Banh Mi Leo in Greenwich

After a trip to Vietnam, I had to try the banh mi here! The sandwiches were good quality and tasty, fried spring rolls also good. Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was great. Excellent service and lovely people working there. Prices were not bad and there is some seating available although perfect place to pick up a sandwich over lunch I think.

The previous negative reviews are shocking! The bahn mi here is the best I have had in London. Staff are friendly. Option to sit and eat in but quick to get a sandwich to go. Flavours are amazing and not too expensive considering London prices and the quality of the sandwich.

Great vegan spring rolls, they are my go to and I'm not a vegetarian! Visit almost weekly for a takeaway lunch, have never eaten in but it is an option.

I am usually satisfied with everything, however on my last two visits there has not been enough meat. Please add more, because its yummy!

Appalling and very rude service. I had an issue with a Bahn mi that was so overcooked it was inedible. I was promised a replacement on my next visit but when I returned to redeem the offer I was informed that this was not possible. The sales staff whom I spoke with should not have told me that and that was the end of the matter as far as this lady was concerned. I left my number for the manager / owner to call and talk with me but no one called. I week later I returned and again the same rude and ignorant lady told me that if no one called then they didn’t want to talk with me. Gobsmacked…….never have I experienced first hand such a low level of service regarding the quality of THEIR own food. IMHO Iwoukdnt bother wasting your money in here. Had to give 1star as you can’t post without one.

Had a vegetarian selection of dishes. Slight mix up with the order, but was dealt with ASAP and staff were lovely. Food was light, fresh and delicious. Glad this is my local joint. Cheers :)

Have passed this place often when exiting Greenwich DLR station, and decided to try a takeaway meal. Service was friendly, place was very clean, and the food was very good. Tried the prawn dishes (satay with rice noodles) and summer rolls. Portions are quite large and well prepared. Will return to try some meat dishes before long. There are a few tables outside if one wants to "eat in".

This is my go to place for a Gluten Free lunch. They have a good selection of GF options, which are never heavy, and are always good quality. A big fan of their Five Spice Chicken Rice Bowl and their GF Spring Rolls. It is tucked away from the main road, and does require a little searching... but if you have a GF intolerance or allergy, feel sure that you won’t have any issues. They also will state on their menus GF options. Enjoy...and Banh Mi Leo... I will see you again soon!

I have been visiting Banh Mi Leo for the past year and a half and I love it - the Bahn Mis and the rice bowls are cooked beautifully, the food is fresh and the service is extremely friendly. I highly recommend.

What a great little place for picking up some lovely Korean food - loved the bibimbap but you need to get your order in quickly if you want the chicken - goes like hotcakes!!

I've been eating there since they opened and enjoyed my food every single time. Their vegan spring rolls are hand made and taste delicious. Egg sandwich is always my saviour when I'm on the go. Staff is super lovely, hardworking and friendly and I always feel very welcome when I come there. Thank you from my heart 💞💞💞

Worst people to work for in London. They treat you with no respect then they drop you and drop all your shifts. Kitchen is so dirty and food is microwaved. The deep fat fryer looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Place is swarming with flies and the land on the food that is served to customers. Don't recommend eating or working there.

This place is more like a sandwich bar than a restaurant. It didn’t seem well frequented - one other couple there when we went. The range of Vietnamese food is limited and portions are small and served in cartons. Considering the wealth of excellent Vietnamese restaurants in nearby Deptford, the quality of the food here is poor. We tried the salad bowl of rice noodles with pork lemongrass which consisted of some tasteless pork, noodles, 3 slices of cucumber, a few shreds of lettuce and a tiny scattering of carrot. We left feeling hungry and won’t be back.

Myself and my family came back here to this great place as we had lovely friendly service and yummy food. Very good prices too. I would recommend this place to my friends too.

The food was terrible. Plain, tasteless, poorly presented, not as advertised and the meat was mostly fat. Extremely poor value for money. I could have done a better job myself.
