Great day. Friendly staff. Our only complaint was the service for food for really long, waited ages and had to ask constantly otherwise tasted amazing. Looking forward to returning again when the revamp has happened.

Had a spa day, it was really nice and relaxing. Just what was needed.

From the moment I was greeted by a lovely smiling Rachel my journey began, from our conversation and a lovely coffee. Then introduced to Cee Jay who would now look after me. From the moment Cee Jay placed her hands on my back, my mind, body & soul felt safe & relaxed for the rest of my treatment. I felt Amazing 💕 Rachel greeted me at reception with a lovely smile and asked if my treatment went well and was very pleased with my reply. I can say from the moment I stepped foot in the door until I stepped out again all staff were welcoming and thoughtful. Bannantynes will be on my guilty pleasure list. Thankyou x

Saturday 22nd June 24 - We came as a group of 10 ladies celebrating 4 ‘big birthdays’ and it was a truly memorable day. We were blessed with the weather which was a bonus but the organisation of our day began before we even arrived. A call from Tessa meant that our treatments were all streamlined and didn’t clash with an our lunch, on arrival we were met by smiley faced staff on reception who were very helpful! On to Rhea Jolly in the restaurant who organised the lunches by pre-ordering which meant that there was no waiting or confusion and we all ate together!! A special thank you to Rhea who managed to find a dietary fitting meal for my mum. Treatments arrived and we all had a wonderful experience - I would like to mention Pamela who was amazing!! The whole hour was relaxing, stress free and worth every penny!! I have been to Kingsford Park a number of times and have always been happy with my experience but in Saturday… You outdone yourselves!!! Thank you so much xx

Joined the health club about 6 weeks ago and it's exactly what I wanted. Friendly staff, good facilities, easy access and lots of classes and opportunities!

Had a spa experience booked for my birthday, when arrived 10.15 was greeted with " we have had a power cut" . Told to sit in conservatory and wait (they said they would make a decision at 10.30) after a short while someone come round and offered us a complementary juice. By 11.00 still nothing so my friend asked the staff and was told wouldnt know until at least 12.30/1.00. We decided as we had already waited a bit of time on my birthday we wasnt going to waste anymore of my day. As my friend had driven up from Surrey especially and it was my birthday, we cannot rebook now till end of July. I feel there handling of the situation could of been better considering we got a phone call to say don't attend after we had already been and been left over an hour, so was past our 1st treatment time!!

Had a wonderful experience, staff are very friendly and helpful. Tessa on reception was really helpful. Food was great and treatment was lovely. Will be returning.

I went Saturday with two friends and we had the most wonderful day. Our treatments were fab and so relaxing. High Tea was delicious and swimming pool, jacuzzi etc were lovely. We will definitely go back.

Place is grotty, too many foreign staff without the appropriate skills necessary unfortunately. Now over subscribed and not the relaxing atmosphere one would expect. Shame really, was nice before the take over.

Great day out with a friend and place to relax. Good size pool, jacuzzi, steam, salt and sauna rooms. Changing rooms well equipped with many hot showers, decent lockers and hairdryers. Treatments on offer very good and nice ambience. Food is good with various options for vegetarians and vegans at reasonable prices. Has a lounge area where you can get snacks, coffee or drinks and just completing an outside area for the summer 24.

OK, but unfortunately in need of TLC. Changing rooms dirty, pool cloudy, bits not working due to missing or broken light bulbs. 🤔 Far too crowded, should limit amount of people. Will not visit on a weekend again if I ever do decide to give it another go. Disappointing day.

A Horrendous Experience: Avoid Bannatyne Kingsford Park at All Costs! I am writing this review to warn others about the appalling treatment I received from Bannatyne Kingsford Park. My ordeal began when I was involved in a life-altering car accident in July of this year. Given the severity of my injuries, I contacted Kingsford Park to request a pause in my membership while I underwent necessary medical treatment. To my dismay, Kingsford Park insisted on charging a £10 monthly fee for the pause, despite the contract clearly stating that no such fee is required when pausing due to an injury. The individual I spoke to over the phone was not only rude but also dismissive of my situation, showing no care or concern for the fact that I had been through a serious accident. What followed was a relentless campaign of harassment by Bannatyne, pressuring me to pay the pause fee. I was even promised that the fee would be waived if I provided a doctor's note, which I promptly did, considering that my injury rendered me unable to work, let alone work out. I personally visited the location to deliver the doctor's note and informed them about my life-changing injury and the abhorrent treatment I had endured during this incredibly challenging period. I explicitly stated that I wanted my pause fee waived, as per the contractual agreement, and that I wished to cancel my membership due to the traumatic experience I had with Bannatyne. Despite receiving assurances that my requests would be honored, I subsequently received numerous harassing emails and an outrageous charge of £50! I reached out to the on-site manager, hoping for a resolution, but was met with the same level of rudeness and disrespect as before. There was no care, compassion, or consideration for the fact that I had been left with life-changing injuries from a car accident. Instead, Bannatyne expected me to pay £50 and endure condescending treatment. I implore everyone reading this review: AVOID Bannatyne Kingsford Park like the plague! The callous and unprofessional behavior I encountered during a time when I needed support the most is utterly unforgivable. This establishment has shown a complete disregard for their contractual obligations, as well as a lack of empathy and basic decency towards their members. Spare yourself the stress, frustration, and financial exploitation that I experienced by steering clear of this facility. There are far better fitness centers out there that will treat you with the respect and compassion you deserve.

Always a pleasure visiting Bannatyne Kingsford Park. The staff are always warm ,friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is very relaxed and food and drink options are varied and delicious

Was recommended by a friend to come to this bannatyne spa. Set in lovely grounds, the place was very clean. 3 out of 4 treatments were enjoyable and relaxing. Problem getting our lunch, we had to wait over an hour as they forgot us. The manager was very apologetic and accepted they were at fault and offered a refund. Overall, we had a nice time but probably won't go back.

Went to a Caribbean night hosted by Bannatyne Kingsford Park.. was a shame there were less than 3 actual Caribbean songs… Otherwise the gym is amazing, the spa and relaxation facilities are incredible and the staff are helpful and lovely.

Had a really wonderful day at Bannatyne Health Spa. Which was an Easter treat from my daughter. We went swimming and had a Swedish back and shoulder massage, which was very relaxing. We also had lunch and dinner there, both meals were really good.

Massage was overpriced (over £20 more than I have paid elsewhere) and 20 mins rather than the 30 mins advertised. Have changed their gym equipment and will not let me cancel even though it is in their contract that cancellation is possible following major changes. Money grabbing

Massage was great, they have a pool, steam, sauna and Himalayan salt rooms. Gym, relaxation rooms, waterbeds, warm beds, it's all good. The restaurant is a little over priced but nice food

Absolutely ridiculous to charge £30 for a day pass when the membership is £62 and this is if you go with a current member, I wonder how much it would cost if you just want to go to try the gym. Extortion.

The menu changes every so often but there’s usually a great selection of food on offer.

I visited Kingsford Park for a spa day and found the experience stressful at times. As a wheelchair user I don't find that many accomodations have been put in place for instance we have to go through the restaurant to the spa reception and water beds. I wonder why a ramp has not been fitted so that we can go through the shop instead. The lifts are antiquated (once we got stuck in the lift!) and it is hard to manouvre through the many doors upstairs in the treatment area. What's more, each time we've visted either the jacuzzi or the steam room is out of order. Unfortunately we also find the food pretty bland, I ordered avocado on toast and it was served sliced on top of the bread with huge pieces of sliced chilli. There was no finesse, I think the avocado could have been mashed with chilli flakes or a nice dressing instead... Disappointing as it's a lovely setting and venue!

First experience with my daughter today, we had a Swedish massage and enjoyed all the facilities, both feeling tired but happy 😊 will definitely be back 👍

Good gluten free food Clean changing rooms Lovely relaxing rooms Couldn’t enjoy the swimming pool area though and it gave us all a headache who were on a spa day! They had dance music blaring out doing water aerobics. I did complain to the gym reception and so did other people and she was so rude and said we should checked when classes were I said no we shouldn’t of checked this should of stated when we booked the spa break! I’d expect some money off for that considering I paid £100!

Relaxing spa day. Quite basic facilities. Treatments by Emmy were very good- friendly and happy. And explained treatment and products well. Swimming pool room so hot- just sitting by pool felt like I could pass out multiple times. Felt sorry for the staff sweeping away water on sides -all bright red in the face. Very busy and struggled to get somewhere to sit at times.

We arrived at 10.00 as road's were really busy and we went straight to the spa reception to book in, oh you have to go straight upstairs as your treatments were at 10.00, I showed her our confirmation email stating treatments 10.30 not a good start , nothing was mentioned about lunch just asked for deposit for lockers. Treatment room was cold the therapist did apologise for that, treatments were lovely. On the way down I booked a table for 12.00, when we walked in we were the only one's but it still took 10 minutes for someone to come and take our order. We ordered sandwiches and a hot drink that was nice, when we finished we got up and started walking back to the spa area. Next thing a girl is running through the coffee shop waving a bill saying when she gets to me you haven't paid for your drinks, I showed her my voucher which state's hot drinks included. Oh it's a Groupon voucher wait here while I go and check, she didn't actually come back to me but stood in the restaurant doorway and put her thumbs up. No actual apology afterwards, I was not impressed doesn't matter where my voucher came from it's all business

Had a wonderful day at Bannatyne Spa Kingsford Park today. The facilities are great. Had lovely meal of spicy butternut squash with wild rice ...so tasty and gorgeous and well presented .. rasberry non alcoholic mohita...absolutely beautiful and the man who served us in the restaurant went above and beyond. The treatments with Jade were fantastic...she got so many knots put of my back and done scalp and foot massage. I felt so relaxed and rejuvinated and I cannot recommend enough....fantastic day ..lovely staff...thankyou so much.

Set in lovely grounds with plenty of car parking. The staff here are very polite, helpful and professional. The pool area and facilities are very nice. Membership is available at about £800 per year. The only downside to this establishment and I am surprised to discover this is the changing facilities. Several lockers do not work and some showers were defective. The hydro pool was also out of order. The club looked as if they were short of funds for essential maintenance, which is a little disappointing for Bannatyne Premises!!

Nice clean and well kept, the spa days are definitely worth It, the pool area has a large swimming pool hot tub sauna's etc and a great place to relax the gym is well equipped and had loads of classes to do, ample parking, a beautiful building and grounds to top it off

Very nice. The gym is small, but has enough equipment for the average gym goer. The spa and swimming areas and facilities are top notch and lovely! The IT system is old and slow, but they do have wrist bands for entry and locker usage Etc. Very clean, very friendly and a nice place.

When I called to book the massage after having a look at the Bannatyne website, I was told the prices there were slightly more expensive because it’s supposed to be a better spa than other Bannatynes .. honestly it didn’t feel like one at all. So many details that are not details when you’re thinking ‘ spa ‘ and even more ‘ luxury ‘ spa were missed. What was nice: the massage therapist attitude: friendly, welcoming, and the massage was ok. What needs much improvement: #1 the room was cold.. when you’re going to be half undressed for 30min you’d expect some attention to room temperature. I mentioned it to the massage therapist at the start and she upped it but I guess it was taking too long or something because I was still too cold during.. way to ruin the relaxation part. #2 the towel and oil used ever head of fabric conditioner? The towels I had to lie on for the whole massage were obviously old ones with a dry embossed type material that marks the skin . Nothing lethal obviously but far away from relaxing, soft or spa vibe. Closer to a cheap cheap spa. Also, I couldn’t see what oil she used but can tell it was a weird gel hybrid maybe oil that felt rather cold too. #3 The timing and price: I unfortunately arrived late due to a GPS issue: it indicated we had arrived earlier on the road then was all confused so I arrived 5 min late. She finished my massage right on time and I was kindly told to basically go out as soon as possible. Surely many other people have had the same GPS issue and clients are not booked back to back. Was it professional that she ended on the dot? Yes. Was it kind or the extra mile you might expect from a great spa? Definitely not. Just 3/5 min could have made a difference, just the kindness, just trying at least..I ended up with a 20 min massage… try and enjoy that little time. Also, price wise I used to go to a wonderful massage therapist in Brighton who would do wonders for £50 an hour so you imagine my surprise and disappointment with being asked the same price for half the time and getting a very basic massage. If you’re going to charge £50 for 30 min, better back up your price with wonderful skills or expect to hear about it #4 the music: If you’re going to claim yourself a spa and especially a great one music matters. It was supposedly spa music except I found out without surprise when coming out of the room that it is the same music used in the whole establishment meaning not always that relaxing, different weird vibes mixed, hard to explain in words but just bad music. It simply shows again no attention to the ‘ not so small things ‘ which a real luxury spa has. Please do have a musician or someone who really likes music listen to the terrible selection and change it. It’s spa music so not even complicated music to find but even that somehow was really bad honestly. #5 Personal preference and attention to detail I guess but why would you put your loud coffee place next to the reception so that people coming in to relax and have a massage expecting ‘ calm and serenity ‘ are welcomed by coffee machine noise and loud voices? Yes the place is also a gym but again if you’re going to title yourself luxury spa too, go all the way: have a different entrance or create vibe with a low noise zen coffee place. Just think and make it right. Only one thing in my opinion said spa : the decor. Props to the decorator (except for the toilets where they blatantly made no effort: ie no toilet paper holder see pic) . Conclusion: everything except the decor said cheap gym so called spa and honestly for the price rip off.. Have a look at the low reviews also as I did: turns out someone named Kelly and a very similar massage experience. thought maybe it was a one off but doesn’t look like it, appalling …

Very clean, friendly and helpful. Great offering of les Mills classes. Clean spa and swimming pool. Brand new technogym facilities. Also a nice relaxation and cafe area. My only complaint is that the classes are often full, so difficult to book classes.

I had a lovely day here with my daughter as a birthday treat. We had treatments which were professionally done and the girls were friendly . Facilities are clean and plentiful beds by the pool for everyone. If u get a chance to go and enjoy this little piece of heaven then go!!

First time visiting the spa. Very busy on a Saturday but still a lovely day. We were looked after at different points throughout the day by Rhea Jolly. She has some of the best customer service we have ever experienced. Whether it was in the restaurant or spa Rhea went above and beyond to make our day memorable.

There is nothing majorly wrong with the place, it's clean and the staff are all great. But there was a general accumulation of issues which overall didn't result in the relaxing day we had hoped for, it just seems that attention to detail is lacking and they are chasing money at the expense of customer experience. In general, there are far too many people. This becomes obvious when you cannot get two chairs together, and loungers are in even shorter supply. We eventually got lucky but saw other couples failing to find anywhere to sit poolside at all. We were unceremoniously kicked out of the pool to make way for an aqua aerobics class, complete with loud dance music which was hardly conducive to the relaxing environment we had expected. This also exacerbated the problem with crowding in other areas, and as everything is in one area the music permeates the whole place. Coffee is Starbucks, but was very poor despite being £4 for a flat white. Served far too hot, with the beans and milk both tasting burnt. We also found out later that the caramel syrup contains dairy, and despite us both ordering coffee with oat milk no one asked about allergens. Lunch was not bad, but again lacked any sort of thought of finesse. My "Moroccan lamb bap with spiced chips" came with the exact same plain chips as my partners Korean BBQ burger, and served on the same untoasted bun which in both cases resulted in a distinct lack of structural integrity.

Had a lively day with my mother in law sister in and daughter staff very accommodateing

20 min massage when paid for 30 Minutes. I booked a 30 minute massage as advertised on their website, collected from the waiting area 5 mins late. Room a little chilly. Massage oil freezing! (Like cold ultrasound gel) Dressed and back downstairs within 28 mins. £55 for 20 mins. Spoke to reception and they said they had changed their treatment times and now you got “20 mins of hands on time and the 30 minutes refers to use of the room!!!” No other beauty salon/spa works in that way. Advertise a 30 minute massage and you expect 30 minutes of hands on time. And a warm room with warmed oil!!!! Do not book!!!!

Facilities were a bit outdated, the waterbed area was occupied by three women who wouldn't stop talking so unfortunately not so much relaxing. But definitely a good price for what you get.

Had my first visit today using a SpaBreak voucher. Very relaxing Himalayan Salt Massage. The spa was clean throughout and all the staff were very friendly. Lovely lunch in the bar area. Definitely will be returning.

Place is great, most facilities are in good working order. Downside is inability to book classes - if you're not hovering above the 'book' button dead on 9pm you're not likely to get a place. Unless you want to be one of the 15-20 on the wait list.

Having been to loads of spas in the past including a bannatyne's not far away from Kingsford and I must say I was quite disappointed. It looked abit tatty from the outside, staff were ok with the exception of our very tall waiter and my masseuse (sorry can't remember names) they were really friendly. Our lunch was nice. The pool and spa area were good but could have been better by thinking more about the space for people to relax. We had to relax in the jacuzzi as all the loungers were taken and we weren't even there at the height of season. Quite a few of the loungers were taken by people putting towels on them and in the 1hr and half we were there, they had not come back to them to use them. When I advised the receptionist about this before we left, I was advised that I should have just moved the towels myself and sat on the lounger! I have anxiety and would not have wanted any confrontation with anyone over a lounger as I was there for a relaxing time. I would definitely not recommend or go back to Kingsford and not sure I would even go to another bannatyne in the future after that experience

Great resort, excellent spa facilities, I am a member the gym could do with an update, hence the score of 4, but it has mist things you need for static training. When they eventually remove the static weights and uplift with more S&C equipment, it will definitely be a 5 ☆

Visited on Saturday as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. I was a little skeptical as tried many a time to call reception (called over eight times) to finalise some booking details and had no answer . However, we thoroughly enjoyed the spa. Everything was clean and the spa in general was one of the best ones I’ve been to! I really recommend making use of the relaxation room and the water beds as we spent most of our time there. However, the reception team didn’t inform us of these rooms, we only became aware of them when another guest told us about them. The massages were great and really relaxing. Lunch was good too, the food was very tasty however service was slow and we had to chase up where our mains were. Apart from that we had a great time and would probably come back again!

Rude customer service. Avoid this company at all cost!!! I am disgusted on how they have replied to me absolutely appalling.

Fantastic birthday treat. Beautiful location, wonderful swimming area, such a shame not all facilities were working, and we couldn't get booked in for any treatments even though we tried online days before and tried to call. Long way to come to sit in a pool. Definitely book way in advance Breakfast was delicious

What a wonderful Spa day from start to finish!!!! The whole experience was just so lovely chilled with excellent service from every member of staff. It’s spotlessly clean and the treatments are just fabulous. My first treatment with Mahima was a facial/ arm & hand massage and also a foot massage. It was a 10/10 and I almost fell asleep . My second treatment was with Michelle I had a body wrap which I’ve had elsewhere before. The best one so far & left me totally relaxed. Everyone you speak to is polite helpful and happy including the lovely manager Tim 😊 Looking forward to returning next January 2024.

Beautiful grounds brilliant place for a party

The building is looking rather old and tired. Jacuzzi was grubby. While we sat near pool, staff came round and swept water off the floor into the pool. Didn't go in. They need a rule about reserving seats poolside. If you're having a treatment/kunch/drinks etc take your bits with you rather than leaving them for an hour+ poolside.

Booked an afternoon Tea for 18 people, the service was awful from start to finish. Disorganised considering I had booked in advance. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Food was good , only plus point! Would not recommend, very disappointed.

The spa was okay. One pool kept getting closed due to the chlorine level. I booked 3 treatments and I didn't enjoy any of them. The ladies were lovely but didn't seem to know what they were doing. There was no flow to the massages. Great shame

AVOID *** DO NOT USE *** I’ve booked spa for my mother in law who doesnt speak english. Taxi which supposed to take her there was delayed 15 minutes. I called up receptionist to made her aware of this. They said no problem. 10 minutes later im getting call that they arrived late and they cant provide treatment to them. Ended up paying £140 for literally 20 minutes massage and thats it. Rude manager and disgusting service . Will never use again. Also will make sure that all my friends are aware how disgusting you are. You did not take care about your customers at all. DO NOT USE *** AVOID

The lifts been broken for months. My daughter is a wheelchair user so the lift is a must for her and they know that. Every time she wants to go swimming her carers have to call the manager so he can take them round the back fire exit door and go through the gym. We pay the same money everyone else so my girl should be able to use the front door as everyone else. I thought they would see how wrong this is but it’s still not fixed.

Had a spa day with my mum and sister. 2 treatments each and access to the pool. Full body massage was ok but definitely could improve. It should be smooth and constant movement however it wasn’t full on. One hand was off and on. Had a feeling that therapist checking phone or something. Same with facial. No recommendation what was used for facial either. My mum and sister had better experience and had all information of products used provided. Other facilities lovely. Few options for relaxation, nice outdoor area. Had no time for pool. Downside that no towels provided even if you pay for a spa day. Overall lovely place just need to check who is doing treatments if you are in for that.

Me and my friends came yesterday. We had a lovely day, the staff are so friendly. The facilities are very clean. The food was lovely. We had a massage and facial which was amazing, we all felt so relaxed and refreshed when we left. It was such a lovely experience and will definitely come again. Great customer service. The treatments were lovely. Tracy was amazing. A nice relaxing environment to be. Spa area is a nice size. Disabled access is OK. There is a lift onsite Definitely would come again.

Below average especially considering the price... 3rd time at a bannatyne... Would NOT recommend

One of the best Spas I've ever been in the UK. Wonderful atmosphere, overpolite stuff, quiet, and professional masseuses. They have Starbucks coffee (and this made my day even more perfect). Every facility is clean and tidy. The garden is beautiful. Definitely will come back again.

Lovely clean surroundings & two treatments were worth waiting for. Unfortunately relaxation around the pool was impossible as an aqua aerobics class was in full progression with the music at full blast! Breakfast was good but, slow to be served as was lunch .. two hours in the restaurant just for lunch wasn’t acceptable! Bathrobes etc was chargeable plus an extra £10 refundable deposit.. however, this will take 3-5 days to hit our account. Overall the treatments were the best part of the day, but unfortunately this made the day rather expensive for what you actually get!

First time at Bannatyne health spa really nice and friendly clean had lunch very nice could do a bit more for veggies overall a good day out
