Bar Occo Bar + Bistro in South Lanarkshire

went into it once would never go back, staff are a pathetic joke , not a welcoming place , i would rather keep my money than give it to these idiots

I'm sorry. This place was fresh from an episode from Ramsay's kitchen night mares. My sis toom me for a lunch treat and we were going to go to Bond, Steakhouse next door. But thought the bistro would be more down to earth. The food was abyssal. Very editable and poor Prestation and taste :( I wouldn't recommend at all. Most people in the bar bistro were drinking, says it all. And quite rowdy clientele. Won't be back. Awful experience!!

My husband and I visited here on Saturday before meeting some friends for dinner. As it wasn’t our original meeting place, I asked the name of the bar, so I could let our friends know where we were. The Bar-man replied “you’re not from EK then are you”. A simple response of the name of the bar would have been fine. The drinks were fine, but the ambience and noise was horrific. The clientele was…..undesirable…. so much so, they had signs up to remind people that tracksuits weren’t appropriate attire.

My sister who is 60 years old asked to use the toilet late on on Saturday the 28 May. She suffers from bowel issues an is having a hard time of things just now. It was around 12.30 , the doors were still open and she walked in and politely asked if she could use the restroom. A female bartender told her she couldn’t use the toilet. My sister explained to her that she had issues but the bartender still refused to let her use the facilities. She then escorted with some security guard out the door. We couldn’t believe what had just happened we were disgusted. Across the road the female bartender from the Montgomery Arms saw what had happened and told my sister to come over and use the toilet. I would just like to thank her generosity. As far as Bar Roccoco is concerned they should hang their heads in shame. I will be meeting with my MP later as we cannot let this rest.

If your face fits then you’re welcome. Take your money then happy to throw you out ( after you e spent money in the place ) for having the tinest logo on the jumper when funny enough there looking for tables for locals. Stewards need to pay more attention to what goes on in the toilets . What a waste of a good night Will never step foot in the place again 😡

Went back to try again, brilliant service, Brendon the new member of staff was a1, so had to give appropriate tip. Food was up- graded and was the reason we went to try, go see ya self

Normaly good service n excellent food, but today waited over half n hour just for a sandwich, sub standard when it did arrive, would still go again n recommend

Food amazing, staff attentive and helpful, surroundings very nice and great value very highly recommended
