First visit (recommended) Got two fish, large chips and two mushy peas. Fish cooked freshly to order, much better than having several sat keeping warm. All very nice, great size fish and excellent batter. No complaints at all and will certainly go again as two of our favoured local chippies now serve very small fish

Visited today at 10.00, asked for two sausage barms to be rudely told we only have one sausage. Breakfast is apparently served until 11.30. It was not the fact there was only one sausage left, but rather the customer service, which was quite frankly poor. Last week my son was screamed at for walking on the floor when a member of staff was sweeping. The staff need to be mindful that its the customers who ultimately pay their wages, no customer- no job. Very disappointed

26 Moss Delph LaneThis was my go to Chippie in my area but feel like food and standards have slipped. Last meal was not that good and Chips were warm ups from lunch. So we have decided to travel to Ormskirk and use the Acropolis little bit more expensive but quality of food is excellent.

105 County RoadSausage and egg barm was delicious. The sausage was really tasty and good texture, it didn't feel or taste cheap. Decent barm. Service was excellent and friendly too. I can't fault this place based on my one visit and if I am working nearby (Southport Handyman Service) again I will definitely go back, I have already recommended it to a friend who is a gardener and works Ormskirk regularly.

Unit 2 Two Saints PlThe Ormskirk Macdonald's is ok. We've had various times where we've collected food to take out and then discovered something was missing from the order/ the order was wrong (but by then we had left and were either home or miles away....). Other times, whilst eating in, there would be groups of older teens being mouthy, running through to go into the toilets and swearing across the restaurant to impress other groups - who wants to be surrounded by that. Last time we went in, we saw the manager asking a member of staff to have words with them. He didn't seem to do anything (was probably too intimidated) so the manager went and told them to leave. I haven't seen that member of staff in there since whenever we've walked past. Might be better now of course but we don't go in anymore. Four stars due to the atmosphere when we used to go in.
