Fantastic food as always. I called in advance to ensure there were some gluten free options and the kitchen were SO accommodating. Highly recommended .

Great decor with local artwork on the walls. Lovely staff and chilled vibe. We were a group of vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters - everyone had plenty of choice and left full! I had the halloumi gyros special which was delicious and a side of chips. Great drink selection too. Love this place and will be back!

As always - amazing food and just the best atmosphere!!! Always made so welcome, and the entertainment is so good. We return again and again. Highly recommended.

Arrived as a walk in with pooch in tow, they were fine to let us in and we had a table by the radiator Ordered tacos, and some gyozas which were lovely. They do ales and my partner had one which he enjoyed Nice atmos and friendly bar guy

There is much to like about Bang in Belper. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there is a great atmosphere. Dogs are allowed in, adding to the friendly and informal atmosphere. There are lots of beers on tap and keg but they are very much in the American style no traditional bitters, for example. The issue is the food. I was served a mediocre kebab on a nan bread with the consistency of chewing gum, inedible. The staff listened when I complained and offered a refund, fair enough. But I have no confidence that things will improve. Bang makes a big thing of freshly prepared food in its social media but these Nans were bought in -I didn’t ask about the chips but I suspect they came from the freezer. For the quality of the food the prices are way too high. Bang is charging the same for a lacklustre kebab as other local restaurants are for a full main course. Disappointing.

Their salt beef is amazing! Excellent food and service. Loads of choice of food and drinks, will definitely be back as spoilt for choice and want to try more.

An excellent place, highly recommended! I’ve visited on a number of occasions, and this place delivers a consistent good quality experience. A place you’ll find a great range of good quality food and beer, and the most friendly staff around. They also have great live music artists every Sunday. A must visit venue if you’re in the area!

Avoid Bang in Belper at all costs folks. Extremely rude staff. We were on a table reserved for a group at 16:45 when we were asked to move at 16:35. Their reason? Because the other party had paid £150 to reserve it 😂 Surely they could wait 10 minutes. It wouldn't happen in a restaurant. I suffer badly with anxiety and depression and despite my partner telling the staff this they continued to be rude. Congratulations for making feel worse at Christmas. Save your hard earnt money and go to Rumours instead, staff are a lot more friendly. Never a problem at Belper Tap, they were a lovely couple.

The variety of beer is mind blowing, different everytime, the food varies from week to week & the atmosphere is great.

This is honestly my favourite place to be in Belper, I love the food, the beer and the vibe! Had lunch here with my family today and we all absolutely loved it, especially my choice which was the special of the day! I was particularly impressed with my 0.5% IPA (I was driving, unfortunately!) Thank you to the team, BangIn Belper inspires me ♥️

It's the first time we'd eaten. at Bang in it's current location . We were blown away by the food, everything is home cooked and was absolutely fabulous. They have a great selection of beer too. Fantastic service. Highly recommended.

Me and my friends came on a busy Saturday evening a few weeks ago and even though we hadn’t booked they, we’d just been rejected elsewhere, let all 6 of us get a table (Sorry for not booking, it was a very last minute occasion) the interior was very nice and unique with lots of paintings; which were all very good, mismatched tables; which added to the character of the setting and a bar with friendly staff and lots of different choices for drink! I ordered, after a lot of time spent looking at the menu, The Indian Kebab, a gyoza platter and some loaded fries (and that was just my order!) The service was amazing and friendly, the waiter was really friendly and attentive. The food was really beautiful and well created with every flavour telling a different story and being perfectly created to maximise it. I loved my food, the fries and gyoza were beautiful sides as well. Would definitely return, thanks !!! ❤️❤️ keep up the good work

Waited an hour for food, felt like the pitta bread of the three kebabs had been microwaved (two chicken, one halloumi). Served in a sloppy manner with the server holding a plate with his thumb in our food. The toilets are dirty and we couldn’t wait to leave.

Went to try the £35 Thursday offer- absolutely brilliant! Food was awesome, service amazing and we literally cleared the plates! Total gem of a place! Thank you guys, can’t wait to return!

We’ve been so excited to visit Bangin Belper and last night we made it! The interior is cool and quirky and the general feel is relaxed and friendly. The staff were very helpful telling us about the beers and they let us try some to help us choose :) the menu is simple but the variety of ways you can have it served is amazing! We had the halloumi kebab with Mediterranean topping, salt beef open burrito, satay chicken and bbq loaded fries. Absolutely wow they were presented beautifully and tasted incredible! We can’t wait to go back already l!! I don’t know how they’ve done it but they’ve got a really cool real ale bar with amazing food to boot ! We feel lucky to live in belper and have this wonderful place to visit!

Epic fresh quality food and a great selection of beer in a nice friendly place. This is a great bar, we always feel welcomed. There’s always a varied choice of beers and they are happy to let you have a try before you buy.
