Bar Cerdita in Norwich

Wonderful experience, with wonderful service and wonderful food. Hannah, our server, was very helpful and friendly in explaining things and sorting our food. We had the £15 Tapas trays, with £5 Sangria, which was amazing value. The food is excellent, the particular highlight was the Patatas Bravas, which we ended up ordering more of. Would absolutely recommend, and will be coming back.

The food was amazing, I couldn't pick a favourite dish. It's tapas so they recommend for a light meal to pick 2 dishes per a person, the waitress did mention that the meat and fish dishes are bigger (reflected in the price) so you may not need two per a person. Everything comes out once made and we had a steady flow of very tasty food. Service was good and atmosphere pleasant. I would recommend it to anyone.

What a fabulous restaurant - the staff were so helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about the food they were serving. We ordered a mixture of small plates and a couple of large ones too on the advice of our server and it was absolutely delicious. A lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere and we had a great evening.

This is an excellent venue with fantastic food . The octopus iand the mushroom risotto are to die for. Great service . What more could you want?

We came here as we are fans of Benoli. In most ways, it did not disappoint - welcoming, good atmosphere, nice service, very good quality food, beautifully presented if small portions, good cocktails. Just a couple things to note: - I know this is Spanish (not so veg/vg friendly) but as Benoli is so good in this regard, I expected a bit more choice. The menu does state that most vegetarian can be adapted for vegan but this should be re-iterated by the server when asked about vegan options because at first it seems like just olives and toasted bread soaked in olive oil and salt are only options - please add the option of portion of good quality plain bread as lots of the dishes have lovely olive oil/ sauce to mop up. - on the Specials, include a smaller tapas dish. A very pleasant luncheon experience. Would definitely recommend popping in even just for a cocktail and tapas!

I cannot stress enough how amazing the food is; I am a Benoli fan but Bar Cerdita surpassed expectations. We booked to be in the bar, however were offered a table in the restaurant and the atmosphere was great. It’s size creates an intimacy that enhances the meal. The decor too was lovely. We had Cava and sangria to drink both of which were great. All the staff were lovely and welcoming, Hannah looked after us and was attentive but not clingy - just what we wanted. The food was incredible. We over ordered just enjoyed it all. The pork was definitely the standout along side the croquettes. I highly, highly recommend.

Food nice, but overpriced for really small portion. I think would be nice have same fresh bread to go with tapas. It is not raccomanded go with babies because there is not changing room and toilets are very small and upstairs

Very nice place, the food was fantastic lots to choose from the menu or specials board, staff were attentive especially our waiter Jack who took great care of us.

Myself and a friend came to celebrate our birthdays and Bar Cerdita had been on our list to try. It did not disappoint. The ambiance is very chill, lighting low and intimate. As the place serves tapas, we were recommended to have about 6 dishes between us. We opted for the octopus, plaice with clams, ham croquettes, patatas bravas, anchovies and pork empanadas. The empanadas were my favourite but everything tasted delightful and was enough for us. My friend had wine that was recommended to complement the dishes we had. Service was great and our server (I think was Elliot) was very knowledgeable. Thankyou for a wonderful evening

We've been wanting to try this place since it opened. And we've been to their sister restaurant, Benoli and loved it. The decor at Bar Cerdita is wonderful and it has a real buzz about it. We received a warm welcome and was shown upstairs to the dining area. The wine list is very good and we chose a wonderful bottle of Rioja priced at £36. We found the food options very good and fairly well priced. However after placing our orders we found we had to wait 35 minutes for any tapas to arrive! Not quite what we're used to, especially as in Spain it is served very quickly! The food was of really good quality and cooked well, However the chef had put so much salt on the food, some dishes were a real struggle! I've since seen other reviews on here from diners commenting/ complaining about the salt levels. The other gripe we have is the fact they only had 1 waiter (who did a sterling job!). Whilst it's a small dining room, it was extremely busy and it was a real struggle to get his attention because he wa working solo. So management I'd you're reading this- PLEASE employ an additional wait staff! Also if you do visit, and use the toilets on the top floor, take extreme care as the stairs are small and curved which pose a real threat of being dangerous! Would we return? MAYBE in another 6 months to see if things have improved because we left there feeling somewhat deflated

The food was first class as was the service from the waiting staff, the bar staff were less helpful but it didn't ruin the wonderful meal we had

Absolutely brilliant 🤩 Tapas dishes were superb and our waiter was such a nice guy, really knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend & we will be back for sure.

I knew I’d struggle at something called bar meat as a pescatarian but was hopeful. Dishes were not exactly tasty. I had a wet piece of flavourless plaice with clams, most of which were empty and my partner had a piece of blood sausage and mash which really had no flavour either. Vegetable dishes were severely overpriced - £7 for some blackened spring onions but the worst thing was the salt. Everything was soooo salty and it overpowered the dishes. No stand out dish for me - no dish that made either of us say ‘wow’ or wish to go again. I was also incredibly grossed out by so many people ordering a suckling pig head as seeing a decapitated baby piglet get dropped off at tables every so often wasn’t nice. Felt generally pretentious and overtly in your face rather than quietly authentic. We won’t be back

Visited here just after opening and everything was first class. Flavors on all the dishes were immense as was the wine. Can't wait to visit again.

Just popped in for a coffee and it was the best tasting coffee I’ve had in Norwich. The tapas looks great too We’ll worth a visit.
