Baran Kebab Gillingham in Medway

Always good fresh food, asked for fresh kebab meat, no issue for staff, cpokef it fresh for me... always chatty and get discount if order online 👍

Beyond unreasonable will never use again. Blue stuff on the chips would rub of on paper like to short change you.

What a disgusting kebab we’ve just had & had to throw them away,kebabs were greasy,under cooked and chewy,and the chips were mainly green & black. Change of name but not change of crap food. Best thing out of there was my daughters lollipop which hopefully was edible. WONT BE USING THIS PLACE AGAIN Normally we give what’s left to our dog who spent most of her puppy life on the streets of Serbia but I think even she would of turned her nose up at this rubbish And to top it off they over charged me.

Disgusting meat over cooked and to chewy to eat, greasy chips inedible £26 of rubbish. Also had to be cash as no card facility which we didn’t until ordered.

We have used Baran Kebab for years but food quality has gone downhill drastically. Not sure if there are new owners or different staff maybe. The food was awful so unfortunately we won’t be buying from them again. It’s a shame because t used to be the best chippy in the area. Mr Fry which is located in Carnation Road in Strood is fantastic...If only they delivered to Gillingham.

Ordered a takeaway at 6:50pm and I kid you not the whole order did not make it here until 8:45pm. Ticket on the food bag was correct but the contents inside were partly wrong and some of the order was missing. After at least 10 calls and a ridiculous amount of waiting time, the food from both deliveries was on verge of going cold. We just wanted to find a kebab house to be our new favourite option and this definitely wouldn't make the cut. Also, the food had an odd smell when on the plate.

First time trying this place and absolutely appalled. 25 weeks pregnant and found a dead fly in my food when I called to complain I was called a liar and told I needed to bring the food back myself or wait until midnight for the driver to finish and bring it back. I was then told that if I wanted to complain to food standards then I could as no one else had complained so they wouldn't believe me. Also informed that he didn't care if I complained and was extremely derogatory towards me.

Baran Kebab is our local chippy who also deliver. Unlike a lot of other kebab shops they serve what I call proper chips ( not fries) which is great. Never had a bad takeaway from them, they're clean, really friendly people and not overpriced.

This is a very clean shop, the staff are friendly and the food a very high standard. I have fish and chips from here on a weekly basis.

Went twice in a week with two different orders and both did not disappoint. Definitely value for money. Chips were good old school chip shop chips and not french fries frozen stuff. Staff are polite and friendly.

Fresh fried fish, kebabs fresh of the skewer and very good portion of chips. Friendly staff and free delivery if you choose.

Have used this place loads of times for Fish and chips / kebabs over the last 6 years and never had a problem. I never order food online/phone, I always collect, that way you know your order is correct and Hot. .

Food was Late, cold, and wrong !! warm drinks and no facility on just eat to add sauce to your kebab. Left a note and they got that wrong too

I ordered cod and chips whilst the rest of the family had kebabs. I wish I had the kebab! My fish was 80% batter and was so chewy I couldn't eat it. The chips were also hard and chewy. The kebabs went down well but I certainly won't be returning for fish and chips

If you are looking for a kebab of quality ,you can't go wrong here the meat is tender and cooked just right I use this take away regularly I must say i am never disappointed . Combination Shish is excellent !

Fast delivery and always quality, can order on just eat and it's always fresh including decent chip shop chips

I have been in the Baran Kebab Shop, Gillingham on a number of occasions and found that the food was not fresh and the chips were chewy and not nice at all. As a result of that I will not be going in there again and do not recommend it at all. I now go somewhere else for a nice takeaway. Hope this helps.

We regularly order from Baran, excellent service as always. Great value for money. It's a hit with the kids too

For a local chippy its okay. I only ever have the fish becauae i had a dodgy time with the donner. Chips are okay, staff are good once you get to know them a bit

This is the worse place ever! The staff are rude and the food is terrible! The chips are like shards of hard potato, and anything battered is normally all dried up!

Ordered food got grunted atwasn't told no food readywaited 25 minutes in total with no acknowledgementfor raw chipshalf cooked battered sausageand a fish that would go back in the sea and breathe again it was so undercookedeven finish quantum couldn't remove the grease of cutlery or plates eitherrank is an understatement!!
