Our family of four stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and the place (because there were no workers) was empty. Nevertheless we enjoyed the excellent food and quick service. It's very cheap for the value you get - especially in the City. Highly recommended.

We ordered several dishes, I should have known that it won’t be truly authentic. If there is a sweet and sour chicken on the menu. I usually associate that dish with Chinese take out food. The pho broth was not particularly tasty and meat was thick and tough. We also ordered the Banh Mi roast pork since it is in the title of the establishment but this too was not so tasty. I do have to say however, there is a steady flow of patrons so I must have ordered the wrong items. On the positive side the wait staff are friendly and establishment is relatively clean.

A great place to grab a quick, warming and filling bite to eat. Lovely pho would go back and would recommend to all.

The pho stock was weak. No taste of sweet basil. Beef pieces were fatty and horrible. Worst pho I've ever had.

I have tasted good Vietnamese classic dishes in central London and the quality of this restaurant does not match. Had the beef pho. Nothing stands out and the meat was thick and tough.

There is an additional charge if you would like your pho to dine in, so I chose to take it to go. I was not a fan - there was some funky flavor profile I am just not used to in my pho...mint maybe? I only ate about half and that was enough. I also chose the gyoza to take to go as well, and was not entirely impressed. I had high hopes but it just didn't deliver. Note: seems to only be open for lunch.

Tried to go next door to Assenheims, but that was so full we tried BanhMi City next door, and were grateful we did. We chose, received a numbered ticket, sat down and the food was prepared quickly and our number called. Pho comes in takeaway pots, but you can eat it, and we did and it was very good and reasonably priced. Of course Banh Mi is a sandwich that should be made of a baguette with at least some rice flour, and filled with a keen flavoured meat; the one here was ok accordingly to my colleagues but not special.

I came here on a Tuesday we were a table of three we didn’t have a booking but we were seated very quickly despite it being busy the service was also fast and good I ordered the mai sour plum and it was so nice and refreshing and nicely salty I would definitely recommend I also ordered the Saigon sate pho and it was a peanuty broth with tender beef I enjoyed it very much I will be returning!! We paid around £30 per head but we also shared starters and it’s expected for the area. The portions were very good and filling too

Went with a couple of friend for din dins. When we first arrived they said we had to wait an hour to be seated, I asked for a booking and after a lil tug of war he agreed to seat us in an hours time. Now, unfortunately I wasn't able to try the pho because I told them I had a coriander intolerance and they absolutely refused to sell me anything with coriander in it. (So be warned, if you wanna take that risk don't say anything 😅...I play with my life so its good). I ended up have the wok friend chicken and prawns noodles, which were okay....a bit basic and a bit dry and definitely not authentic. The spring rolls and calamari were delicious 10/10. I give them that! I tried my friends hot and spicy soup which again was okay but I didn't feel like the food transported me anywhere.
