I often visit with my teenager as it is preferable to subway in both quality and price. The food is good and the salad always fresh. On Friday as we entered one of the ladies serving (not seen her before) barked at me as to what I wanted. I had one foot in the building. It would be nice to be able to reach the counter and look at the menu first. I also find the service very rushed as opposed to efficient. The staff are presentable and the premises clean. One very thin napkin is given with the order and non left out for the customer to help themselves to (this was pre-covid too). I have to ask for cutlery and sweetness too, which the staff member puts into the cup rather than yourself.

Served by a lovely staff member called Genevieve if I remember correctly. She was really helpful with recommendations of what to get. I had the Caribbean chicken and it was lovely. Would definitely come back again - would highly recommend.

Had lunch here today and was so disappointed with the food. The baguettes which are really just long rolls were very dry and stale. The fillings were ok but the bread was not fresh. It completely spoilt the sandwiches. We have eaten here several times this year and its been ok, the staff are very efficient and pleasant and the prices are reasonable but serving bread that is clearly not fresh will sadly mean we wont return.

Have eaten here several times this year and its been fairly ok, today we both had mega Baguettes. The bread which is just a sub and not a baguette was dry and stale. Very hard to eat. It completely ruined the sandwiches. Such a shame as the ladies working there are very efficient and pleasant. The prices are also very reasonable. However serving bread that is not fresh in a business that is mainly bread based is unforgivable. We wont return.

Great place: loads of choice, very tasty, interesting & fresh baguettes to suit all tastes. Ditto jacket potatoes. Friendly staff and plenty of seating in an airy, spotless and modern settling, yet with an independent feel. What's not to like?

Staff food and drink the best in Altrincham. I go there most days and treated like royalty.

Not been for a long time. Had a chili beef burrito. It was nice. Staff brought it over for me. Good value I felt as it was quite large and I also got a snack with it. One of my favourite places for lunch when I visit Altrincham.

I dropped in for a coffee today and also had a piece of delicious homemade carrot cake. I complimented the lady that served me and learned that her brother makes their cakes. It was lovely and the coffee was good too.

Come here regularly, with my friend, for lunch. We love the food and the staff are friendly. It’s a nice place to go!

The best and cheapest food place to eat in altrincham I go at least twice a week for my dinners here as I love the paninis which are served with fresh side salad. The coffee is the best coffee I’ve tried and the staff are so nice and welcoming

A really lovely environment to eat in. It’s always clean and the food is always fresh, especially the salad. I eat here every week and I’ve always had a positive experience. The management are great and ive always received great service from Kay and Lyndsay ! A lovely place to eat, I would highly recommend the beef and gravy panini!

Kay and Lyndsay are so professional, and friendly, they even remember our order as we come 3X a week! Great atmosphere, great food. Highly recommend.

Great food and very friendly staff

By far the best place for lunch in Altrincham. I’ve been coming here for years and it never disappoints. There is an extensive choice of sandwich types and fillings, all of which are worth trying! The staff are brilliant and always serve with a smile!

So disappointed with how downhill bap has gone - used to love coming in when I was younger, years ago the guy who ran it was great and the food quality seemed to be better! I took my boyfriend with me today, I ordered a medium baguette - sadly it was just a sub rather than the actual baguettes they used to do! Half of the sub was hard (but not completely stale) and seemed to be dry and crumbly. My boyfriend ordered a panini which was just a grilled baguette & was incredibly messy to eat - had to ask for some cutlery in the end! He also asked for a side salad, which unfortunately the staff completely forgot to do. On top of our food we just asked for 2 tap waters with ice due to the heat - these were served in dirty mugs. For both of our lunches I paid £12 which definitely isn’t worth it! Aside from this, the staff did seem cheery, and I’d say that bap is probably best suited for a hot drink & cake/cookie, but I definitely wouldn’t advise people to get the food - nor would I recommend bap to anyone, especially when Altrincham is now booming with other cafes that seem to serve far better quality.

Stopped here for breakfast around 10.30 both had the full English. Was disgusting! Beans cold egg so well done and hard couldn't cut it. Bacon burnt was no condiments on table so asked for some brown sauce, as I couldn't be trusted with the bottle she squirted some onto a saucer and gave us that !!! Just left it and walked out

Called in BAP on my first trip to Altrincham. Had a sausage and egg bap which proved to be a bad choice as I ended up spending the weekend with food poisoning. The owner has admitted here that some items are not cooked and are merely reheated limit costs and time. What’s will happen when a number of customers get ill all at once? Hope she rethinks her cooking methods.

Wouldn’t recommend for breakfast items. Went in for breakfast barms and the fillings were reheated on the barm, and not cooked fresh or reheated separately. The barm was basically steamed and claggy in texture as a result of the reheating. Only saving grace was that it was quick, but would sooner have food that was better tasting and enjoyable.

A bit cheaper than other coffee shops but still retains great value and service.

Why have I passed this darling little brunch spot every time I’ve been in Altrincham?! I am grieving the amount of brilliant sandwiches I have missed out on in my days. If you get a chance, PLEASE EAT HERE. A menu so descriptive and extensive that I had to take a step back to take in all the options. Once I chose my bap, which was assisted by the lovely workers helping me out with the menu options, i was swiftly shown the process of making the sandwich and promptly sent on my way with my delicious plate of food. When I say this sandwich is the best sandwich I have ever had in my entire life, you have got to believe me. The meats were flavourful but not artificial tasting (like SOME chain sandwich makers), the vegetables were so fresh I wouldn’t be surprised if they had just been plucked from the earth, washed off and then put in my bap. They added the perfect amount of sauce so it didn’t feel as if I was drinking my sandwich. Then to top it off I got a nice bag of crisps and a can of pop and sat down. The holy angels sang in a unison as I took my first bite. I felt like that one scene from Disney’s Ratatouille where the food critic takes a bite of Remi’s food. Long story short, EAT HERE AT ANY CHANCE YOU CAN!!! Edit: I got everything for £7.50, with a meal deal option and extra filling in my sandwich which I payed more for. Makes the food taste even better when you’re not paying an arm and a leg for it!

Usually visit Bap when I am in Altrincham. Only have tea and teacake.However their menu is extensive and varied. Must say this is such a very friendly place to visit. I usually visit on a Tuesday the two young ladies who are serving are very friendly very courteous. They keep the place very clean and tidy. It is a pleasure to call in for a cuppa would definitely recommend a visit.

I had a foot long sub. It was better than subway and a little cheaper. I would recommend it if you are looking for a tasty sandwich if you're on your own and on your lunch break. Also good if there's a couple of you... 😆👍

Popped in and had a Bacon and egg Cob, (or Barm as the staff called it), with a coffee. Very nice food and very friendly service, and great price too. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Lovely little cafe. Friendly, efficient staff and good food. Don't often visit Altrincham, but, if we ever go again I wouldn't hesitate to call in at this cafe again

Make your own sandwich, subway style, lots to choose from, all fresh and appetising. We enjoyed our food and drinks outside. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was it cloed at 6pm - would loved to have tried the various homemade flavoured spirits on offer in the evening 😃

Called in for a quick sandwhich and a drink. Food was absolutely fine and the young girl said I could have a snack as a meal deal, which was good custermer service so I had a deliciouse chocolate cookie
