terrible. I don't recommend it to anyone. Rude waiters and bad food. There are much better places in London where people provide decent service

For now the best English breakfast I have eaten

The place is small, the armchairs are very old and they charge £1 more for service (2 people £2) hence the 2 stars. The breakfast was good, it was a little small for paying £14 each, but hey, in Spain for that price 5 have breakfast hahahaha.

Best breakfast sandwiches you’ll find in the country that I know. I haven’t tried other menu items yet, but I recommend highly. Priced well under the standard of food you receive in the area. If I could give it more stars I would but I only get to give 5

Been going to this cafe for 30 plus years. Sadly it's gone the way of most old things, rapidly downhill very quickly and is now expensive when considering the heart attack inducing grease based food they sell. Don't BOTHER

Very good and abundant English breakfast, we had gone before and we did not hesitate to repeat. In addition, the staff was very nice, gave us recommendations about the city that helped us a lot. We will return!

We had the baked jacket potato (cheese, butter, and salt) and cinnamon roll. Exquisite! The service was friendly. The place was cozy and perfect after a day of walking in the cold.

I got the protein breakfast w/ a side of black pudding and a tea and the portion was huge! I just happen to find this place as I was walking around looking for a non touristy breakfast place. I especially loved that nothing was salty :)

Great food, quick service and good prices for central London. I would definitely recommend to others, it gets very busy in the seating area so come earlier if you want to get a seat! I recommend the Paninis. I paid £12 for a panini and chips

this place serve great lunch. We order chicken mushroom and chips( we change to jacket potato) and order 1 jacket potato with grated cheese. Potato taste fantastic. Its large, hot and steamy potato. With little butter on side. If you are looking lunch or dinner with great taste and reasonable price in middle of london. Its your place. Even as a tourist, this is second time, we would give a visit next time. Tbh guys, first time the man server not too friendly, but second time ( today) he make it up for us. Turn out, He is so nice to us. Bc that time is peak hour lunch time. So kind understand. Thank you for serving our foods quick too. If you bring kids, better go downstairs eating, its more peaceful and you can enjoy food better. This place quite crowd for takeaway too.

Good old fashioned diner in the centre of London. Good honest simple food, quick service, long opening hours, reasonable prices and no fancy rip off service charges. Defo returning on my next trip to London.

Amazing local small cafe we found in busy downtown. Amazing traditional English breakfast, great sausages, hash browns and toast! The bacons were a bit salty to my taste. The portion is generous, even comes with a cup of English tea. We recommend to whom is looking for traditional local English breakfast!

Been in the early 90's,its exactly the same now and I love it. There are no places left with any character and community feel,this place is an exception. You might have to share a table when its busy. Love the fact that this place attracts all ages all walks of life. The best tea I have had in years,proper tea leaves! All the staff were polite and friendly,nothing was too much trouble. A gut busting portion for £10-12, where can you eat in central London for this price? Me and my son have worked our way through the menu,Risotto lovely,proper pizza,liver,onion mash and gravy my favourite,and all pastas and sauces. A hundred different fresh panini's to choose or make up your own.

Very big breakfast served quite quickly, good service. Dishes made to order, so everything is fresh. 3 persons breakfast plus drinks just below fourty pounds.

Friendly and quick service, huge portions, very high quality and tasty. Probably the best "hidden" gem in central London, it's super affordable for being in this location. Whenever I am in the centre or have friends visiting, I take them to this place. 10/10

Food is fine it’s a caff But the weird guy with the glasses who works there seems to enjoy intimidating mothers and children who visit You run a caff not a five star restaurant If people visit with children be friendly - don’t stare at mothers menacingly, tut all the time, turn music up to make a point or slam things down on the table to make a statement. You’re weird mate, sort it out.

I was skeptical at first because of the reviews, but the food at Bar Bruno convinced me - really great! Breakfast is highly recommended and fills you up for the whole day. The service is okay, but the place is a bit cramped.

Typical English breakfast place with wide range of dishes, from jacket potatoes to omelette without forgetting the star full English. They could accommodate my gluten free intolerance without any problem (toasted gluten free bread w butter) and served us a delicious full English rapidly after we ordered. Little gem right in the center of London. I highly recommend.

My friend Hassan and I had breakfast here, its the best English breakfast I’ve had in years. Food was delicious, service was excellent, last of the real cafes in the West End . Forget queuing at some other hyped up restaurants, you want real food then i suggest you try this place

Got myself steak & cheese plus hash brown for breakfast and the portion was more than generous. Tasty breakfast! This place has a no frills easy-going vibes that made a solo traveller like me instantly at ease. Service was quick and attentive, no pressure to rush despite tables getting filled up. Thumbs up!

This was the best breakfast we had while visiting London! We ordered the Eggs Benedict Royale and traditional English breakfast and both were incredible. My mouth waters just thinking about it. Fabulous spaghetti vongole and the best cheapest coffee in the West End. Can’t believe I didn’t know about this gem until recently. I’m now a regular whether just for coffee, a bacon sarnie or early dinner. Great friendly service too.

Very pleasant service. A good portion of food and a fair price from the area! Had the Soho breakfast with a broccoli/ spinach scrambled eggs which I l'd never think to make but it was good n healthy.

Food was disgusting. The bacon was like just lukewarm fat. Asked for no butter/spread but got it anyway. Overpriced poor fayre.

I've visited Bar Bruno a few times when visiting London and it's always been a good experience. I would recommend if you want a big full English breakfast for decent price.

Many options and genuine atmosphere

A bar that serves very, very good English breakfasts. Here it's not really formal, but it's the assurance of fair, good and generous cuisine. The English breakfasts are very affordable (£12) and are super generous; a sausage, two hashbrowns, beans, a fried egg, bacon, a kind of pea pancake and plenty of toast. The formula comes with milk tea but since I don't like that I asked for water instead. Everything is very good. The sausage is nicely cracked, the egg perfectly cooked and still runny, the beans not too sweet. I don't usually like hashbrowns but these were delicious; the potato is well grated inside and the frying is not too heavy. I just didn't like the pea pancake which was forgettable in my opinion. The service is super fast and it's a rich first meal of the day, but it keeps you going until 3-4 p.m. The atmosphere is nice, a bit like an English pub, with a mix of all social classes. We are well seated despite the wear of the benches. In summary? It's a very good address that ticks all the boxes for a good English breakfast, without fuss. I warmly recommend you.

If you're in the mood for a traditional English breakfast, this is the right place to go. I recommend Ben Brakefats from the menu, which will saturate you min. for the whole day, but there is also a lot of other great food on offer. It's a shame that it's not possible to try them all in one visit :) They also offer a large selection of sandwiches and other traditional dishes such as roast beef, steak... They offer breakfast all day.

This is a super good little place at the corner here. Visiting from out of the USA, and this has amazing flavor! My new little favorite in Soho. I got the Gnocchi Pesto and I highly recommend!

Classic Sandwich/Breakfast/Diner place. Huge portions, very reasonable prices, friendly staff. No surprise many of the guests were local "hard hat" workers charging up for a long day's work. English Breakfast and breakfast club was delicious but the Liver with onions and mash were the star.

What a lovely little place we found while trying to find some other than the run of the mill chains the food was great weall had something different and really enjoyed it. the staff are lovely we will be revising very soon.

Honest food cooked perfectly and served by staff who genuinely care about your time. One waiter even noticed that I was about to use my napkin and brought a fresh one as I used it. Sausage, Egg and Bacon bap is the perfect pre-work breakfast 🍳

A soho legend that delivers daily

This was one of the few places open early for a decent breakfast in the area and it was great. I'm gluten free so getting breakfast on the go is really hard. The breakfast was solid with good portions and they had good gluten free options. The server was also very attentive which was lacking in some of the places I'd eaten in London.

I went there a few times, the caffe is low quality and the staff rushing me to pay as they didn’t pay attention to my order I have to repeat what I wanted a few times, the guy was quiet rude and not hygienic talking on my food . Not coming back again !

Stopped in for breakfast based on other reviews. Great spot for a quick meal and excellent service. Definitely recommend!

The quantity is large and the taste is good. It's not that cheap. If you eat it for brunch, you don't have to worry about it until dinner. You can't see it in the picture, but it also comes with two pieces of bread toast. The small store's lively atmosphere fits well with the Soho area. You can order iced coffee, but it is not recommended.

We came for breakfast on a Monday and the place was pretty empty. We got the BB full breakfast (it comes with toast but it isn't pictured here). We also got the smoked salmon Benedict. The full breakfast is a great deal. It comes with so much. The hashbrowns were delicious. Loved that it also came with tea. Very hearty no frills meal. Tip: don't go to the bathroom here. Don't ask me why.

Bar Bruno an Amazing step back in time for a Famous Italian Cafe in Central London , Wardour Street W1. It open from 4am , always full of regular customers from the Window Cleaner's , Builders , Office Workers to Night Club Staff finishing work and the odd Actor , Property Tycoon . With a Great Atmosphere , Friendly , Great Food , Value for money in Soho a must visit .

One of the better places for liver bacon. I would have liked the liver to be a little undercooked but I guess there is the risk of you know!! Bar Bruno, possibly the only greasy spoons in SOHO offering a wide range of sandwiches is evidently a popular with tourists and people in the area. Finally gave it a visit because of the liver and bacon which is getting rare these days. It is hard to find good ones because lack of demand hence it will probably come from the freezer. The liver here was good but I felt that it was a bit over cooked compared to the one I had previously which was served pink. Anyhow, I still recommend this place.

Very local place with great food and fantastic service. If you get there and place is full - they have basement area with additional tables. I had jacket potato with tuna and was super good. Portions generous with affordable prices.

Spectacular breakfast and very friendly employees

Nice surprise at dawn… we were looking for a place to eat breakfast around 5am, we are delighted to have found this place. Warm, very smiling and pleasant waitress, fast service, hearty dish with good hot tea. We really felt like we were in England.

Stayed in SoHo and next to this great breakfast place! I ate here for six mornings and no reason to go anywhere else. Food was excellent, quick and the people are warm and friendly like I have found all over London. The first morning I had to try the £14 big breakfast and couldn’t finish it! The grill breakfast sandwiches are really good and I would highly recommend checking out Bar Bruno.

Feels like a family owned business that is very good at looking after its customers. Staff are very friendly and happy to help, food is great, and they do take-away. There is only a small seating area and it gets busy at peak times, but very worthwhile seeking this place out. Very much recommend the breakfast and lunch sandwiches!
