Bao Bun in Belfast

Always looking for a good pho but usually disappointed. Not here. Best pho I’ve had. Flavoursome and fresh. Staff pleasant and welcoming as well.

Amazing food and staff . Would recommend the lunch deals as it’s well worth the money and great portion size . Great for students too.

The food was delicious but the experience to get the food was not great. We attended and were essentially ignored by the two front of house staff, who seemed to be having a meltdown preparing a couple of collection orders for deliveroo. It appeared that they communicate properly with each other and were both preparing the same order. Perhaps one should do collection orders and one serve walk ins stood right in front of you. At the very least have the courtesy to acknowledge the person stood in front of your rather than ignore them. Basic service skills need to be trained to these staff like hello, welcome will just be a few minutes or hi how can I help you. We stood for at least 10 minutes in a very small restaurant with nothing. Food when we did get it however was delicious, and we nearly walked out whilst waiting for some service. Glad we didn’t, as food was worth it.

Absolutely delicious. Had bao buns with char Sui port and pho. So tasty, perfectly spiced and unbelievably good value for money. The bowl of Pho was huge and tasted so fresh. Would highly recommend

i ordered food from deliveroo , my usual order, except way too spicy. Menu items change in flavour depending who makes them. Food was hot but the entire thing was covered in too much hot sauce

I made an online order Online and received an email to confirm it was accepted. Then got an email to cancel the order. Called the store and was informed that the order was cancelled and that I must do the order again online. I had no time for this and was just told the order was cancelled and no money would be taken. I checked my bank a few days later and the money was taken. I have emailed the store 6n times now. I had a reply once asking for order details and replied immediately only to be ignored again. I am still waiting on someone coming back to my now almost daily emails chasing my refund. This is a terrible level of service from somewhere I had always enjoyed the food.

The best place I have found for bao buns in Belfast. I always get the bbq pork bao bun and it’s so good and actually tastes authentic. It’s served with pickled cucumber and peanuts and it’s a perfect combination. I also always get hoisin mayo with it and I couldn’t recommend this combo enough. Something I go back for again and again.

What an amazing find. Food so fresh tasting and delicious. Plentiful and a wide choice to suit all. Superb value and the meal deal is so large my husband couldnt finish it.

Good for when you're bored of chicken goujons and/or bread, but still want something flavourful, hearty and filling.

Loads of great veggie and vegan options here! Food always tastes fresh and there are lots of different combos so you always have something new to try. Staff are always helpful and explain the ordering process if you've never been before. Always very clean and social distancing is adhered to.

The food was really good. The staff member who served us was very helpful in offering suggestions and carefully selected the best pieces of meat for us despite this not being requested. The only thing I could say as a negative was that even though the tables had a screen dividing them, the people in the queue were forced to stand within 1M of people who were dining in, which is not great during the pandemic. However there is nothing that can be done about this as the building itself is small.

Tasty bao, not the most authentic you can get but that’s fast food for you. Good for on the go, probably would come again. Staff were a little rude but otherwise fine

This place is now renamed Bao Bun.I usually get the Bao crispy chicken burger with bbq sauce and bbq chips. But this time I asked fur fries with Katsu curry sauce and asian slaw. Big mistake as the Katsu does not compliment the slaw atall. Next time I will go bbq again. At nearly £6.00 it is not cheap but it is different and tasty. Staff are efficient and friendly and like its Lisburn Road shop is very busy. Try it.
