I was very much looking forward to trying out the vegan rainbow dumplings and dishes, as few Chinese restaurants offer such a range. However, my AWFUL experience has compelled me to leave this review in hope that it offers feedback for change or it saves prospective hungry dim-summers from wasting their time and money. I had met my friend on a rainy Monday night for dinner; when seated, we were told we had only 1.5 hours which was fine. The big problem centred around ordering the vegetarian/vegan Dan Dan noodles from the separate Green Menu. The noodles were served with a topping, which after tasting, it made me query it with the waitress. As a vegan, UTTER HORROR to be simply told it was pork mince. The waitress seemed unaware of their mistake, despite my shock and disgust and any rectification had to asked for. We had to ask for the noodles to be replaced with our ordered one, ask for a clean bowl and for the dumplings that were in my bowl to be replaced too – all this seemed to inconvenience the waitress. And simply no apology from the waitress or manager. It’s lucky that this is not a case of an allergy – the staff were inconsiderate and careless towards their customers. To top it off, our bill was given to us without asking, made to pay promptly and clear message to leave despite empty tables around us and no-one waiting. Dinner served with a big cold dose of ignorance and rudeness – what a shame as offering good service costs nothing!

This is apparently a chain of several Asian restaurants in London. The one we ate at in Camden Market is pretty much a fast-food restaurant, although the description of the others in London look more sophisticated. We had a shrimp dish and a fish dish. One dish was far too spicy and the other was edible but nothing special. Being that we were eating in Camden Market, this meal was better than we anticipated.

We ended up calling into here before we saw a show at the Menier chocolate factory. We had had a few drinks and desperately needed some food. I am so glad we took a risk on just walking in. The welcome wasn't the friendliest it could have been but at the end of the day, it was a busy Saturday night and we hadn't booked but they managed to squeeze us in and advised when they needed the table back by. Which worked fine with us due to the theatre. Everything we had was tasty and fresh, the ribs were absolutely incredible and could have ate another two bowls just of them!!!! Fantastic and we cannot wait to go back!

Awful over-priced food. This is probably the worst Chinese meal I've had in London in decades especially when you take into account the price - £120 for two with just the two beers in this. The lamb and beef skewers were bland, the fish-flavour style aubergines deep fried in cubes and already caving into themselves, the dumplings were different temperatures from warm to tepid - poor microwave skills - and the gong bao prawns had a hard crust and a gloopy sauce. The only reason this review has two stars is because some of the staff were friendly, and the place was clean. But foodwise it's a no-no. There are far superior restaurants in London, some of them in more expensive areas of London, where you can eat for half the price. Avoid avoid avoid.

There are two amazing BaoziInn restaurants .. one in London Bridge and one in Soho and both are so worth a visit! The London Bridge one is nearest to me and it’s where I first had the Dan Dan noodles. Oh my days! They are so good and the dim sum is the best I’ve had in London. The staff are so helpful and we only know Joe by name but every time we go we are made to feel so welcome.

Tasty food (when it finally arrived) albeit small portions for the price. Have been to boazilnn several times and always had a good experience but our meal at the London Bridge branch last night was nothing but shocking. We had a table booked for 3. We were seated but the 3rd person in our party couldn't make it at the last minute and so the restaurant asked if they could move us to a smaller table as they were fully booked (understandable!). However, they then proceeded to move us 2 more times over the course of the first 30min of our meal as 'other people' needed the tables. The 3rd table we were sat at was in the corner next to a pile of cleaning products. Finally settled on a 4th table upstairs and our order taken. We ordered 5 items - the first arrived within minutes however we then had to wait for over 20min for the 2nd plate of food to arrive. I appreciate the items come out when ready but waiting 10-20min in between each plate is not acceptable. We chased to be told "the chef is still making it as we are busy". The same happened with the 3rd and 4th plate meaning nothing came together and our meal eaten in mere bites. The dumplings - when they finally did arrive also arrived warm instead of piping hot. One of our dishes never arrived at all - we had to ask 3 different people for it, to be told at the end that they had actually sold out. Instead we ordered a mint tea... whilst drinking that tea we were then asked if we would move AGAIN - this time to the bar - as another couple were unhappy with their table downstairs and could then have ours? Our answer was no. We were told they would give us a discount and free mint tea if we obliged but as a pregnant woman I was not prepared to sit at the bar. We explained the issues we had had so far and so were even more disappointed when the bill arrived without any discount on it and including full service. To add salt to the wound - before it was even 10pm the waitress began clearing our table and sprayed it with disinfectant three times (whilst we were still finishing our tea). The message that they wanted us to leave could not have been clearer. When we did get up to leave I went to use the bathrooms to find them roped off and closed for cleaning. When I asked if there were alternative bathrooms I was told they had been cleaned and closed for the night and couldn't be used. With paying customers still in the restaurant that should not have been the case! Only after the manager was consulted did they agree to open them up for me to use them. Overall an incredibly shocking experience with no apology. Will not be returning

We actually ate at the location in the West End Theater District-- 24 Ramily Street. It was easy to order, since you circle your selections on the order sheet and the server brings them to your table. We ordered a selection of dumplings, and enjoyed them so much, we ordered MORE! Service was friendly. It is very intimate location with only a few tables. VERY convenient to the Prince Edward Theater where we saw "Ain 't Too Proud" musical. It was a perfect evening.

Very disappointing. It was very clear the place was understaffed (particularly as we complained at the end and were told the chef wasn’t there)… Basically, we ordered food and waited half an hour…finally ONE of the meals arrived. Then after another 10 minutes the other meal arrived! By this time the other one had been eaten. My meal was dry, had no chicken, and just tasted average. Very disappointing. We should have been told at the beginning that they were understaffed so we could have gone elsewhere…instead of them trying to cram everyone in and serve us all slowly with average food.

Cultural differences make people in reviews say the staff are rude but it’s just how they normally behave and it’s to be understood. I had a lovely chat with 3 ladies there about lunar new year even though I have no idea what is it, they have given me recommendations where to go . Lovely people! The dumplings and buns were lovely , I had so much food in Victoria MH that I asked for the buns to go and they were lovely after a few hours, the spicy chilli oil keeping them moist and not sticky . Definitely recommend
