Baraka Restaurant in City of London, Westminster

My wife and I went to Baraka recently for dinner. We recently moved into area and we love Turkish food. The restaurant is large with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is good but not cheap. Good wine list. Service was very nice and attentive. Not sure if we will be back anytime soon but glad we tried.

I came here to celebrate my 30th birthday with my family. The staff and team were so helpful with the setup, very accommodating. There were 10 of us in total and each person had a great time. The food is well served and delicious especially the lamb. The starters were lovely, the hummus & bread was enough to fill you up. Good portion sizes. Great location also and easy to get to. I cannot say any more great things about Baraka. Will definitely be coming again.

We were lucky to be here on a Sunday as we were a very large table and the perfect service was absolutely dedicated to us. We chose the set menu with the choice of main courses, and everyone was really happy with their food. One of us with special dietary needs was helped to find suitable choices. It was well presented and tasty, and cooked right next to us in an open kitchen which made it even more pleasurable. The choice of wines was good and prices reasonable. All in all, a great meal - many thanks to the staff!

We enjoyed some really nice cocktails and some delicious food at Baraka. The service was fantastic and despite the restaurant being really busy, our food and drinks came quickly and everything was perfect. We particularly loved the goats cheese salad and the tasty hummus, but it was all fantastic.

Overpriced food. Friendly staff but drinks service was slow. Spent £300 on a meal for four yet were charged for extra bread. Would not go back.

Absolute rubbish. Ordered the halloumi salad with pomegranate- halloumi was very dry , pre-grilled and cold, pomegranate was all of four pomegranate seeds. Croutons were stale and tomatoes were mushy and old. Clearly all old produce. Do not waste your money here! My friend ordered lamb and for it not to be mince and mince came! They did nothing about it. Poor service, poor food, waste of time and money!

Food was delicious, waiters were lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, good surroundings and a good vibe!

We went to this restaurant because it was open on Sunday (not many in this area are) and because it was nearby. Our expectations were moderate and we were very hungry. The staff were welcoming and available, without being pushy. The ambience was pleasant, even romantic. The food we ordered was exquisite. I had the lamb tagine, and the other three had the rib eye steak (which I took a bite of), iskender and chicken iskender, with sides or sauteed potatoes and feta cheese salad. Each of us were more than pleased with our orders, which were in ample amount, and none of us left any leftovers. Since it was Sunday, we were the only guests at the time, so it seemed like we had the whole place to ourselves. I can only imagine how bustling the restaurant must be on a working day. This is definitely saved in my “London food” map.

Second time to this restaurant. The waitress is always great, the bar & beers excellent. The food is of a high quality, like an up market Turkish. I feel its a little over priced though. Recommended.

I was there with colleagues and food and service was great. If you like Turkish food, definitely the place is worth visit.

I was working in the building where this restaurant is on the ground floor, hence location was ideal. It's a nice Turkish restaurant, the starters were very good, the main was average. It's a bit pricey, but as a whole, it was an enjoyable visit.

I ate at Baraka with a friend on a Monday evening in September. The food was nice enough but the portions were so small that it was almost laughable. It was £7.95 for halloumi and they served 3 small pieces, whilst the tabouleh was no more than a few tablespoons full. Two waitresses cleared our table - I think prices could be reduced if less staff were on duty and then it would be much better value. At those prices, I would not return.

Is a an absolutely gem of a Turkish restaurant. Nice space, good value and thoroughly recommend the muhammarm

We enjoyed an amazing meal and table service at Baraka. For Starters we tried the humus and the enginar, both of which were fresh and delicious. Sharing the Mixed Grill and the Iskender gave us the opportunity to try different meats and flavors and were very filling. I would recommend Baraka for groups and couples.
