back to the first woman I spoke who was quite rude and just it’ll be here in a few minutes. It’s been over 10mins now. Wouldn’t bother getting anything from here.

Can’t fault the food but 2 hours to wait for delivery when it stated 35-50 mins was far too long. They ignored the phone so my husband went to get it, our kids were past themselves

Highly recommended! Great quality food! Tried the gyros and pizza, both of which were top quality and well above what you’d expect from the price range!

I don’t want the food if I’m gonna get it mid night and cold. 😡

Ordered at 18:30pm, It’s now 21:15pm and the food is no where to be seen. I’d love to review the food because it looks great from other reviews but I haven’t even received it to do so, yikes.

One of the better takeaways in Hull. Had many times now and always been great. chicken gyros & oregano/feta chips are great, and Pizzas and calzones too.

Absolute joke 2.5 hours late the food and freezing cold Would definitely not go any where near this place and when asked about the delivery all they keep saying is we are working on your order

Absolutely banging food, tasted amazing and was so well prepared. Not just your average take away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I'd give 3.5 stars currently. Ordered on a Friday night. I think they are taking on more orders than they can handle as when I called after an hour, they told me they had only just started working on my order. The delivery drivers and the staff on the phone were very friendly, but I had to chase the order up twice and it took over 2 hours to come. The food was clearly freshly made; the chips had plenty of fresh seasoning and the pizza was generously topped, but it had either been rushed or left out for too long before delivery as the chips and pizza were all quite dry when they arrived which was a shame because it truly looked the part and I think it would have tasted great if not for this. The cookie dough also suffered the same fate; again, it was okay, but it was also dry and overdone rather than soft and melty. I would try this place again in the future, as I think they do appear to make quality food, but definitely collection only and maybe on a quieter night during the week.

Nice food but 2nd time something missing , tziki sauce this time. Chips last time... so will be using other takeaways now...

First order placed tonight, wow. Wish I knew about this place sooner. So fresh and nice, didn't feel like your typical greasy take away. Will defo be ordering again!

Waited 1 hour over the expected delivery time so 2 hours over all, & the order came wrong. They sent all the wrong drinks and when I called the restaurant they explained they had none of the drinks we had requested but didn’t ask us what we would of preferred.

It's probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Such a nice flavour.The Lamb sulvaki is beautiful. Really good quality food. Good price for what you get.

Having a child who really loves pizza, so we are always looking for a great takeaway that includes Pizza and Barbell Kitchen does exactly that. The margarita pizza ordered for my son was extremely good and at a very good price. My wife and I went for the Taste of Greece Platter for 2 and it was excellent. We have always loved Greek food and this was brilliant and really good quality. If you are looking for some great food for delivery, definitely give Barbell Kitchen a try. You wouldn’t be sorry.

Always fresh, so tasteful and very good value for money. My favourite takeaway in Hull!

Arrived a little late, quality was great but garlic breads with cheese was bit over cooked/dry. Plenty of taste and chips was nicely seasoned. Wouls maybe order for collection next time.

First time ordering from here, and will definately be ordering again. Food was lovely, Gyros wraps, Sweet Potato fries and the Halloumi fries well worth getting.

Extremely clean I like the theme of a gymnasium turned into a high quality greek fast food restaurant Calamari was not overcooked, and the chips are dusted with oregano Worth a visit

Just had the Greek platter for 2, ordered online and was ready for collection after half an hour. Food was food was very fresh and tasty, generous portion size and quality food. Best takeaway I've had for a long time, restaurant standard. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you.
