Band of Burgers in Waltham Forest

Very good burgers. But lately I found that the sauce is excessive. It overpowers that taste of the beef. The staffs are always friendly and prices are mid range.

Over the past month, I've had a series of disappointing experiences at this restaurant. A month ago, during a daytime visit, I witnessed the chef being visibly agitated while on the phone, shouting and using profanity. The food we ordered, a well-done burger, arrived undercooked, leading to our dissatisfaction. They did, however, replace the burgers for us. Two weeks later, on a Sunday, I encountered a hazardous situation when the restaurant floor was slippery due to mopping, but there were no warning signs. When I inquired about it, the response was that they closed at 10:30, which didn't seem to justify the wet floors. The seating area was also affected as the floor was thoroughly wet and smelled of bleach. While ordering a burger, the food was served on time, but the chef's constant phone usage, screaming, and swearing prompted us to change tables. Following this incident, we decided not to dine in and opted for a takeaway. It's worth noting that parking was a reason for our late visit, though it wasn't particularly late. On another occasion, when ordering a takeaway, we received the "chicks on fire" burger, but the chicken was raw, and the coleslaw was expired and rotten, suggesting unprofessional staff. These recurring issues lead me to believe that there's a systemic problem with unprofessional staff at this establishment, and it's imperative that the management addresses these concerns. Furthermore, I experienced poor connectivity when trying to contact the restaurant, requiring me to call 2-3 times. In sum, it's clear that this place is currently being run by unprofessional staff, and improvements are needed to ensure a better dining experience.

Great Burgers and friendly professional service... if I lived in the area it would be a regular place to eat. Nice atmosphere and quick but not rushed service

Not happy...i usully get the buy 1 get 1 free offer when i can...but they changed it to buy 2 get 1 free but still left the advert as buy 1 get 1 free...Should be reported to trading standards the low life f's...They have to be deceptive to get extra custom...REALLY REALLY NOT HAPPY

The best spot in Walthamstow if you are looking for an authentic burger experience. We had a variety a starters such as chicken strip, their Mexican chick burger, The BBKing and the Elvis beef burger. Everything tasted fresh and the staff was very friendly. The place was well kept and lots of seating space. Will be coming back.

1 absolutely disgusted with the service. The food is cheap. The chips are cheap. The place is absolutely filthy front and back even the toilets even outside the shop it’s disgusting will never go there again

I truly believe that this place is a pigsty, the place is filthy the floors tables and toilet and front and back kitchen was so dirty you can see on the white freezer a big black dirty mark where people was opening and shouting the door, even the burgers where raw I had to spit them out and put them on the plate so they can see them, they still didn't care, they changed the chips to cheap one where I could not eat them, no spices for your chips or burger, just rude Al the way, will never go back there disgusting and filthy, and the food was crap

Delicious food and great customer service they even gave the kids lollipops at the end very nice seating environment

The customer service was perfect. Lady who served me was polite and very attentive. I’ve got my food quick and nice made. I ordered onion rings (could be improved the number of them) and also the burger (meat could be bigger) apart from size the taste was really good and fast to be prepared. If burger meat was bigger i surely would give 5 star. I chase burger la around the city eating all the time and I pretty much know the topic. Place is clean and tidy in general with music rolling.

Ordered from Walthamstow branch and when it arrived there was one milkshake . When I called up the girl said yeah we know didn’t even bother apologising then when I asked them to send me another one they said I have to pay for a bottle of water and delivery charge again then they will send it because it was through Deliveroo Do they messed up and wouldn’t make up for it . To mar this worse this is the 3rd time a order has been wrong or something missing in the last 2 months . Don’t recommend band of burgers Walthamstow to anyone . Also why I’m at it chicken strips tasted so bad and the chips were soggy .

This place used to be good. But not now. 

Ordered by accident via a fault on the UBER eats website, and when I called within 4 minutes to cancel the really rude lady I spoke with said they had made the order already which was impossible. 

She was also dishonest about the time the order was completed (which was a few minutes in the future from the time we were speaking on the phone!!!. Clearly they needed the business! 

She then proceeded to hang up on me when I questioned her timings.

 To make matters worse the actual burger tasted gristly and I ended up throwing it away anyway! The burgers used to be good, but are now gristly and bland. 

Overrated and rude staff. Cannot recommend.

The food is good. In fact it could be great if it wasnt for the service. Unfortunately the service is so unpredictable. Out of the 6 or more times we have ordered from this restaurant the order has been wrong every time. Its always missing something. Weve given them the benefit of the doubt everytime because we like the food but unfortunately this time is the last. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 mikshakes and only 2 fries and 1 burger turned up. They were closed by the time the order arrived. This is literally the first review I've written on takeaway. Hopefully it will be the last. It is such a shame that a business has such a great product but really doesnt care on whether it actually gets to the customer or not. Happy to talk to anyone curious about the service.

Been to Band of Burgers before and always enjoyed it, and it was the same this time, although a few of the items seemed a little bland. Called and booked a table, no hassle whatsoever. Good spacious seating area and nice decor. Quick scan through the menu, ordered myself a sexy Mexican maid (never ordered a chicken burger) with chilli con carne chips and some thyme after thyme fries. We also got a few other side nachos, onion rings and the siracha wings (can’t find pics of the wings). Was a little disappointed they had no mocktails available on the day, but no bother they do my favourite Fentimans Rose Lemonade. I really loved the wings nice and spicy as well as juicy, such a shame I can’t find the pics. The onion rings lacked flavour was very bland. Nachos were ok. On to the sexy maid, wow I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, the burger was huge. Took one look at the burger and I knew this was going to get messy. I needed a knife and fork to eat my burger, and you wouldn’t know I was eating a burger looking at my plate. I did manage to eat it but I have to say slightly disappointed with the burger, very bland, but the chilli con carne chips complimented it well. My friends stuck to the trusted Big Cheese burger again no pics, but it’s a burger that never lets you down. Service was great as always, even let us pray which is a bonus.
